About this vendor
First of all, Congratulations! We're here to help you celebrate your wedding properly with something unique and entertaining for everyone, from your rowdy pals to Grandma, and even your hipster nephew. We're a big hit with rustic/retro-themed weddings as we transform popular songs everyone loves into a hoedown with fiddle, banjo, washboard, etc. Even better, we are flexible and affordable because you can add/subtract players to suit your budget. Our fiddler can even perform as a classical soloist or arrange a string ensemble. Email or call for pricing and details. We'd love to meet you! More at: www.thebodarks.com

You will not be disappointed.
The Bodarks were amazing to work with! We planned an engagement party from out of town and the Bodarks were so helpful even with recommending venues—which was so outside of their s...
cope of work. Just friendly and helpful on top of interesting and talented! Leading up to our event they were easy to communicate with and very on top of it and seemed genuinely excited for us—reaching out periodically just to ask if we were excited! So sweet! Such a talented group—we received so many compliments on the band at the party and since then people have been reaching out asking for their information! We had an outdoor party and it rained and the Bodarks quickly moved their instruments and setup inside and got right back to playing. Loved their music style and they even incorporated me and my fiancé’s names into songs sometimes (asked permission beforehand if we were good sports!) and were just all around fun and professional entertainers! Can’t say enough how professional they are. Hoping to book them again for the rehearsal dinner and future parties just for fun!
The Bodarks hold a special place in our lives. We have been fans for many years but they really came through and provided an excellent performance during our wedding and reception....
You could not ask for a more fun, talented, easy to work with group of musicians. They are well worth the money (although they were extremely affordable) and are some of the most amazing people around. I highly recommend The Bodarks for all of your musical needs!
The Bodarks played our wedding, and all I heard ALL NIGHT was how great the band was! Their energy is amazing, their selection of songs is fun and varied, and overall they just hav...
e an amazing presence. If live music is a must-have for your wedding, you couldn't do better - especially if you love jazz and blue-grass!
We had the Bodarks play our wedding in McKinney. Two years later, my friends and family still say how much they loved our band. They're incredibly talented musicians, very personab...
le, and make for a very memorable and unique wedding. We now go see their shows as often as we can!
We had the Bodarks play at our rehearsal dinner and it was so fun my mom worried our wedding band would be a let down in comparison. We first heard them playing through the open ...
window at a bar in downtown McKinney and had to stop in for a drink. My now-husband and I starting wondering if we could get them to play our rehearsal dinner at Gather on the square. We had a few conversations and made it happen and have been back to see them multiple times since. They are so fun and friendly and were the highlight of our weekend. Which reminds me...when do they play next?
