About this vendor
Creative Loafing, September 2009
"The swaying, jazzy, Reinhardt/Grappelli-inspired music of the Bonaventure Quartet is a rare treat, and this group does an amazing job of capturing that era. With former Atlantan Amy Pike on vocals, this is a perfect combination"
-James Kelly, Creative Loafing

The Bonaventure Quartet provided the musical backdrop for our 1920s style wedding and reception. Young and old alike enjoyed the band and their selections were perfect for our theme. The crowd actually audibly and happily sighed when we started our first dance song, it was so beautiful. If you are looking for a band that is timeless and unique, this group is for you. My only critique comes in understanding their song list. If you are unfamiliar with django music and old time instrumentals, brush up on these AHEAD of time so that you have a starting point for creating your playlist.
very acomodating
Our musicians were very professional and very easy to work with. When we were choosing our ceremony music, they provided us with recordings of the quartet playing the songs! The music was beautiful during the ceremony.
