Since opening in the first part of the 19th century, The Bond 1835 has welcomed people from all walks of life, whether they are embarking on an adventure, celebrating their wedding day, or enjoying a relaxing weekend. Over the years, it has been renovated and curated to maintain all of its historic charm while providing a base for couples and their loved ones to commemorate a once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

At The Bond 1835, you and your partner can expect to find a gorgeous, comfortable, hassle-free venue where you two can say "I do." It is the perfect place to be throughout the wedding journey, whether it's the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, or farewell brunch, staffed with a fantastic crew dedicated to your happiness. You can take your loved ones on a journey through the Finger Lakes region by swapping vows as a two-hundred-year-old forest provides a picturesque background. From there, guide your family and friends by the rustic benches and arbor to where they will celebrate your love under the twinkling stars of the Big Apple skies. The venue can accommodate wedding parties of up to 100 people, while a team with over 30 years of hospitality and event planning experience makes every moment memorable.
Living in Luxury
You, your partner, and 12 lucky guests will get to stay on-site at The Bond 1835 throughout the wedding festivities. Every room comes equipped with refrigerators, Keurig stations, vanity mirrors, toiletries, luxe robes, and so much more. In fact, with superior gel memory foam mattresses and incredibly soft, organic sheets, getting out of bed at all will prove to be a tricky task. The Bond 1835 is also a pet-friendly venue, so why not take your furry friend on a road trip to celebrate your magical day with you? - Corey Bond-BaumanOwner & Wedding PlannerI first stayed in the stunningly beautiful town of Skaneateles a little over nine years ago when my daughter & I were on her college-visit-trip at Syracuse University. Ya know those feelings of "love-at-first-site" and "immediately feeling at home"? Felt them right away. Fast forward a short 18 months and I was a mom with two kids in New York (one in NYC and one at Syracuse). No way was I going to live in California - an entire coast away. Coincidentally I was also looking for that next career. You can see where this is going... In January 2018 I purchased an 1835 home operating successfully as a bed & breakfast. The minute I walked in the door I could see the possibilities! With years of hotel background and even more of meeting & events management experience, this was a natural next chapter. After getting the keys in late April 2018, we jumped into the huge task of renovating every inch of this historical home. The vision was to keep the charm and update the out-dated. We removed old carpet, finding original floors, scraped wallpaper and found amazing old beams.... Our guests will now have air conditioning and heat with their own controls, electrical has been replaced and each of our five bedrooms now have an ensuite bathrooms. Small details like reclaimed brick floors & shiplap in our breakfast room, all new tile in each bathroom, and lovely outdoor space will hopefully make your stay a little more beautiful. Next, we are dedicated to partnering with our Skaneateles community. We use local organic produce & dairy, breads from the best bakery in town, and decor from our favorite in-town shops. With all this said.... what are we really in this for? The guests - meeting all of you and offering a superior place to stay. We just celebrated our EIGHT YEAR anniversary on July 12 and we have had a little over 10000 guests. We've enjoyed each and every one of you :) If you have any requests, any little thing at all, please let us know. Nothing makes us happier than a happy guest.

Wonderful get-a-way!
We stayed at The Bond 1835 for 4 nights while we explored Skaneateles and took day trips to the other Finger Lakes.

were greeted by Jessica, who is so friendly and an amazing cook. Our breakfast, coffee, tea, everything you need was freshly prepared and delicious! She even went above and beyond to make mine gluten free!
The grounds are delightful including a wooden bench swing hung between two beautiful trees in the front. The rockers on the porch are front row seats to the amazing sunsets.
The nights were still chilly enough to start a wood fire in the fireplace, just perfect!
