The Bordone LIC is a premier event venue with unparalleled indoor and outdoor space in Long Island City. The venue offers you and your guests panoramic views of the Manhattan & Queens skyline, including the iconic Queensboro Bridge. It is available for a wide variety of large gatherings or small intimate affairs.
Facilities and Capacity:
Our venue has two unique and spacious event floors to choose from. The Main Space & Outdoor Terrace and Penthouse Rooftop can be rented together or separately. We include a fully equipped kitchen for your caterer and two bridal suites to get ready and relax in.
Services Offered:
Our staff has experience in hosting ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, elopements, and rehearsal dinners. Our professional event manager will be present on-site all day to ensure a stress-free day. A doorman will greet all wedding guests and direct them accordingly and proficiently. The Bordone LIC does provide couples with a list of recommended vendors for basic rentals, florals, catering, lighting, and live entertainment.
Private site tours are provided for couples to check out space.

The Bordone is an absolutely BREATHTAKING venue. We looked at a few other venues in Brooklyn and Queens before we saw the Bordone. As soon as we stepped out onto their large terrace facing midtown Manhattan, we were sold. The venue is a clean, blank slate that you can decorate to your taste, but honestly, not much is needed because the view speaks for itself. Throughout the planning process, Mary was very easy to work. She was prompt and patient in responding to our (many, many) questions. And Hector, the venue coordinator working the day of our wedding, was an absolute treasure. He was friendly and cheerful and calmed my nerves before our ceremony. Our guests loved being able to go out onto the terrace to take in the NYC skyline and have raved about it. The indoor portion of the venue was spacious and well maintained. The two rooms for the bridal suite were great to have as well – we used them to relax as guests were arriving. We would definitely recommend the Bordone to all NYC couples!
The Bordone was THE PERFECT VENUE for us, hands down. Both myself and my (now) husband are from New York, but have been living on the West Coast for the past 5 years and to have the NYC skyline as a view for our wedding meant THE WORLD to us, and it is drop-dead GORGEOUS! Our family & friends still tell us to this day that they loved the venue (we got married May 2023). And because you have the view, we didn't need to focus & spend too much on decoration because honestly, the view says it all, and we had 2 floral free standing arches during our ceremony with the city in the background.
With many wedding venues, you're typically given a specific timeframe that you can have your vendors load and a specific time everything has to be out by. But with the Bordone - we literally had the whole day from 9am to 2am (the next day). It was SO HELPFUL to have the timeframe that we did because we didn't have to stress out about timing as much.
We worked closely with Hector and he is amazing. He is so friendly, helpful and upbeat - he truly is a gem. If you get to work with him, you should take the chance!
The Bordone is an absolutely STUNNING venue in the heart of NYC. The views of the Queensboro bridge and the Manhattan skyline are unmatched, and I loved the fact that it was located in Long Island City - close to great restaurants for Friday/Sunday events and nice hotels within walking distance. Mary was also super responsive over email, and Hector was incredible during the day of our wedding! Overall, people were coming up to us during our wedding telling us that we had chosen the best venue ever. We would definitely choose the Bordone again!

The Bordone was one of the only venues we considered, and as soon as we discovered it, we knew it was the one. From transparent pricing and flexibility around almost all vendors, to Kimberly's responsive and friendly attitude in working with us from start to finish, The Bordone was a great place to host our wedding. Our guests were dazzled by the views of the city skyline from the terrace and the city lights all around once dark fell. We also loved being able to use the upper terrace for some pre-wedding photos with our bridal party and got some truly special shots of the Queensboro Bridge, which holds special significance for us. One of the features of this space is that it's a blank canvas, but the kitchen came with a number of amenities that saved us money, and overall we found that this allowed us to control our costs and decide where to splurge versus save.
We switched our venue to The Bordone LIC after our 2020 venue fell through, and it could not have worked out better for us. The views and the space are stunning on their own, but it's also a raw space so you can bring things in to make it your own. Kimberly and Mary were responsive and accommodating. We were able to go back to the venue 2 months before the wedding with our planner for a walk through which was easy to schedule. When we had questions about hanging things, everyone was responsive and clear. The venue has some of the best views of Manhattan I've ever seen, and LIC is a great little pocket of NYC many of my local and out of town guests alike had fun exploring.

If you're looking for a venue that screams "New York City", The Bordone is the one for you! It was the first venue we visited and we only had to visited a few more before we knew it was the one. Its breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline are unparalleled and makes you feel like you're right up close. Everyone I worked with (Mary, Jules, Kimberly) were all fantastic. I had to postpone by a year due to the pandemic and my new date fell in peak season so I did have to pay extra but they honored the rate from 2020, which still saved me a lot of money. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly with their help and I couldn't have been happier, dancing with friends with the sparkling city lights right outside. Keep in mind that The Bordone is a raw space - I had a very specific vision for my wedding so I was looking for a blank canvas that I could decorate to my taste and the Bordone fit that bill. However, with the stunning skyline as a backdrop, you don't even really need to do much to make it an unforgettable evening!
We had the most beautiful wedding at The Bordone. We were married right before everything in New York City became locked down, and Jules and Mary at The Bordone were so generous and kind in the midst of the uncertainty. We knew as soon as we visited that it was the perfect venue for our small cocktail wedding. Because of the pandemic we had a few last minute changes to the wedding itself, and Jules was able to work closely with us and our wedding planner to help make the day as smooth and fun as possible. I loved The Bordone! Not only was it a stunning venue (those views cannot be beat!) but Jules, Mary, and James were a dream to work with. They were super responsive, let us explore the space multiple times, communicated with our wedding planner, and let us store our DIY decorations there the day before the wedding! I would rent the 5th floor again for an event and highly recommend the space to any engaged couple. The wedding was gorgeous!
