h being a huge music family with a ton of special requests, the band was able to honor those requests and was truly better than we could have ever imagined. This band is truly the BEST!!! Our wedding guests have all stated it was the best wedding they attended and the band was incredible. They have such a good setlist of all genres and go from one song to the next to keep the party going. They are high energy and so fun! I felt like I was attending a concert just for me!!! e set list and flow of the music. The band was super tight and the sound was amazing. The dancing didn't stop once it started, and several of our guests said it was the best band they've ever heard at a wedding. We were slightly nervous about not having much control over the set list, but Ryan assured us they know what works and they were right. Every song hit perfectly and helped really amplify the party atmosphere and dancing. I was waiting to hear one song I was really excited about, and they played it as the last song in a way that made it even more special and memorable. One of my favorite parts of the night! Also, they learned our first dance song which was a more obscure song, and it was so great getting to have our first dance played live. If we have a future party with live music this is the first band I would turn to! Don't hesitate to book them- I feel so lucky we got them for our wedding!

It's worth noting that Ryan is also fantastic in the lead up to the wedding -- he was always responsive, communicative, and accommodating of what we were hoping to accomplish in terms of the run of show and music. The guitarist was more than willing to accommodate our less conventional ceremony song choices, and there was not a single issue with the run of show on the day of the actual wedding. We cannot say enough good things about the Boston Renditions, and would recommend them ten times over.

On the day of the wedding, Boston Renditions worked with us to perform at our wedding ceremony and the reception. The whole day was perfect. They made the ceremony as magical as we hoped. Our first dance and family dances were wonderful and were the ideal way to kick off the party on the dance floor. The band had the perfect blend of family favorites, wedding classics and dance floor hits. We had so much fun, especially at the end of the night when the band was blasting dance floor hits, and everyone was dancing and singing along. Boston Renditions Band brought the energy that we were looking for and kept the dance floor busy all night. We knew the evening had to end eventually - but they made those last songs count. They really put on such an incredible performance, and we couldn’t imagine working with anyone else.

Ryan and the team were so easy to work with throughout the process, from our introductory call to talking through the set-list and our first dance songs to personally checking in on us throughout the evening to ensure we were having a blast.
We let Ryan know that our guests would really get down with the 90s and 00s bangers on their song list and they did not disappoint - in addition to playing the classics for the older folks.

really wanted to work with vendors who were great to work with. Working with the Boston renditions was exactly that - an extremely positive experience from the very beginning. Ryan was communicative, organized, and had the most fun ideas for our big day.
We were also able to see the BR perform in Boston about 5 months before our wedding. The entire band treated us like VIPs this night - coming up to congratulate us, share how excited they were for our big day, and even played us Love Story (as they know I love Taylor Swift, talk about knowing your customer!)
Ahead of wedding day, Ryan was incredibly organized and walked us through every detail and how we envisioned our day. He is a true professional and had some great ideas when we needed inspiration.
On wedding day, we used the Boston Renditions ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music services. Every aspect went exactly as planned - and even better than we could have ever imagined. Ryan was a great MC, and the entire band kept our entire wedding on their feet for the whole night! The dance floor was PACKED! They played the BEST songs, and even let us come up and sing with the band at one point. Even on their break, they made time to take song requests from the audience.
We received so many compliments on the Boston Renditions from our guests and would recommend them to anyone looking to hire them for their next event. We even had a Berkeley school of music professor at our wedding who shared it was one of the best bands he has seen in a long time.
My only regret is because of how much fun we had on the dance floor, we forgot to say goodbye to the band at the end of the night!

We loved that The Boston Renditions are a band and DJ combo, and they were actually able to help us out with setting up A/V equipment for our ceremony in addition to playing the wedding! This seems like a tiny detail, but was a huge relief (my husband and I have been to too many weddings where we can barely hear the ceremony). They tee'd up our ceremony music perfectly and followed the ceremony with a beautiful acoustic set for cocktail hour. Ryan was so patient with my detailed requests (I have a background in musical theatre and I produce photo shoots for a living, so I had a really specific idea of how the "production" of the event would go, and he executed the plan magnificently).
