The event staff is approachable and on top of all correspondence; they operate seamlessly, are attentive to details, and are just good at what they do. Our wedding experience with The Bowden was phenomenal.

At my wedding, my grandma had an accident and fell and the bowden staff went above and beyond to help her and put my family at ease. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

The Bowden, the employees, and the lovely day of coordinators worked so hard to ensure our day was perfect. Our family and friends enjoyed the tasty food, great drinks, and dancing the night away! e bridal and vendor coordinators Jennifer and Cindy for the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding. All of these women were so responsive and helpful - they did anything they could to make the planning process easier on me. On the day of the wedding, Jennifer and Cindy made everything flow seamlessly. Any issue that came up was taken care of before I was even aware. They were so professional and a joy to work with. A few of my friends were wedding planning at the same time and watching them coordinate all the things the Bowden has in house made my planning experience so much lower stress than theirs. I wouldn’t change anything. Book the Bowden you won’t regret it!

Cindy and Jennifer were very helpful and worked well with the month of coordinator I brought in myself as well. Between all 3 of them my day was smooth sailing and I never had to lift a finger or had any stress! I also wanted to mention the food, so many of my guests expressed how good it was and that it was some of the BEST wedding food they have ever had!! Overall, The Bowden helped bring our wedding to life and made it more perfect than we could have ever imagined!!

The bride and groom's suites were perfect for getting ready, plenty of space for large bridal parties and a hair and makeup team. Jennifer and Heather were the absolute best, answering all of my super-detailed questions with patience. If you want a best-in-class wedding in Keller, book the Bowden!

guests felt like the bartenders had a bad attitude the entire night and there was always a line for the bar - an option to add a second bar would have been nice. They also ended up being very pushy for money, which was unfortunate and left a bad taste in my family’s mouth. The day was perfect, though, and well worth it.

e were others interested in the same date. I arrived at the venue the next morning and was rudely told the date had been booked for months and no one would have told my planner that it was available. I was also asked in a very condescending way if I was aware of the prices for the venue. Originally we had planned on having a cigar roller for our wedding. This information had been conveyed to the venue at the very beginning of our discussions . The venue reached out one week before our wedding that a decision had been made to not allow cigarettes or cigars on the reception patio due to the possibility of destruction of property. Although the venue eventually agreed to allow for cigars on the reception patio, this is not something I should have had to deal with one week prior to my wedding. After our wedding, one of my guests made a call to inquire about the use of your facility for her nuptials in 2022, and she was not informed that there would be no smoking on the patio. I also had several issues with the venue's Day of Coordinator. She was not helpful the day of the wedding and caused various issues for my planner throughout the day which in turn took my planner away from areas that needed her attention. And, she continued to let guests into the chapel through side doors although I had made the decision that if my guests were late they would watch the ceremony from the lobby. We also had problems with one of the bartenders. He was rude to my guests, and would barely dispense alcohol. I paid for an open bar, and my guests should have been able to drink as long as they were not over-indulging without him harboring the alcohol. And, to top it off, he closed the bar 15 minutes early. I was actually in line to order my husband a drink, and had been for several minutes. When I finally made it up to order he replied the bar is now closed. I had to go locate the venue’s day of coordinator to rectify this. The lights in the entryway of the ballroom were turned off before we made our grand exit. Also, as previously agreed upon the venue did not provide buckets of sand to diffuse the sparklers, rather, gravel which made it hard to put the sparklers out. Staff members kept telling my guest to ensure the sparklers were out in the buckets not the ground because they would charge us for any burn marks on the sidewalk. I feel like my experience with the Bowden was degraded because I didn't fit their idea of the "ideal bride" because I am a black bride. These feelings arose from my experiences with their Coordinator and remarks made by the bartender.

od. Working with Heather, Frances, and Jennifer was a blast. I definitely recommend doing a same-day rehearsal if you have a bridal attendant. It is definitely worth the extra money. Thank you to the entire Bowden team for making our day special. 💜

Bowden team is phenomenal and so accommodating especially with us having to move our original wedding date due to the ice storms. I wouldn’t change a thing about this venue and it’s team! They are perfect!
