The Box is a wedding venue with a modern and industrial feel based in Milwaukee, WI. Located in the city center and featuring an abundance of Cream City brick, The Box feels like pure Milwaukee. The open-concept floor plan, large windows, polished wood floors, and soaring ceilings create a beautiful blank canvas that to-be-weds can tailor to any vision. Whatever your taste, the building’s neutral palette will allow you and your partner to fill the space with your personality. This versatility applies to everything from catering to lighting. The Box runs its own bar service, and couples can work with the venue to customize a package that meets their needs. This contemporary, industrial space provides a beautiful backdrop for one-of-a-kind celebrations. The 3,500-square-foot space can accommodate up to 200 guests, and the venue’s skilled staff can work with you to arrange a floor layout that’s just right for your special day. Couples can hand pick every element of their celebration. However, The Box also houses a selection of recommended vendors, including caterers, florists, DJs, and lighting specialists, to assist clients with their choices. The venue can provide event planning services to help couples with the practicalities of curating their dream venue, and event staff and equipment rental are also available.

e evening) and was so helpful. Pricing was fair and transparent, but more importantly, it was flexible. We could use whatever caterer we wanted, except you did have to use their bar. They have many options/add-ons, and if you didn't want theirs, you could bring your own or get them from elsewhere. I would host another event there in a heartbeat!

They totally understood the vibe that we were going for, and knew how to handle the logistics. Jamie B. did hand off our wedding to Jaime L. without telling us, which resulted in a little confusion about a month before the wedding – but it all worked out in the end! We were in good hands either way. As an added bonus, The Box has so much of their own décor on hand that we barely needed to bring anything in to complete the look. The Box has the perfect interior, with classic finishes (wood flooring, Milwaukee's famous cream city brick and exposed ceilings), which created such a beautiful backdrop for our wedding and complimented our décor perfectly. Jaime and Jamie were great to work with, very responsive and helped us overcome any hurdles we ran into. sional planner/Manager I have ever seen. I was appalled at the way she treated both the Bride and Groom's family. Even more so the way she treaded the catering vendors. Their staff refused to clear plates off of tables after the dinner. The mother of the Groom actually started walking around clearing tables! It got so bad that my Assistant, who also happens to be my fiancé, felt the need to start clearing tables as well so the mother of the Groom didn't have to. As far as amenities there is only 1 bathroom stall for women, and one for men. There was one garbage can in the hall, and back by the bar they just put open garbage bags on the floor. Food, and garbage was falling out of them onto the floor where people were walking. If that wasn't enough, Jamie decided that she no longer wanted to deal with the complaints that she was receiving and walked out not even half way through the reception. I feel absolutely terrible that the Bride and grooms family were treated the way they were. On a day where they should be celebrating the marriage of their children they were left frustrated, and in tears because of how the management treated them. As a member of the service industry it is our job to do anything possible for the people we are working for. In the end they are our employers., and To see someone handle their their job with such disregard for their customers was disgusting. If you are looking for a venue I highly suggest you go elsewhere.
