We just had our wedding at the Bradford this last weekend and it was everything we could have ever dreamed of. I felt like they genuinely appreciated us as clients (and gave us some wonderful gifts!) which was amazing since I know they have so many events every year. The girls (especially Lucy) were amazing to work with, very responsive and adapted to our plans and always allowed us to chase our vision for the day (no matter how crazy the idea was). It is absolutely the most stunning venue in North Carolina (we travelled across the country to get married here!) and would recommend it to any and every future bride. The best part of the venue was their flexibility with options. They didn't have any rules about where you HAD to have the ceremony, which direction you had to face, etc. which I found with a lot of other venues. They were completely open to new ideas which was something I was hunting for. Overall, 5 stars for The Bradford!

he couples, is extremely responsive and willing to answer any questions, no matter how silly. The grounds are so well maintained. Even on a cold December day, the trees and flowers are stunning. The venue and their staff worked to accommodate all our requests. There is ample "getting ready" space for the wedding party. It is also one of those venues that, with no decor, is stunning. As someone who does not have the best "eye for design" some venues we toured were intimidating because you have to bring in so many decorations to make the space look full and beautiful. But not The Bradford. The venue alone is the decorations and not needing to worry about additional decorations (and the cost) was such a relief! I would recommend this venue to any couple looking for their perfect wedding!

hing you might want of a Provençal estate but in the US. On top of that, the venue offers not only space to get ready, and have the ceremony and reception all in one place, but overnight stays. One of the biggest pluses for me was that there was a good rain backup plan (especially since I got married during Hurricane season). The venue seems to be routinely making improvement to keep it up to date and gorgeous for couples. We elected to get married on the side lawn which was great because not only was the grass astroturf (therefore no heels were sinking while walking down the aisle) but theres a gorgeous fire place that can easily serve as an altar. The Bradford also provides a list of recommended vendors that you can choose from (but aren't required to use) which was incredibly helpful with planning this wedding from afar. I absolutely recommend this venue!

e even though you're still in NC! As a couple who loves greenery and minimalism this venue can create a stunning landscape for a beautiful ceremony and reception without the need to add a lot. The terrace and back lawn in particular impressed us. It has endless opportunities and spaces for beautiful photography, as well. All members of the Bradford team were consistently and quickly responsive to our questions. Not a bad thing at all, but it's good to be aware as you choose a venue that they do have some vendor requirements. This includes rentals, catering, and planner/coordinator. Their bar is also exclusively in house. Our main criticism is that we felt like the goalpost was moved on us after signing the bar contract. We were given the option to either lose 15m of bar time, or pay to add another bar tender to prevent it from closing while they transitioned from cocktail hour to dinner. Given that the bar contract was paid for as a block of time, 15 minutes wasn't an insignificant amount of our block cost. We would have appreciated if they communicated openly to us about this, but instead we heard this from our planner when finalizing details. Overall we feel the setting was perfect for our wedding vision goals and are so happy with how beautifully the day turned out! We are thankful to the team for helping us execute our dream wedding.

st so happened to be the coldest and rainiest day in April. Thanks to The Bradford's strategic layout, we were able to still have a beautiful indoors wedding where guests were able to naturally flow through the main house to the ballrooms. There were also great options for photos outdoors while still being shielded from the rain. The bridal suite is so beautiful and well-suited for for everything the bridal party has to do the day of: getting hair and makeup done, taking pajama pictures, taking getting ready pictures, doing the first look with the bridal party, and just having a great time. The groomsmen also had a fun time in their groomsmen suite, which is decked out with games and is optimal for their getting ready process as well. Staff-wise, the employees at The Bradford are incredibly professional and communicative. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Lucy, Hannah, and Molly who were super attentive and thorough in answering our questions and working with us overall. They were also kind enough to offer for us to come back to the property to take outdoor pictures after our wedding because they knew that getting pictures outside was something we really wanted to do. I highly recommend The Bradford as a venue - you will be working with the most elegant space and enormously helpful individuals!

t it is SO WORTH IT - that extra 15 minute drive into the country is well worth the amazing, private, luxurious feeling you get when you pull into the drive. It seriously feels like you entered a magical little oasis in New Hill that also weirdly feels like you're at a European chateau. I have been to many weddings in downtown raleigh (Merrimon-Wynne) where you hear cars/music/people loudly going by during the ceremony, which is definitely not an issue at The Bradford where you feel like you're in a peaceful little corner of the world. We had an overnight package that allowed me and my bridesmaids to stay the night before and it was SO fun and so worth it - I was able to take a hot bath in the beautiful master bathroom the night before and the house was fully stocked with anything you could need, I felt like I was on vacation it was so relaxing. One thing I feel gets overlooked at a lot of venues is the groom's space - which is not the case here! The grooms space is so spacious and all our guys even commented on how nice it was to have a cool spot to hang out in that day! The bridal suite is stunning and has a great view of the terrace, which was so fun to be able to watch the vendors set everything up throughout the day while we got ready! The team at The Bradford is also so professional and any small or minor hiccups that came up over the wedding process or on the rehearsal/wedding days were handled immediately without any issues. We rescheduled twice and they were very fair and accommodating in our reschedules. Can't say enough great things about this venue!

We were able to get ready in the house and then have our ceremony in the back lawn, our cocktail hour on the patio, our reception in the ballroom and our dancing in the smaller hall. This made the day flow so easily as we didn't have to flip anything and there were both indoor and outdoor spaces for the guests to hang out in throughout the day. The team at the Bradford is organized and communicative and it was a very smooth process from signing day to wedding day.

ingle detail that the staff at the Bradford displayed. The ballrooms are just gorgeous and the venue is just full of beautiful indoor and outdoor photo ops. We also opted for the Friday-Saturday package, which was nice to have the space to unwind in before our rehearsal. And they breakfast was just the perfect amount for the wedding day. Working with Maggie and Sarah over the year of our engagement kept everything so stress-free, and that’s saying something since we planned a pandemic wedding. Our family couldn’t stop saying how absolutely beautiful the venue was and we cannot wait to see the pictures! You will never regret choosing the Bradford for your wedding day:)

It is a very intimate venue, and there are endless ways to personalize the space to tailor it to your style. The house serves as a beautiful backdrop for pictures, and there are plenty of spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, a dance floor and seating arrangements. Also, Dana and co. have done a fantastic job establishing relationships with vendors in the Raleigh area -- each vendor we worked with were super familiar with The Bradford. That makes a HUGE difference. In sum, we LOVED The Bradford-- it was the perfect spot for such a great price. Highly recommend it to brides looking for a flexible, intimate, beautiful venue!

We chose the Friday and Saturday package, so the bridesmaids could all stay overnight, and it was such a sweet addition to our weekend.
