ve, making it impossible for us personally to try anything before the wedding. We just went off of our planners recommendation and I’m so glad we did! We were able to customize our menu completely, and they were able to accommodate all of our guests restrictive allergies. The food was amazing, their plating and overall display of food was so elegant (our guests were raving about the charcuterie!), and above all they were SO kind. The entire staff treated not only me and my husband like royalty, but our entire family too. Just to show how thoughtful this team is - they found me and our husband during cocktail hour with a tray of all the passed apps to make sure we tried them. We got a sleaze board as a late night option (a MUST!!) and they again found us to make sure we tried some. We were so excited the next day to see three giant trays of leftovers with our name on it in the fridge too. I just can’t say enough good things about B&B! I’d book them again in a heartbeat.

Kelly and Emma offered helpful guidance when it came to placing our rental orders and setting the menu and were very respectful of our desire to be budget conscious. One of our main priorities for the wedding was good food, and Bread & Butter definitely made that happen! I also cannot say enough great things about Erin, who was our event coordinator. Our wedding ceremony and reception went seamlessly (way exceeding our already high expectations), and we give Erin full credit for that. She quietly took care of everything - coordinating vendor arrival times, helping the two of us get some alone time after the ceremony, working with the DJ to make little tweaks to the schedule based on what the guests needed, making sure everyone giving a speech was ready to go the second it was their turn, reminding us to eat, and so much more! Having Erin be a part of our wedding weekend was truly such a gift, and we are so glad that we decided to go with an event coordinator through Bread & Butter.

We worked with Emma Robitaille who patiently helped us tailor the menu and serving style over the past year and made great suggestions. The wedding event coordinator, Kelly Franklin, was also fabulous. I don't know what we would have done without her. Since we were not local, it was an absolute asset to have someone handling many of the last-minute details. She was always one step ahead of what needed to be done. She helped put out fires and made sure my daughter was only brought in when absolutely necessary so she can focus on enjoying her day. The weather changed on us and Kelly and the crew brought the ceremony indoors, which was magical. We were so happy to have selected this caterer and would recommend them 100%.

It sometimes felt difficult to get in contact with them, but when we did everything went extremely smoothly. B&B were even accommodating to some last minute additions. Emma was the first person to not only listen to our concepts, but the first to internalize and improve upon them. She was responsive, professional, and always gave us options or reasonable suggestions as to why we would offer one dish over another or serve in a particular way. She helped us build a wedding menu that completely fulfilled our vision and provided our guests with all their dietary, flavor, and nutritional needs. Closer to the big day I began working with Kelly on rentals and final adjustments. Kelly coordinated the entire process, finding the right vendor and support for our needs, while keeping such issues off of our plate during those last busy days before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, the staff of B+B blew us away with their presentation, efficiency, and attention to detail. The venue ownership and staff, in addition to our guests, remarked continuously on- site and after the wedding about the excellent staff and the exceptional food. Of particular note was the addition of the Pu-Pu platter as our late-night snack, which earned rave reviews immediately. Our venue and our photographers were so impressed that they rapidly shared the food and layout on their Instagram pages. At the end of the night, the staff cleanly packaged all our leftovers, which allowed us to eat like royalty for another week. For a reasonable fee, B+B also handled all of our dessert operations, which were provided by another vendor. They supplemented our own serving dishes to create a beautiful display. After the event, and even after all payments had gone out, the staff still went above and beyond to help us locate, identify and return a lost cooler. You really can’t ask for a higher level of service! In summary, Bread + Butter Catering is a professional, quality, culinary experience with extremely attentive and personal staff, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

er Company for our wedding.    We researched all recommendations we received, both word of mouth and well published, and when we came across Bread & Butter’s culinary artistry, vast selection, originality, and the attention to detail, we could tell we had stumbled upon the ULTIMATE choice for a caterer, and sure enough they absolutely amazed everyone in attendance, and in every way possible.    We honestly can’t say enough great things about how phenomenal the food was, and to this day we have friends and family talk about it and tell us that it was literally the best food they’ve ever experienced at an event, let alone a wedding, and that went for the service, as well.    There wasn’t anything they weren’t able to customize for us, and from the extraordinary culinary excellence, level of quality, the fresh and local ingredients, everything was just beyond words.    Between the phenomenal and intimate food tasting they created, the opportunity of working with them throughout the whole process, and us just getting to know them, it was truly the best experience possible. It was like working with our best friends, and having the bonus of them creating the best culinary and overall experience we could have ever asked for.    In the months, weeks, and days leading up to the wedding the team was beyond helpful, competent, accommodating, and absolutely incredible in every way possible, so we ended up additionally hiring them as our day of coordinators, and it was the best decision on top of a better decision we could have made. We honestly don’t have words to express our level of deep gratitude and appreciation for the way they facilitated our wedding and allowing it all to go off with out a hitch, well there was at least one hitch, us.    It truly was the best decision to work with them and because of that choice we will forever remember our wedding as being one of the best times of our lives, and our guest lives, no joke! To anybody who is considering them as a caterer or day of coordinator, do not miss the opportunity. They were hands-down one of the hugest reasons why we and our guests had the time of their lives.

st our intuition a bit when hiring vendors. From the moment we got the initial email back from Kelly, we knew we had to have them. Kelly helped me every step of the way from choosing menu items, rental items (linens, tables...all that stuff), and drinks! We also chose to go with the day of coordination option. This was a must have and probably the best wedding decision we made. Kelly was there for us for everything and even ran out to get our guests hand warmers when the weather was on the chillier side for our outdoor ceremony. But more importantly.... the food is AMAZING!!!! My family has not stopped talking about the food. We opted for family style fried chicken, short rib with mashed potatoes, mac + cheese, and green beans. I always thought I would be too nervous to eat dinner on my wedding day but the B+B staff really made sure we did and checked on us a few times. They served my husband and I a plated version of what everyone else had and we ate everything on our plates and I am so happy we did. I would work with them again and again and again.

You always hear that the bride and groom did not get to eat at the wedding- but this was opposite in our case- Kelly made sure we had a full selection of all hors d'oeuvres we missed while taking pictures and made sure we were fed during dinner. They also packaged up all the entrees for each of us to take home when the night was over (which we promptly inhaled). Look no further- Bread & Butter Catering Co. is the best!

We first hired them for our September wedding at The Portland Company after they were recommended to us by the venue as one of the catering groups that has worked in the space many times and is very familiar with it. We checked out their website and menu, reached out, and got a fast and super friendly response back. After meeting with Kelly, Katie and Josh in person, getting to do a taste testing of a bunch of their locally inspired, seasonal, unpretentious and beautiful samples, we fell in love with everything they're about. So we not only ended up hiring them to cater our reception, but we also jumped at the chance to hire Kelly for day-of coordinating services and for the team to cater our rehearsal dinner the night before! Over the next 16 months they went above and beyond to make sure we were organized, helped us coordinate with many of our other vendors, kept us up to date on all the seasonal changes to the menu and let us make special requests for what we'd offer our guests, and made sure we (and our parents) weren't stressing out. The weekend was more than we could have dreamed of and was full of amazing food for us and all 185 of our guests thanks entirely to Kelly, Katie, Josh and the whole Bread and Butter crew. Working with them was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding - they go above and beyond for their clients and I can't recommend them enough!
