n preparation for my wedding and provided inspiration photos in advance. During the appointment, the styles I requested were either dismissed as difficult due to my fine hair or were executed in a way that did not resemble the inspiration photos. The twists were secured with a single visible bobby pin on each side that began sliding out immediately, and the half-up style was held together with a small elastic and lacked the polished finishing techniques I expected from a bridal hairstylist, which also gave me visible bald spots. To give the ponytail "volume", the stylist used her own claw clip to pin it up. The most disappointing part was that I could not wear either style to my bridal shower immediately following the trial because they were already coming apart. I ended up having to adjust and restyle my own hair before the event. When I reached out to express my concerns, I was told that the issue was essentially a matter of personal preference and that the purpose of the trial was to determine whether we were a good fit. My concern, however, was not that I simply disliked the style. Had the hairstyles been professionally executed and secure but not matched my personal taste, I would have accepted that. Instead, I felt that the quality and durability of the work did not meet the standard I expected from a bridal hair service. To the company's credit, my wedding-day deposit was refunded promptly when I chose to cancel. However, despite sharing photos and explaining my concerns, I was denied any refund or partial refund for the trial itself. Brides invest significant time, money, and trust into finding vendors for their wedding day. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling disappointed, unheard, and without confidence in the service I received.
