ed AT ALL. I got to try on every dress on my list, many more than once. My consultant, Bushra, was wonderful and attentive. And she even picked out some I wouldn’t have picked myself that I ended up LOVING. I had a few more appointments set up at other bridal salons, but canceled them immediately after visiting the Bridal Room!

and I loved my experience. It really felt like the stylists were working with me to find a dress that fit my vision. On my first visit, I narrowed my selection down to three finalists, and then my mom came in from out of town and I made my final selection. The dress I ended up picking wasn’t one from my wishlist and was a pull by my stylist. I didn’t love it on the hanger, but trying it on I knew it was perfect. The stylists were incredibly transparent about price during the whole process, and the alterations on my dress were incredibly well done (multiple other vendors complimented the work on the day of!). The stylists also were inclusive and cool about referring to my nonbinary now wife who uses they/them pronouns, and remembered me and my venue/other details about the wedding between appointments (even when I saw different people) which was a nice touch. The whole process was as streamlined as possible and wonderful. I already have a friend who has made an appointment to try on dresses as well and I’d recommend it to any bride.

out the whole process. The atmosphere in the shop itself is very cute and the staff is very nice. I was able to come back a second time to try on a few dresses I was choosing between so I knew I had exactly what I wanted. I used their in house seamstress and although it was a bit pricey my alterations turned out great. Even when I had some questions about the alterations process I received a prompt email detailing answers to all of my concerns. I was a bit confused about the sizing so don’t be afraid to speak up and ask about why they recommend a certain size.

nd I’m so glad they told me about this gem! The store offers an intimate, beautifully-decorated, and well-lit salon to try on dresses! I worked with Lisa who was awesome! Lisa had a great idea to order extra lace from my dress that I could use to make a custom veil that matched my dress and it turned out so beautifully! She did such a great job pulling dresses based on the style in my “wish list”, and even when she pulled some fun/different dresses, I’m so glad she did because she had such a great eye! She also took the wedding venue, my body type, and overall style of the wedding into consideration when pulling dresses. She was such a delight to work with and the other consultants I spoke with on the phone were always so helpful. I absolutely loved my experience at The Bridal Room; 10 out of 10 would recommend to other brides looking for a salon with knowledgeable and kind consultants with a great inventory!

went in with one dress in mind and and ended up in the perfect opposite dress I never knew I wanted. Lisa was phenomenal and her accent is just the cutest. She was patient and supportive.

of trying on clothes. BOY was I wrong. First of all, I loved everything about the salon once I was there. The experience was intimate and personal. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that people were excited for me and wanted me to be comfortable. My stylist turned out to be the owner, which I didn't know at the time but in retrospect made so much sense- Heba was PHENOMENAL. My mom still comments on what an incredible customer experience it was. She had pulled gowns based on the online profile they had me create, then had me pull a few more once I was there. As I started trying things on, Heba did a fantastic job of helping me clarify what was working and what wasn't. While she did encourage me to try on some things I hadn't thought I would like, she also picked up right away on what I was responding to. I would have purchased my dress on the spot, but I had made an appointment at a second salon that day. Frankly, the second salon experience was nowhere near the quality of The Bridal Room, which solidified my choice! I went back to the salon to officially purchase my dress by myself and while I was prepared to simply have my measurements taken and had over a credit card, the stylists still wanted me to have my "say yes" moment. It was so sweet that everyone wanted me to feel celebrated! I felt incredible about every aspect of the shopping experience and highly recommend the thoughtful and professional stylists at the Bridal room!

efore I arrived, and my consultant was so amazing. I really appreciate how she kept me at the forefront of the entire process. Narrated what she was doing and always asked for my consent before trying to help me in and out of the dresses which definitely wasn’t the case everywhere. And I found the perfect dress!

NoVA area. I ended up setting up appointments with two different boutiques, but my experience with The Bridal Room was above and beyond what I could have expected. As soon as you walk into the space, you just feel so special and welcomed, just as any bride should feel. The consultant that I worked with was very friendly and I felt like she was really listening and getting to know me and the style of dress I was looking for. After purchasing my dress, the communication with the shop throughout the time the dress was being created was always very clear and I never felt like I was lacking information on my dress. I did end up also working with the team at The Bridal Room for the alterations, and their seamstress was amazing. The timeline was exactly what was predicted and was finished on time.

appointment, because I was not exactly sure what I was looking for, I felt very overwhelmed with the amount of choices of wedding dresses generally, and I was not confident I would find something I liked. The Bridal Room was the very first time I tried on wedding dresses, and although I attended other appointments that day, the dress I ended up choosing was one of the dresses I tried on at the Bridal Room. None of the other dresses I tried on compared to the one I loved at the Bridal Room, and the customer service was unmatched. I worked with Bryn, who was amazing. She helped me pick the perfect dress and made me feel absolutely beautiful and confident in each of the dresses that I tried on. Bryn asked me a lot of questions about me and my fiancé and had even looked into our venue, and was able to make suggestions based on the ambiance of our venue. Bryn chose several dresses from my wishlist, let me select a few dresses off of the rack, and then chose a few dresses for me based on what I liked. She really helped me pinpoint my bridal style and what I liked in wedding dresses- the dress I ended up choosing was one that Bryn selected for me, and I could not be happier. I highly recommend the Bridal Room.

ridal Salon was not pushy, they showed me plenty of options, and let me stay half an hour past the end of my appointment slot. I also did my alterations with them. Their entire staff is so kind and easy to work with! They make the process simple and provided regular updates on the shipping and delivery timeline.

Lisa worked with me to contact the designer of the dress I liked to see if the alterations I wanted done to the design of the dress were possible and worked with their seamstress to make sure additional things I wanted to be done for the dress could be done. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with my decision and do anything she could to help me find clarity in picking the right dress. Their seamstress has also been very responsive and very polite working with me on making my vision come true! They are a great store to work with and highly recommend them! :)

She also encouraged me to try on dresses that were different than what I was describing and *of course* those were the ones I ended up loving! Overall such a relaxing and fun experience trying on dresses with her.

have your own area so it feels very private. Once you find your dress you get champagne and your photo taken in their studio! I highly recommend The Bridal Room for your dress!

pointment. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted and she pulled a bunch of different styles (that were all beautiful) so I could find one that fit my taste perfectly. After I bought it, the process was smooth and stress free. I went to my first dress fitting in August (after I ordered my dress the previous January) and discovered I couldn't zip it up! This could have been a very stressful event but their seamstress, Ying, just matter of factly said she would let it out and it was a non-issue. When I came back for my second appointment, it fit perfectly. The Bridal Room seamstress, Ying, is incredible. I had a lot of alterations I wanted to make and she made them all perfectly on the first try. If you want a low stress, supportive and body positive dress buying experience, the Bridal Room is the place for you.

Choosing 'the one' can be tough, but Lisa was so knowledgeable and helped me sort through all of my choices with ease. I never felt an ounce of pressure. I found a beautiful veil and headpiece at the shop as well, and my alterations were perfect (thanks, Ramya!!). I really felt like a bride on my big day-- the dress is just stunning in all of our wedding pictures. Thank you to The Bridal Room for everything!

treated so well and had such a good time. Ramya made me feel so comfortable even with some modesty constraints I had for my dress. She told me to find what I liked and they would make it work. I felt so taken care of. The work she did on the dress to make it work for me was incredible and I felt so beautiful for my day!

f them financially. I didn't get my credit paid to setup the appointment and didn't realize until I got the email receipt later. The alterations went well and the final product was worth the wait but there was a hiccup at the second alteration appointment leading to a third needed. The seamstress tried to take some shortcuts to not have to alter the dress as much that didn't work out. She tried to argue with me into not fixing it and the consultant had to tell her to do it. Either way, I had to pay to have the shoulders shortened twice because she didn't take it in enough the first time along with the sides. It was turned around quickly as it was fixed by the next day but the experience at the second fitting left a sour taste.

was very kind and attentive to my wishes and needs. I said Yes to my dress late 2020 and first had my pick up for 2021, but because of COVID my wedding was delayed and we had to postpone. The team of The Bridal Room was very understanding and was able to reschedule my fittings to a date closer to the new wedding date. Everything was perfect, until 2 weeks from my wedding, I decided to try on my dress, and I had gained a little extra weight :( and I call the shop asking for help, and not for my surprise, they were absolutely the kindest! They got my in contact with my seamstress Ramya and she fixed my dress in 2 days and it was stunning for my big day!! I 100% recommend this Bridal shop to any bride that cross my path!! They rock!!!

over 8 dresses I would be ecstatic to wear on my wedding day. Grace was an AMAZING stylist to work with. She understood my vision, allowed me to try every possible style on to confirm my vision, and helped me feel so beautiful. The alterations lady at Bridal Room altered my dress in 2 weeks before my wedding, I was so impressed with her quality and speed! It was the silhouette I had envisioned but it was beaded lace, she worked with my color preferences and she had so much knowledge about the fabrics, comfort and overall appearance. The Bridal Room is so comfortable, Jane at the front desk was awesome. I am so glad I found my dress at this wonderful place in Virginia.
