The Bridal Squad

Stuart was a total dream to work with. He came to my wedding venue and did makeup for me, my mom and my four bridesmaids. We all have very different styles and tastes in makeup looks, and he nailed them all. We got a ton of compliments on our looks, and it lasted through a lot of happy tears. He is prompt and very professional. More importantly, Stuart’s demeanor added such joy to the day. He has a genuine warmth that calmed my wedding day nerves and made all of us laugh. I couldn’t be happier that we were able to work together!

Five stars is not enough for Stuart! He did an amazing job at my sisters's wedding this weekend. He was professional and made us all look stunning without looking over done. He made sure to ask about what each of us were looking for and things we did and didn't like, and took that into consideration as he applied our make up. He brought a great energy into the room and the whole getting ready process and was a HUGE part of making the day as perfect as it was!! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a makeup artist, and can't wait for an occasion to arise so I can work with him again!!

Stuart is the best!! I found him here on The Knot and I am so happy that I chose him. He made the entire process a breeze and he genuinely wants to make everyone happy! From the make-up trial to the wedding day, Stuart was fantastic. He was fun, energetic and so so sassy! He made everyone feel comfortable and at home. We had a very diverse wedding party and Stuart gave each of us exactly what we wanted and then some. From the first picture to the last our make-up stayed flawless. Never even needed a touch up from all the dancing and sweating we did. I would recommend Stuart to anyone looking for fun times and professional make up service. I wish I was getting married again just so he could do my make-up!!

Instant connection with Stuart! He was such fun and so awesome at making us look fabulous. Some of us wanted total Glam, others wanted just a touch of color. Stuart did the makeup for the bridal party for my daughter's wedding 6/23/17. Melissa and I fell in love with him at our trial appointments the day of her shower. The makeup he did for EVERYONE was spot on. It was also a humid June afternoon and while we all felt like we were melting our makeup stayed. Honestly I did not have to even touch up and lasted 12 hours! In addition, he is a genuinely nice person and put us at ease instantly. THANK YOU!

You can NOT go wrong getting your makeup done by Stuart. I had him do my makeup and my bridesmaids for my wedding and everyone agreed. He did such a great job that one bridesmaid is even using him for her wedding! Not only does Stuart do an amazing job it is reasonably priced! We all went with the airbrush and now I am hooked. We all got exactly what we wanted whether it was more of a neutral eye or something heavier for the special occasion.

Staurt and his team did an amazing job. They were able to help each of my bridesmaids achieve their perfect look! Some of my girls are more natural as d they enhanced their features without making them feel like they were wearing make up. I would recommend the Bridal squad over and over, and can't wait to use him again for my next big event!

Stuart May & Company get 5 Stars from me. My wedding was New Year's Eve 2016 and I could not have asked for a better make-up artist. I was a 55 year old bride getting married for the first time and was very concerned about my make-up and looking good for photos. Stuart made me feel so comfortable and told me "No Worries", you will be beautiful. And I was. My wedding photos are wonderful! Stuart and his entourage also did the make-up for my bridal party, my Mother, my sisters and nieces. We all had so much fun! Stuart and company are extremely professional and use all the latest make-up techniques. I would highly recommend Stuart and The Bridal Squad. Fabulous!!!

I loved my bridal make up! Stuart made me feel glamorous for the first time in my life! This is quite the accomplishment since I'm over 40 and this isn't my first time at the rodeo. My three Sisters are my best friends and my Bridesmaids. My youngest Sister sustained burns on her face the day before my wedding due to an awful waxing job. Stuart reassured her, covered her burns and she looked stunning. It meant the world that he took such good care of her. I still get verklempt thinking about it! FIVE STARS!!!

Stuart is a true artist. I have never felt, and looked, more gorgeous than I did this past weekend at my best friends wedding. He listened to every want (including MORE fake lashes) and encouraged each one of us to go big. We did. We went big and we looked flawless. The airbrush make-up was incredible. It lasted through sweat, tears, pictures, crazy dance moves, and even a bar hopping after party. When I say that I was more than thrilled, I completely mean it. The Bridal Squad made me feel beautiful, listened to, spoiled and pampered. If I were a bride, I would look no further than Stuart and The Bridal Squad. From start to finish, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had in a wedding.

The experience we had with Stuart’s Bridal Squad was an absolutely perfect beginning to my daughter’s Big Day. Stuart took the time to ask each girl what kind of look she was going for, and his work reflected both her desires and his skills. Each of the girls was beautiful before, providing Stuart with several perfect canvasses, and Stuart and his team transformed them into positively stunning women. The wedding party consisted of seven bridesmaids, two flower girls, myself, and my daughter the bride. Stuart and his team effortlessly made over each of us in a very reasonable amount of time, but never made any of us feel rushed or “less than.” My daughter previously worked with him for her engagement photos and was so pleased with him that she knew right away she wanted him for the wedding as well. He did not disappoint. In fact, he blew us all away with his professionalism, skill, and affability. I would hire Stuart and his team again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend the Bridal Squad!

In a word: PHENOMENAL. Stuart’s set-up was very clean and professional. I was so happy to see that he used many of the same high-end makeup products I use at home, so I knew they would look great and last. AND BOY DID IT LAST. We got our makeup done at 8am and it didn’t just survive – it thrived– through heat, sweat, tears, and everything else that comes with a summer wedding. The bride looked more beautiful than I have ever seen her, somehow simultaneously natural and glamorously elegant. The Bridal Squad did an amazing job of making the entire bridal party look as well as feel beautiful. Not only is Stuart immensely talented, but his general warmth was very comforting on what can often be a very stressful day. I’ve been in a LOT of weddings and had my makeup done many times, and this was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. He was an absolute dream to work with. His talent is nothing short of a gift. Also, he smelled good and let me have some of his gum. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I can't say anything bad about Stuart and his team. I knew when he did my trial he would be perfect for my big day! He was so accommodating with traveling and handling a huge bridal party. Stuart is the best! He did an amazing job making me, my daughter and her bridal party look our absolute best for my daughter's wedding. Stuart is great to work with and he is truly talented. He listens to what you tell him you want and he has a gift for knowing what works on different skin types and different ages. We all looked natural while looking amazing!

Stuart is amazing! He made myself, and everyone in my bridal party beautiful! The Bridal Squad uses high quality makeup that truly lasts throughout the whole wedding (even when you get all sweaty from dancing!) and his prices are incredibly reasonable and worth every penny.

I don't think I could say enough about how much I loved working with Stuart! He did my makeup for my engagement pictures and my wedding and on both occasions, everything was PERFECT! As a girl who doesn't wear much makeup, Stuart really worked with me to make sure I felt beautiful without feeling completely overwhelmed. My family and bridesmaids also LOVED having Stuart do their make up! I was so excited to get my makeup done and Stuart did a great job. We had so much fun and he made me look pretty for my mom's wedding. The makeup stayed perfect the whole night. Thanks to Stuart for making us all feel special and pretty.

I had the pleasure of working with Stuart this past weekend and I must say this is one of the most professional, sociable, caring artists I have ever worked with. Stuart came to our location in Brigantine, NJ and was perfect. He rolled with the punches when additional girls wanted their makeup done, was conscious of our time line and when we had to be ready by and made each and every woman there that day feel like they were the most beautiful one in the room. I must say that if you or someone you know is getting married, in a wedding or going our for a formal event, this is the guy you want. We cannot thank him enough for what he did for us this past weekend and can't wait to work with him again in the future.

I wish there was an option to give more then 5 stars because if anyone deserves it it is Stuart! Stuart came to do onsite make up for us for my brothers wedding. He was prompt, professional, personable, and extremely aware of what each of us wanted for our looks. He had a challenge since we all wanted something a little different (some were comfortable with a lot of make up while others wanted very natural). Everyone was so abundantly satisfied with his work. It is such a special skill to make women feel their best and Stuart does it with such an effortless confidence. I went with the airbrush which stayed in place all day (I never once had to touch up my face just needed to reapply some gloss) , while others went with traditional which also looked beautiful at the end of an extremely long day. I have had my make up done a lot and I have never had a better experience, so ladies book him and don't miss out on the peace of mind of knowing you will look and feel your best!

If I could give Stuart 10 stars, I would. I was nervous about having my makeup done for engagement photos, because I wanted it to look natural, but definitely more than a normal day. Stuart nailed the look. I have received so many compliments on my makeup in those pictures. He did an amazing job! He is also very personable, makes sure you are more than happy, and takes the extra time to do touch ups and make sure he has perfected the look. I could not be more happy with Stuart and his amazing talent!

I never spoke to any other beauty service! As soon as we got off the phone, I didn't need to look elsewhere! Stuart was beyond thorough, had a great portfolio and was extremely professional and responded so quickly via text/email/phone. I met Stuart for my trial, and multiple times he said, it doesn't matter about anyone else - I'm here for you and that is exactly what he did. Stuart checked up on me as the wedding date became closer - confirmed and reconfirmed... Which to me made the process even more seamless. Morning of the big day - I felt like a rockstar. Stuart and Cheryl glammed myself, my bridesmaids and my mom - traveled an hour to our location in Point Pleasant, NJ and got right to it! I never had to worry about ANYTHING! Stuart is honest, and will let you know what he recommends, listens to your opinions, ideas, etc., and just does what he does best! Stuart made me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. My bridesmaids felt the same way. He took his time on each one of us, and made all of us feel so beautiful and special. I never met someone who knew exactly what to do with so many different complexions. I am so happy that I found Stuart, because I truly believe he made my big day more perfect! You are magical!
