er several attempts was an email. I was ok with that. She also confirmed being available for my wedding date on September 4 which I was excited about since two of my bridesmaids recommended her. I show up to our appt, and she’s getting ready to leave. Debbie forgot we had an appt and the entire appointment was rushed, but again, I was patient as I really wanted her as my florist. Follow up phone meeting ended with her sending me updated prices by Friday/Saturday so that I may pay the deposit and secure her services. Monday I follow up, and she replies with “we’re considering taking that week off” and recommended I shop for another florist. After a few email exchanges it’s become apparent that she’s upset that I explored using silk flowers for my bridesmaids in an attempt to save money. Unfortunately with a rushed appointment you aren’t able to discuss in detail how you can save/repurpose funds, and what initially was “I’m considering taking the weekend off” has transpired to “we were negotiating and you decided to go in another direction for your bridesmaids”.
When I mentioned how unprofessional it was to be notified days after my new quote was expected, she replies with the decision was made this morning (big coincidence if you ask me).
Probably best to consider your vacation days prior to telling a bride you’re available/be transparent from the beginning so you don’t leave her in a tough spot. Three less individuals recommending her services indefinitely.
Update: after I left this review, Debbie immediately emailed me a single word: “Kharma” (karma)?? I was open and transparent from the beginning about exploring ways to keep floral costs down. I told her the silk bouquets were to remove that expense from the updated quote, to match my bouquet, and to repurpose that cost for the other floral arrangements we were discussing. I never asked her to provide me with $20 bridesmaids bouquet. Debbie NEVER mentioned my budget being an issue until I left this review. My budget of $500 (said up to $750 was ok) was NOT including centerpieces, but that I was interested in seeing a quote including the smaller floral centerpieces in the event I’m unable to find an alternate centerpiece I like knowing that it would put me well beyond my desired budget. She mentions my budget wasn’t feasible yet she never told me that, and even offered to send an updated quote no later than 2 business days. If you knew it wasn’t feasible, why offer to provide an updated quote instead of publicly displaying it to the world vs privately with the bride during the follow up phone call? Also absurd for her to use “you didn’t pay a retainer” as a defense for her terrible work ethic. No one in their right mind will pay a $500 non refundable deposit without coming to somewhat of an agreement. If you do your due diligence you’ll realize theres a pattern of Debbie treating her budget weddings poorly.
This review has nothing to do with us not being able to reach an agreement as I realize it doesn’t always work out. This review is 100% aimed towards her God awful customer service, and for sending negative wishes to an already stressed out bride. Please consider shopping other small business owners in the area before considering Debbie.

mmodate an originally planned 150 person wedding to an outdoor ceremony for less than 20 people at a different venue. I am still in awe in how seamlessly she captured my new vision for our minimony and knocked it out of the park. We decided we wanted to do an arch for our ceremony and really decorate the reception space to make it feel bright and romantic- she provided a number of options to work with along with new seasonal flowers. I didn't want "traditional" so to speak and was chasing a romantic garden vibe with bright flowers and hints of white while my husband loves greenery and we were able to accent the space with candles- it was breath taking! Planning a wedding is stressful enough and when you have to change multiple times during a pandemic, Debbie provided a level of ease, comfort and reassurance that is priceless. I am beyond thrilled to continue to work with her for our upcoming larger wedding in a years time and would work with her for any future occasion!

th Debbie. My sister's sister in law was also going to work with her for her April wedding, and the second I booked my venue I reached out to Debbie to see if she could be the florist for my wedding. I reached out in July of 2019, she said she was available for my date and that she would touch base with me in January of 2020 to get started and that I could wait until January 2020 to pay the retainer. In December I had still not heard from her to set up a January meeting, so I reached out and she said she was booked until Feb. 22 to which I booked a meeting then. It was a little unprofessional for her to say she would reach out and then not reach out but I just ignored it because I know times can be tough and moved on, however I did ask then for the second time if we needed to put a deposit down. She never replied to this email saying I needed to pay right then and there. Keep in mind I literally live minutes from her and at any time could have dropped off a check. I had something come up and had to reschedule the Feb. 22 meeting to March 17 to which she seemed to have so much attitude about. A week before my meeting on March 17th she TEXTED ME, with saying she was no longer available for my date and that she apologizes that I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW RETAINERS WORK AND THAT I NEEDED TO PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT.
For the record, I asked twice if I needed to pay a deposit before meeting her, it was never an issue and I have email and text receipts of this. Second of all, since I reached out in July of 2019, and have two family members also using her services, you would think that she could have at least reached out saying other brides are interested in your date, and I know you asked me a long time ago, if you do not pay a deposit I will have to give up your wedding date to someone else. That would have been totally acceptable, and i would have paid no problem. But her lack of consideration for anyone else in this situation was alarming and rude. And her rude responses to me over text saying that I didn't understand how retainers work when I was the only one asking about how to pay her is just disappointing. I would not recommend her, it appears she has lack of consistency and gets overhwelmed with her own work and in turn is rude towards brides and brides families. I am shocked and now left to look for a florist when I was under the impression that I had one.

during our first meeting she knew exactly what we were looking for. During our second meeting, we were able to see a sample center piece and were able to make changes if needed. The sample was everything that we had talked about during our first meeting and more! We knew that we wanted some flowers in the ceremony but weren’t exactly sure what they should look like. roses to be used in her hair, table arrangements and a large order of hydrangeas, to be used throughout the ceremony space. Where do I begin, the small roses and boutineers were picked up less than 24 hours prior to the wedding and refrigerated to be only wilted and yellow by the time the pictures took place BEFORE the ceremony and were not able to be worn. The promised tablescape was hardly what was discussed, as you can see one image was the “sample” at the florist and the other image is what the tablescape looked like the night of. There was minimal greenery and not what we had asked for. This was a very special day and we were not going to have wilted flowers (including the hydrangeas,) ruin the moment. Following the event, we had contacted Debbie to let her know about the flowers (see initial email correspondence). Now, not only did she not accommodate a refund for the dead flowers or help solve the situation she sent a passive aggressive RUDE letter to my sister shifting the blame on us not taking care of the flowers properly, which was surely not the case.This is not how you run a business nor how you treat a paying consumer who is not at fault .... I will be pursuing this with the BBB and local media outlets, as this is just not right.

She has an impressive process for consultation consisting of 3 meetings and even a sample centerpiece. We would just recommend that future couples pay close attention to adjustments on the quote; a couple of times we found inconsistencies with what we'd tried to convey. Overall though, Debbie and her team were friendly, prompt, and professional and helped create an absolutely stunning floral presence for our wedding!

wedding, my mom and I decided that was crazy and we should find a florist. I'm so so glad we did! Debbie worked with our budget and did everything she could to help get exactly what we were envisioning. Originally we were still going to do our own centerpieces and just have them provide the flowers for them since we had already purchased vases and rocks for the centerpieces. But after talking to her, she gave us a great price for her to set them up instead and I was so thankful we did that so I didn't have to worry about that on the wedding day! All of the flowers turned out beautifully and I am extremely happy we chose the Bride's Bouquet!
