They were amazing!! This shop was so easy to work with and made me feel so valued. The process of trying on dresses was amazing and they worked with me and got a good feel of what...
I wanted and didn't want.
I bought my dress from The Brides Shop and it was such a positive experience. I had an idea of the type of dress I wanted but was glad they suggested trying on a dress of each styl...
e just to be sure. I never felt rushed and felt like they gave honest opinions. My only small issue was they never called to tell me that my dress had arrived. I had plenty of time so I called a few weeks after the expected date and had been told it arrived two months prior. I also had a really positive experience with the alteration team they recommended. I loved my dress and am so thankful for the help finding it!
5 stars! I loved this place. They made me feel so comfortable and they had an amazing selection.
I’m not even sure where to begin. I don’t think a bride could ask for a better experience. I was helped by Kennan, one of the kindest, most patient, and lovable people I have ever ...
had the pleasure of meeting. Not only did I get to meet this amazing human, she spent hours (seriously. Hours) helping me find the right dress. At one point I had two dresses on so I could envision my perfect dress. She was so insightful and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond what I could have ever expected and is the reason I found my dress. This shop is beautiful, theirs gowns are amazing, but Kennan is the true gem to be found here. I will forever remember her and the amazing experience I had. Go here. Ask for Kennan.
Beautiful dresses within my budget! This was the first bridal shop I visited in my quest to find a wedding dress and, after visiting 8 other bridal shops, I realized they were the...
best. They were very flexible when I needed to make a second appointment and helped me find the perfect dress.
They also have great recommendations for alterations and dry cleaning. Carina Parsons did an AMAZING job altering my dress and the staff at Trailside Dry Cleaning were helpful in cleaning and preserving my dress.
I found my wedding dress at The Brides' Shop. I had a good experience with shopping there and setting up my bridal appointment. It was our last shop of the day and I had found anot...
her dress that I was interested in getting at another store. We showed our consultant the photo and she helped us pick out something that was similar that was even better! I also was able to go through some other dresses and try these on just to be sure this was 'the one'. They referred me to a seamstress who did a good job with the alterations. The timing though was a little tight. I got my dress 6 months after ordering it and took it to the seamstress right away. My seamstress had the dress for 6+ weeks leading up to my wedding date and had to do quite a bit of alterations to take it in and let out certain areas even though I was measured as a perfect 6. I got my dress back 2 days prior to my wedding date (after I said no to picking it up the day before the wedding date). Luckily I wasn't planning on doing any bridal photos prior to the wedding date, but this was still stressful. I would recommend asking about turn around time from when you order it and factor in 4 weeks for alterations to make sure it works with your timeline or find your own seamstress. I thought I wasn't going to need much for alterations but ended up needing quite a bit to make it work.
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE, SPEND IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. Spend it where you know the people truly care about you and your hard earned dollars. If you are a brown bride - BUYER BEWARE...
! First off, I found the dress of my dreams and Rebekah was amazing! BUT the shop recommended a seamstress (Carina Parsons) she altered my dress, did a great job. However I went to South Ogden to pick up my dress(because the shop would not let her meet me there on a Friday). I put my dress in my car and Carina's neighbor starting yelling racial slurs at me and even did a cut throat motion to my bridesmaid and I. I told Carina and was quite upset because her home is her place of business, she or the bride's shop never indicated to me that it was not safe to go that neighborhood. I've never felt so scared or upset in my life and it was supposed to be a happy day for me. I was picking up my wedding dress! Carina said she would talk to her neighbor and called me later that day only to say I'm so sorry about that. She had zero sympathy and I indicated to her that I drove all the way from Orem to Ogden to pick up my dress and for the hassle of being harassed by her racist neighbor and putting my life in danger, the very least she could do was give me a discount on my alterations to make the situation a little better. She said I'm sorry but I'm not going to give you a discount and I'm sorry about what happened. NO SYMPATHY WHATSOEVER! Ignorance is not the answer. I just wanted her to understand the situation because she had the power to make it better but she did nothing. The Bride Shop had the same reply. They recommended her services and have a business relationship with Carina and they could do nothing to make my experience better?! I just dropped $2,000 on a wedding dress in their shop! It was basically a slap in the face, like we don't care what happens to you because it didn't happen to us. BECAUSE OF THIS NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and do not want any other brides to experience the same thing. They do not care about you or your special day.
The shop was cute! The girls were extremely helpful, but I felt like I was rushed into purchasing a dress. I think a lot of girls get excited about dress shopping and are caught up...
in the moment. My dress turned out beautiful, but it was too big and had to have many alterations. It’s hardly the same dress as when I bought it. It also cost a lot more to get extra lace and fabric for alterations, and the veil they tried to sell me on was CRAZY expensive. I passed on that one thank goodness.
I had an amazing experience with the Brides’ Shop. Brooke was completely on board with what I wanted and showed me dresses that were beautiful and in my budget. She also found some...
gems I had missed in the shop and one of them ended up being my dress! The craftsmanship on the dresses at the shop and the quality of the material and construction was some of the highest I saw while dress shopping. Brooke also gave me time to think about my top dress and managed to squeeze in an appointment for me to come in and officially order the dress after my initial visit to the shop. I live in San Francisco, and the shop also happily shipped the dress directly to me, just as promised.
Best experience, large selection, and found the dress!! I went dress shopping at multiple places around SLC and this was by far the best place I went. Very knowledgeable girls help...
ing who understood what I wanted and also helped me to try other things I hadn't considered that were amazing too. Check it out!
I went dress shopping thinking that I had an idea of what I wanted in my dress. They had several options of what I thought I wanted, but I am so glad that I put my trust in the la...
dies at this shop to choose dress options that I hadn't considered. They are very knowledgable about what dresses will make you look your very best and accent your favorite features. They are also very friendly and make you feel comfortable right away.
They are well equipped to help make the dresses fit petite frames, which is something that was so frustrating at other stores.
They also have several veil options in all lengths for you to try on in store with your dress. They were able to help me track down a hair clip at their sister store to match my veil.
My dress arrived in a shorter time than expected and their recommended seamstress was wonderful to work with.
If you want a dress shopping experience that runs smoothly and makes you feel incredibly special, this is the place to go.
There is no better place to get your dress!! I live in Colorado but am getting married in Utah and wanted my family to be there when I chose my gown. We randomly stopped in there t...
o kill some time between salon appointments. The fit me in immediately (I got super lucky on a weekday, I would recommend scheduling an appt) and within 30 minutes I was cancelling my scheduled appointments for the weekend and saying YES!!!! to the dress!
Rebekah and the whole crew were so friendly and attentive. They really made me feel like a queen! The dresses are all designer and so affordable! I was shocked to learn my budget had plenty of options.
The first dress Rebekah showed me after describing what I liked/ didn't like she pulled THE DRESS and the best part was that it was under my budget by $350!!!! I tried it on and completely fell in love. I cried, my dad cried; I just knew it was the one.
The shop is so cute and the bridal consultants are so incredibly friendly. I would recommend all my CO brides to go there! I could not have asked for a better experience!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to The Bride's Shop!
I love, love loved it! They were so friendly! They never showed me a dress out of my price range, which I really appreciated! They made me feel very special!
Really nice atmosphere and Caitlin was fantastic helping me find a dress. I ended up choosing a dress from another vendor just because I liked it better, but the selection is beaut...
iful, the dresses are amazing, and most are reasonably priced. Really nice experience.
Had a great experience finding my dress. I had gone to other stores but never found what I was looking for. They made it very easy and calm, and I found the prefect dress.
These ladies know what they are doing. Wow. I still get goosebumps thinking about the day I said yes to my dress :) They make you feel like the princess you are. Traveled from Colo...
rado and I have told all of my engaged friends to go to Utah to get their gowns. Worth the trip! (P.S. Southwest airlines always has cheap flights to Salt Lake!!)
I loved this cute little boutique shop. The girl who helped me, I think it was Amanda was so nice and helpful and wasn't pushy like most places. She was honest and when I told he...
r my budget she stayed in it. I loved my dress so much. The only probably I had was with the tailors they recommend.
It took me only 40 minutes to decide on a dress at The Brides' Shop in SLC. My consultant took my ideas and what I liked and pulled two dresses for me, in addition to the two that ...
I chose for myself. I tried on one of the consultant's picks first and eventually (less than an hour later) went with that dress. They were all so sweet and helpful and made it a quick and painless process. I only wish I had a need to go back again and again!
Working with the bride shop couldn't have been better. I tried on my dress and fell in love with it. They were so great to make sure that my dress was in just in time to be altere...
d, and ready for our big day.
They were good to check up on me, ensure that I was happy, and always more than helpful. I had a great experience and would recommend them to anyone.
The Bride Shop has a great selection of dresses and the consultants are so helpful and wonderful to work with.
About three weeks before the groomals and about two or three months before the wedding, I still had no dress. A vague idea of what I wanted, but nonetheless, no freaking wedding dr...
ess. I was in a complete panic.
My sister in-law tells me to go to The Brides' Shop - that's where she ended up finding her dress and said that they're incredible. I'm like, "Well... what more do we have to lose other than time, at this point?"
Not only did the super cute girls at the shop not waste time, they had me in the perfect dress in under four selections. They listened to what I was actually going for, listened to what my fiance thought would look best and... VOILA. The perfect dress. And, on top of that, because of time crunch they sold me the dress off the floor, had it altered with time to spare before the groomals, and it looked incredible.
Also, they took a fairly immodest dress and made it temple-worthy and stunning. What more can you ask for? Probably nothing. :)
I purchased my dress from The Brides' Shop about 18 months before my wedding. I live 5 hours away, so scheduling fittings was challenging. When I went for my final one, I found out...
that the shop had sold a couple of months beofre and was under new ownership. The seamstress who was working on my dress was no longer employed there, had my dress with her at home, and had forgotten about our appointment. Yikes! There was definitely some anxiety involved when I found all that out! The sales lady I had worked with initially was still employed at the Brides Shop and was very helpful (if she hadn't still worked there, I don't know if I ever would have gotten my dress back!). Both she and the formerly employed seamstress had a huge amount of integrity and obvious love for what they do. Luckily, I was in town for 4 days, and they worked it out to get my final dress alterations finished for me. They delivered the dress to my hotel at 8 pm the night before I was leaving town. SO, not an ideal experience, but it could have been so much worse. Like I said before: those two employees were obviously honest people and went above and beyond to finish the job they started. As far as the new ownership situation, it seemed like kind of a junk show.
The Brides Shop was my first and last stop! The selection of dresses were fabulous! All designer gowns for all sorts of prices to fit everyones budget! I loved my dress and coul...
d not ask for anything better! I had lost a lot of weight while the dress was being ordered so when I came back for my fittings 7 months later the seamstress made the dress fit me like a glove and you couldnt even tell it was altered...there was a lot of beadwork and it wasnt ruined in anyway! They were so extremely kind and thoughtful! I want everyone to buy their gown from the Bride's Shop!
