I recently had the pleasure of working with Katie Hogan. Before the event, Katie was kind and attentive, answering all of my emails and making sure I was set up for success at my f...
irst event at the Broadmoor as a planner. Throughout the process and on the event day, she went above and beyond to take care of her vendors and my clients. It was obvious that she truly cares about her couples and doing everything she can to make sure they have the best experience possible! Katie - thank you for making my job smooth and fun and taking such great care of my clients!
I could not get anyone to answer multiple emails, phone calls etc. Very non responsive
As expected The Broadmoor met all expectations and then some (or I should say a lot)! Katie Hogan was an absolute legend and her extensive experience in the wedding and event plann...
ing world is beyond evident. Everything was out of this world, and we can't say enough! Not only was the coordination executed perfectly, but many of our guests told us the food was the best they'd ever had out of all the weddings they'd been to. You can't go wrong at the Broadmoor!
My husband and I got married over LDW and took full advantage of all the beautiful and different venues the Broadmoor has to offer. We had an intimate Catholic mass on Thursday at ...
Pauline Chapel, hosted a Friday rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Cheyenne Mountain Lodge, and had our Saturday ceremony and cocktail hour at the Lakeside Terrace and reception in the main ballroom. We were also able to host a men’s golf tournament, women’s pickle ball tournament and cabana pool party. The Broadmoor is truly a 5 star experience. All guests were blown away by the beauty and the professionalism the staff brought to all events. Our Broadmoor wedding sales manager and event coordinator was Katie Hogan, and she was incredible! She was extremely accommodating, changing certain food items on their dishes and wines and beer types from their premium liquor package so that we had exactly what we wanted. She also helped make great recommendations on food changes, linen colors, ceremony chair set up, reception layout, etc. based on her experience planning numerous events. All events truly felt catered and personalized to us. The wedding food was spectacular, we received so many compliments that it was the best food people have ever had. The service was great, and meals were served to the 170 guests almost all at the same time so that no tables were waiting. They were also extremely accommodating for food allergies. We also worked with Candice Gilmore, for room reservations, and cannot say enough positive things. She was organized, professional and very responsive. There ended up being a waitlist for rooms and she followed up with guests via a phone call to let them know when there was availability. She also saved the day when one of my bridesmaids arrived Thursday morning to realize her hotel booking started Friday (vs Thursday) and was able to secure a room for her that morning during a holiday weekend. She made the entire room reservation process a breeze. The entire wedding weekend was a dream, the Broadmoor went above and beyond in ensuring everything was executed perfectly and what you would expect from a 5 star resort. I cannot recommend the venue enough!
There is a reason why this resort is five stars. They were impeccable. I would highly recommend having your wedding here! From day 1, the planning team was responsive, extremely pr...
ofessional, kind, and worked with us on all requests. They handled setup and all the little details. The food was PHENOMENAL! I still have guests complimenting the service. The staff were kind, attentive, and present but not overwhelming. Katie Hogan was a dream to work with! She really made our day unforgettable. She was two steps ahead of the process the entire time, and it made planning our wedding so easy. I highly, highly, recommend having your wedding (and all other events) here!

ains in the background. Ceremony right by the lake and reception on the Mountain View Terrace. Thankfully the weather was perfect as well. I did not want to leave and I want to go back every anniversary! They thought of every detail and staying there is truly luxurious! Katie and Melissa the wedding team were fabulous and worked with my planner Angie from Sapphire Celebrations to make the day absolutely perfect!

wedding. From the second I met them, they felt like friends. They went above and beyond for us and I couldn't recommend The Broadmoor more.

professional, happy to customize to our desired requests and such a pleasure to work with. Thank you for the perfect setting, execution and day!
love- an event planner / bride
We did our reception at the Penrose restaurant within the Broadmoor resort. The place was beautiful, the people were incredible, and the food was fantastic!
We used the Broadmoor's Cheyenne Lodge for our reception venue and couldn't have been more pleased. The Broadmoor is the epitome of what a 5 star resort should be. They catered t...
o every detail we could think of, and their follow through was excellent during the actual reception. Our planner at the Broadmoor was Katie Hogan, and she was EXCELLENT. She was attentive during planning and helped to create a perfect reception. During the actual event, she was a hawk, tending to every detail we didn't need to worry about. All in all, the Broadmoor couldn't be a better venue for a wedding and we appreciate everything they did for us!
Where do I even begin? When My fiancé and I started planning our wedding a year out, l was already set on having our ceremony and reception take place at The Broadmoor. Being a des...
tination for us, I was unsure on how the planning process would all pan out when all of our decisions needed to be made via telephone and e-mail. I couldn’t believe what a breeze it actually was! Melissa, The Broadmoor Catering Manager, was my saving grace through it all. From the beginning, I was so impressed by her passion, professionalism, and customer focus. On the day of our wedding, The Broadmoor staff did such an incredible job catering to our guests and making our wedding day dreams come true. It’s been over a month since our wedding and everyone is still raving about what a fairytale our big day really was! We had our ceremony overlooking the Cheyenne Mountain on the Lakeside Terrace, a setting that truly looked like a page out of a story book. Our Reception took place in the Lakeside Terrace Dining Room which was just as magical. The food was to die for- we had several “action” stations instead of a formal sit-down meal, and it was a huge hit. Melissa and rest of The Broadmoor staff went out of their way to make sure our day was absolutely flawless. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, stress-free day thanks to the incredible staff and beautiful setting!
The Broadmoor is an amazing place to have any event. The staff is nice and accommodating and the picturesque scenery augmented our wedding day.
An absolute 5 star resort. I am convinced this is the best place for a 5 star wedding. I have been in some nice hotels but never have I experienced the level of 5 star service th...
at the Broadmoor gave us during our daughter's wedding. It was absolutely over the top, beautiful and exceptional in every way. The food was delicious, the service from all the staff was amazing. If you have a wedding at the Broadmoor they make you hire a wedding planner. We hired Stephany Knierim and she was exceptional. I would not recommend doing a wedding without a wedding planner. We used 4 of the Broadmoor recommended vendors and they gave the Bride and Groom 2 nights free in the Edith Gaylord sweet (honeymoon suite) ( $6,000 bonus). They also gave the bride and groom a dinner in their 5 star Penrose Restaurant which was another $500 bonus. They treated us like royalty. They sent wine and cheese to our room as well as the bride and grooms room. The whole thing was an absolute dream. We created a memory there for all who attended. The best wedding ever!!
We could not have asked for a more gorgeous venue. The natural scenery was stunning, but Melissa Fike and the Broadmoor staff really went above and beyond as well. They were so gre...
at at accommodating us! They made our wedding cake and custom Texas A&M cookies for us, both of which were absolutely delicious. They even allowed us to fly a Texas A&M flag from the flagpole next to the terrace our ceremony was on! We had our dinner in the Penrose Room and could not have asked for better food or service. Everything was executed so perfectly.

ms in the Penrose Room- the South Cornet for cocktails and the Mid-Cornet for dinner.
The chapel is beautiful and very intimate and was the perfect location for our ceremony. Our guests walked over to the Penrose Room enjoying the stunning lake in the center of the hotel grounds on their way over.
The Penrose Room is lavish and beautifully furnished with incredible Western facing views of the mountains and the lake. The jazz band at the Penrose Room is fantastic, and they accommodated us by playing specific songs for our first dance and father/daughter, mother/son dances. The food and service at the Penrose Room is incredible and was such a treat. I would highly recommend having a wedding at the Broadmoor. Our wedding was an unbelievable, unforgettable and incredibly special.
Even the smallest detail was performed exceptional.
Beautiful venue to host each event and a wonderful place for the entire wedding to stay.
