MADE our wedding and reception! Britteny was a dream to work with in the planning phase. She made choosing the set list and vibe for the reception very easy. She was quick to respond, calmed all our nerves, and answered every question. On the day of, the band blew our expectations away. They were fun, energetic, and kept the dance floor moving the whole night! At one point, there were zero people in their seats (including all the grandparents). Even a bubble machine and some crowd tambourines made an appearance. They also performed our first dance and parent dance songs, which sounded identical to the tracks we sent them. Some quotes from our guest included: “It was like our own personal concert!”, “Banger after banger after banger!”, “I’ve never danced this much at a wedding!”, “It was the perfect blend of Oldies and Warped Tour!” To conclude… Hire The Broken Heels Band!

They were professional and charismatic at the same time. There was no ego, just pure enjoyment of music and having a great time. Our wedding was smaller (70 ppl) and they adjusted to not overpower the space while still having an amazing time. ut them and they had every single person dancing. Most bands do not MC, but they do as well as take care of the music for the entire wedding (if needed) - both ceremony and cocktail hour. They were so flexible and flew out to our destination wedding with a TWO WEEKS NOTICE. I will go into further detail at the bottom of this review - but wanted to write a quick highlight first (it'll be a long read). But BOOK THEM! They are amazing. Their setlist is a great variety of artists and genres - and they are also open to other songs not on it and can add whatever you'd like! They're a 10/10. We are constantly looking at their schedule to see when they're in our area so we can see them again. We love them! My husband and I had a destination wedding in the carribean. We had originally booked a band local to the island about a year in advanced. We've seen them on the island many times, and originally thought it would be easier to manage vs flying out a band from the states. Fast foward to three weeks before the wedding, after lots of communication and no issues, that band let our coordinator know they would not be performing at our wedding with no real explanation. My now husband and I randomly decided to go to Proof22 the night all of this unfolded - and without knowing a band was performing there - The Broken Heels Band! They were incredible (as always) and I decided to reach out to them to see if they were available and potentially open to performing and flying to the carribean with such little notice. To our luck, and what our families now call fate, they somehow were and were all on board! Brittney got back to me the very next day. Her communication is amazing and we somehow figured out a plan - flights, stay, and all - not to mention our wedding was on a private island and fairly complicated to get to, within two weeks. They made such a stressful time in wedding planning so easy for us! We still cannot believe that this all happened and we are forever grateful for Brittney and the rest of the Broken Heels band. They were truly such a highlight to our wedding day and will be one for yours too! I recommend them to everyone I know in hopes of attending another wedding with The Broken Heels Band.

r wedding day. We wanted to have a concert and dance party and oh, my, goodness, we got so much more. Every single person at our wedding danced. We will be seeing The Broken Heels play at nearby venues long long after our wedding because they are that good. The whole band was so kind and made us feel so welcome and special. Brittney also made the planning process so fun. We can't thank Brittney, Seth, Francis, and Degan enough for making us feel like rock stars. We had an odd request to make a mash-up between Father & Dather by Paul Simon and Radio Gaga by Queen. Something we thought was impossible. But the band took the request openly and it was absolutely EPIC. If you are looking for a band for your upcoming wedding, please please use them. You will not be disappointed. To quote my aunt whom I had never seen dance until our wedding, "Loved your band. I knew every song".

They were so flexible and accommodating when it came to last minute changes due to weather, and when our original ceremony piano player got Covid and had to pull out, The Broken Heels saved the day and DJ'd our ceremony and made every transition SEEMLESS as if we had planned it that way all along!! They really brought the energy and got us all dancing, shouting, clapping, and jumping!! It was a circus wedding so we had a lot of planned performances and The Broken Heels were the perfect way to compliment each act, including our special bride and groom fire dance! We can't thank The Broken Heels enough for rocking it out and making our wedding a magical night to remember forever!!!!

t it. I am not exaggerating in the slightest. Every single one of our guests made this comment to me after (most fun wedding), and I entirely agree. They have both male and female singers, so they switch when it is appropriate to the song, and the playlist they have is so diverse it did hit all age groups very well. Brittany makes the booking so incredibly easy and arguably enjoyable. The document they send walks you thru what songs you need and when, and if you hire them for the ceremony, they are very flexible in learning the songs you pick. The best part is that they let my husband sing a song (watermelon sugar!!) to me, and they even planned a practice time for him the day of. THEY made our wedding fun. I did not have to fight or drag people out onto the floor at all. It made for such wonderful bonding memories, young and old were up and shaking it :). Sure, they are more expensive than some of the other bands, and absolutely more than some guy with a playlist and speakers (DJ's), but it is such a game changer. The reception is over half of the event, and the positive energy they created is worth all of the extra cost of some recordings and flashy lights. I would make that decision 100 times again. My husband is a musician and can hear the subtle differences in technical music variances, and he gave them an astoundingly strong approval after listening to their wedding playlist. Their timing, tone, and rhythm were perfect on all the songs, as you can hear in their trial video. They knocked it out of the park, it is like having a personal concert that plays all the songs you like lol. The music volume was perfect, people could still talk comfortably and it didn't make your ears hurt when you were standing close to the stage. They have perfected their craft and I wish I could get married again next year just to relive this part of the fun :). HIRE THESE PEOPLE!! YOU WILL LOVE THEM.

They learned a couple of songs for us, including a not very well known song that was our “first dance” and they absolutely nailed it. And then, the party really started and they rocked it! was so incredibly professional and helpful. She walked us through curating the soundtrack of the most amazing day of our lives. She offered to help keep the timeline moving on the day of the event, and she did so with professionalism and experience that made us as the bride & groom, and the whole wedding party feel completely at ease. Now for the actual performance. The Broken Heels are a group of insanely talented musicians who know how to put on an unbelievable party!! The dance floor was packed all night long, and our guests were having what was such a clearly incredible time, that two of our best friends surprised us with buying an extra hour of their time, because nobody was ready to stop dancing. Brittney had actually told us this would be an option ahead of time (another example of how she prepared us for everything), and had our friends not done it, we would have!! The band was so accommodating and willing to keep the party going. We have had countless guests reach out to us with rave reviews about The Broken Heels, and we cannot recommend them more highly!!

ll they were incredibly attentive and helpful and our night wouldn't have gone nearly as smooth as it did if it weren't for them. They arrived early to set up speakers for our outdoor ceremony, MC'd our entire reception, and then put on an absolutely amazing performance. I never thought I would see my 90 year old grandmother dancing to Fall Out Boy, but thanks to The Broken Heels that's now something I can cross off my bucket list. Every single person at the wedding made sure to tell us how much fun they had dancing and how much they loved the music. One of my friends even joked that he would need to get divorced just so he could get re-married and hire them as his band because he now regrets not having live music at his reception. If you are considering having live music at your wedding you need to hire this band. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and I'm still getting compliments on how amazing they were.

Brittney was super attentive through the planning process and made the entire wedding seamless. They brought so much more to the table by MC'ing the whole night, providing sound equipment and helping keep us to our schedule with the ceremony, reception, speeches, etc. We couldn't recommend this band enough! They kept our dance floor full and on top of that they are just great people. Go with The Broken Heels for your wedding, no question!

he Broken Heels quickly became our favorite. They are a 5 piece band that will rock harder than any 10 piece band, at a cost that will actually make sense for your budget. If you want a band that will deliver a high-energy dance party, this is the band you’ve been looking for. The Broken Heels rock all the hits from the 60’s through present day. Our favorite part of their repertoire: the extensive list of hits from the 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s. As a couple born in the early 90’s, this band stole our hearts by playing all our favorites from our childhood. We also requested “The Bones” by Maren Morris for our first dance, and they learned it with no issues and absolutely NAILED IT! Every member of the band is a professional musician, and they all bring an immense amount of talent to the stage. They play the iconic hits with perfection, and they also know how to rock. The band leader, Brittney is absolutely amazing. We simply cannot say enough about her - professional, prompt, talented, and enthusiastic. She is kind, fun, and so easy to work with. We changed our wedding date twice, and The Broken Heels were able to make the switch without a problem. With increased safety measures for COVID-19, they remained professional and understanding of all the changes. Our “micro-wedding” was an absolute party because of them - our guests still haven’t stopped raving about them! You need this band for your wedding!
