I first visited The Brooks at Weatherford for a wedding in 2020 and couldn’t get this beautiful venue out of my mind. Flash forward to this Spring 2024 when I had my own wedding here. This venue is gorgeous! It has that natural beauty both inside and outside. Both the chapel and the reception hall have clear screens which make the spaces versatile for unpredictable weather and provides couples a peace of mind. The staff at TBAW were kind, clear, and prompt with all of their communication throughout the planning process. I highly recommend this place for new brides & grooms!!
Beautiful venue& so easy to work with!
The Brooks is such a beautiful wedding venue/reception that is extremely well kept. All of the brooks staff are extremely helpful and professional. The whole process was easy and exceeded our expectations and more. 10/10 recommend the Brooks as your wedding venue!!
The Brooks provided the perfect venue with its open Chapel and Venue. Additionally, the staff were attentive and always available to help with any questions.
Amazing wedding venue! We had our wedding here in September 2022 and it was a dream come true. The staff was super friendly and helpful throughout the planning process, pre-wedding visits and night of! Our wedding of ~100 people fit perfectly here. Both the chapel and reception space were great and the grounds are absolutely picturesque. Really a great space and a great team. We highly recommend!!
The people at The Brooks are the sweetest! They were so easy to work with when it came to wedding planning and the day of. We are so glad we used this venue. Highly recommend!
I don't even know where to begin with The Brooks!<3 Their venue and their team was everything we could have asked for! They helped make the planning process so easy and welcomed us out there to the venue any time we asked. I did my bridal portraits there and the beauty was so easily captured inside and outside. Our family, friends, and guests were all blown away by the beautiful chapel with the cross on stage. The reception easily held all 250 of us and accompanied for all of our vendors' needs. They had the fireplaces lit for us which added to the romantic November evening! Every inch of their venue is so incredibly beautiful and elegant and it was a dream come true to get married there!
The Brooks was so amazing and they made our whole day perfect! Best venue hands down! Beautiful and everyone was soooo nice!!

Beautiful Venue for the Prefect Fairy tale Wedding!!
We are beyond happy with this venue. The teams communication with us through out the process, the owners are so personable, and not to mention how BREATH TAKING the chapel and reception is. This venue has so much character to it, that we barely needed decorations. The chapel was speechless when I first saw it and so elegant. You have to take a look at the brooks in your venue search
This venue is what dreams are made of. My husband and I fell in love with this venue, and never saw it in person before booking it due to planning from out of state, and it met all of our expectations. The chapel is just gorgeous, and the reception space is beautiful and flexible in how it is used. I loved that I was able to get ready onsite, and my groom and his guys had a blast in the groom’s room watching sports. The sound system in the chapel is a blessing, and the outdoor patio and fireplaces really helped bring our winter wedding together.
Of note - I was so glad we had a coordinator there day of to help bring the vision I had discussed with her to life, and would recommend it in a heartbeat. The Brooks does provide someone to oversee your day – but a coordinator helped this to be more personal, and someone who could navigate all of our vendors according to our vision versus just the logistics. When we initially arrived the floor plan was wrong based on what we had sent – but my coordinator and the Brooks worked together to correct it in time for the celebration.
I would absolutely recommend booking at the Brooks!
The most magical wedding!! Everything about The Brooks was a dream come true! I fell in love with the venue when I first toured; the chapel is gorgeous, as is the manicured lawn, fields surrounding, and the large reception hall. I love the outdoor fire pit, and the two fireplaces on site. Even more importantly, the staff and owners are so nice and easy to work with. They are all warm and inviting and were extremely helpful, especially during this stressful time with COIVD. We used all of their recommended vendors, including our day of planner, which made everything even simpler. The day itself could not have been any better! Set up, rehearsal, ceremony, and cleanup all ran very smoothly. I have had so many friends and family members comment that The Brooks was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they have seen, and I truly believe it. I'm so excited to receive our wedding photos because I know they are going to be gorgeous! I cannot recommend this venue more!!
Attend a beautiful wedding earlier this summer. Weather was hot so I was surprised that the chapel was open air. The reception was air-conditioned and was the event space was gorgeous! I was appalled when two of the event staff started blowing out candles and removing the table decorations an hour and a half before the reception was scheduled to end. It distracted from the bride throwing her bouquet to see staff walking across the dance floor with vases full of flower and candles in their arms to the open storage closet by the DJ booth. I've been to many wedding and banquet type events I've never seen the decorations removed in the midst of the event.
The venue was absolutely breath taking, all of our guests were raving on our beautiful the venue really was! Even with the wedding being in the summer, there was always a nice breeze coming through the chapel. The bridal suite was so much fun to get ready in. You can really tell the owners out so much thought into every detail into The Brooks. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride and groom to be, I will absolutely remember this place for the rest of my life!
Because of The Brooks at Weatherford, my wedding dreams came true. I got married on July of 2019 at 12 in the afternoon, and even with the Texas summer heat, the venue was not too hot for me or my guests. The breeze through the chapel made for a perfect outdoor/indoor wedding. The reception area was beautiful, and also just what I needed for my 200-250 guests. The grass in the field was also still very green and perfect for pictures. I loved also loved the owners, they reflected Christ's love to us throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend anyone to have their wedding at the Brooks.
This venue is so beautiful and the perfect place to get married. I had a great experience with everyone that I dealt with throughout the wedding planning process.
I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about the Brooks! The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and made my husband and I's wedding day one of a kind and truly unforgettable. Tricia and her staff were so helpful and on a day with a few crazy and random rain storms, they calmly helped adjust the schedule and chapel to be perfect. They made sure everything went off without a hitch and I am so thankful and blessed that I was able to get married here. We just love The Brooks!
I could not have chosen a more perfect venue than the brooks at weatherford! November 1st was the most perfect day! Tricia and her husband are wonderful to work with and guests are still calling me to say how beautiful my venue was! Blessed beyond words to have found this place. I want to do it all over again!
Tricia and Steve built The Brooks at Weatherford with our wedding day (and maybe yours) in mind. The weathered-door chapel, the beautiful grounds, the winding path for the bride to walk to meet her father and then her waiting groom, the stone-castle-meets-wood-barn reception hall complete with bridal party and groomsmen's ready rooms, patio with fireplace, it is just a dreamy location. Both the chapel and the reception hall are fully air-conditioned, but the sides of the buildings also roll up and disappear so you can have the outdoor wedding you want without the worry of bad weather and a plan B. Genius! The property is kept in pristine condition, and Tricia or Steve and a facilities manager are on site for your entire event in case you are in need of anything. We had a fantastic day. In addition to the beauty of the place, Tricia will give you a list of her vetted vendors so you will know that everything is going to go smoothly and there won't be any unwanted surprises - awesome!
Trisha was an absolute pleasure to work with and the venue was stunning. An must for any rustic-chic bride!
Kyle and I had a dream come true wedding at the Brooks at Weatherford April 20, 2018. Everything about this venue is beautiful, masterful, and truly a piece of art. We looked at about 8-10 venues all over dfw, and the Brooks was such a great choice. The Brooks is popular, so being on a 6 month timeline, I wasn't surprised that the venue was booked all Saturdays from like March-July! At first I sighed and continued to look for other venues, but my mind always went back to the beautiful white chapel. I'm SO glad that we considered a Friday wedding because it allowed us to expand our options. (also Friday weddings rock because we got to hang out with everybody on Saturday too! There's a great 18 person air bnb nearby that we made our home base for getting ready and had a pool party there the day after). Tricia and Steve are completely marvelous, not only in the planning but on the day as well. They calmed us before walking down the long path to the chapel, they helped drive a golf cart for our grandmothers to get to pictures on the knoll, and helped our day of planner with her needs. Wow I could just go on and on...Tricia even came down during my bridals and it just meant the world to me to have her encouragement and sweet words, especially since my mother wasn't there!
The chapel is serene and makes for a great backdrop for a Christian religous ceremony. I'm sure it's great for less religious ceremonies too, but if you're looking for that spirit filled church like feel without actually being in a church, The Brooks delivers.
The grounds have this long pathway to walk to the entrance which is super fun and you feel like a princess walking down with everyone looking for you.
We did an outdoor cocktail hour, weather was a breezy sunny and 70 and clear skies (not even making this up!). We had an accoustic guitarist for cocktail hour who plays at the brooks frequently-Andrew Sullivan. Highly recommend! We then had our super fun reception in the lodge on the property. A fireplace and candlelight made the space feel so intimate. We did do a large floral piece on the mantle and cafe lights, but truth be told the venue truly doesn't NEED anything more. it's breathtaking without a ton of decorations.
This venue, this family, is truly one of a kind. The time and attention to detail on the grounds is so noticeable. From the plants to the details on the doors to the incredible bride and groom suites, even the BATHROOMS are immaculately designed. So many rustic venues in the area have folded tin hammered haphazardly to the walls or christmas lights dangling, poor lighting, or weird old western accents. The brooks doesn't. Yes, it's more rustic than a ballroom or mansion. But I felt that the vibe was almost more fairy tale/lodge than farm house/barn.
I am so thankful for Tricia, Steve, and the Brooks. It was the best day of our lives. Pay them a visit, be open to a Friday or Sunday wedding (because Saturdays are probably gone because this place rocks), and if you choose them, I promise you'll be a happy bride!
Wonderful location nestled 25 minutes from the heart of downtown Ft. Worth. Once you enter the gate of this property, you will fall in love with it. From the chapel, to the reception building, to the pond with bridges – there were a plethora of locations to take pictures. Guests couldn’t stop telling us about different aspects of the venue that they loved. The owners, Steve and Tricia Heflin, were available throughout the planning process to help us bring our dream to reality. Tricia was onsite throughout the wedding day to oversee the festivities and make sure her team provided top quality service to us.
I cannot say enough great things about the Brooks! Tricia and Steve were both so nice to work with and make sure all the details were taken care of to make our wedding the best day ever! We had a blast and just loved every detail in the venue. The chapel is beautiful and such a unique setting with the sides rolled up, and the reception hall is gorgeous! We would relive our wedding all over again if we could!!
If you are looking for a cozy, secluded, private, gorgeous venue then this is the place for you. This location was everything I could have dreamed of and more. It was just beautiful.
You really have to see it for yourself. It was the perfect location. Not only that, the staff were amazing to work with. Tricia was so sweet and helpful through the entire process and Deanna was amazing the day of. She was so helpful and attentive. I can't thank the Brooks at Weatherford enough for such an amazing and perfect day.
This site is so dreamy and magical! Once I saw it I couldn’t ever dream of having my wedding anywhere else. Tricia and Deanna are great communicators and will do everything to make your wedding day perfect. A little pricey but worth every penny if it is in your budget!
The venue is simply beautiful! Communication was easy and it is worth every penny for those memories and PICTURES! As a bride, the thing that made it the best, was the gorgeous walk with my father to the chapel with my groom in the distance. All the windows were up overlooking the pond and all my guests were able to have a nice breeze during the ceremony. Cannot say enough good things!
Went above and beyond to make our wedding super special!
I can't say enough about this AMAZING venue. Not only was it the most picturesque place to get married but the owner and support staff are some of the kindest, warmest women I have ever had the pleasure to get to know. They were always quick to respond by phone or email and truly made my wedding everything I could hope for.
By the time I found The Brooks, I had already looked at many other venues. I wasn't a Bridezilla, but I had a particular vision in mind for our wedding and just wasn't finding it else where. I wanted rustic elegance, something that represented my husband and me, our love for Texas, country music, etc., but that also took your breath away with it's beauty. That Brooks is just that!! I can't tell you how many people during and after our wedding that told me it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever seen. The chapel is absolutely stunning!! The reception hall is a beautiful combination of wood and stone, much more versatile that just a barn. Gorgeous fireplaces throughout. Half of our 150 guests were from out of town so we called it a Fort Worth destination wedding. Not one person complained about the drive because when they go there, it was worth every minute!
What I also loved about The Brooks were the owners. This is a family owned and operated business and they make you feel special leading up to your big day. They were flexible, communicative, responsive, helpful. We pushed our venue budget just a smidge for this venue and it was the best decision we made. (helpful hint for any venue...get married on a Friday or Sunday!)
Go see The Brooks!! You will not regret it!!!
The venue was beautiful and I loved the inside and outside accommodations. The owners were really nice. I would give it 5 stars but when we did the tour we were told specifically that the sides of the ceremony hall would be rolled down and the AC blasted starting early in the morning and then the sides would be rolled up 5 minutes before and that way when you had your ceremony it would be cold for your guests even in the summer. This was ideal for a September wedding. On the day of, the sides were up and the space was hot for my family as they decorated. We asked the staff about it and they said they didn't know who had told us that but it wasn't true and the it takes 45 minutes to roll up the sides and they wouldn't recommend it. The day ended up being 80 and the sun was covered an hour before our ceremony began so we were lucky and it wasn't too bad. But if the circumstances hadn't been perfect we would have been in trouble which is what we were paying the extra money to avoid.
The place really was beautiful and is well maintained, but it is a lot of money for the backup plan to not work.
The Brooks is a beautiful wedding venue, with a quaint open-air chapel and a rustic open-air reception venue. Tricia & her husband Steve designed the venue and put their heart into each wedding they host! They thought of everything in the design - a bridal suite with a huge mirror and plenty of outlets for getting ready, a beautiful flowing brook, and multiple areas for fires. Working with Tricia was incredibly easy. She was responsive, full of helpful ideas and tips, and incredibly caring about my wedding experience. She made my wedding wonderfully stress-free, and her venue made it BEAUTIFUL.
If you are looking for the picture perfect Texas wedding venue, The Brooks at Weatherford is it! We were lucky enough to stumble upon this brand new venue earlier this year and were thankful to grab one of the last available dates for 2015! Tricia & Steve Heflin are a treasure to work with and they have built an incredibly beautiful wedding chapel and venue that will surpass all your expectations. The attention to detail, from the architecture of the facilities, to contracting, and making sure the bridal couple and family receive the top level of service, made this special day a memory to cherish for a lifetime! The option of having an "open air" chapel, based on weather conditions, along with a beautiful rustic elegant venue and authentic Texas meadow setting, was just like out of a movie set! Our bride & groom, along with wedding guests, were blessed by having this special wedding day at The Brooks at Weatherford!
Words cannot express how absolutely incredible The Brooks is! Let's start with the owners, Steve & Tricia, who are the sweetest, most helpful couple. Christ shines through them. Tricia woo'd us when we took our first tour with her kind personality and she wrote us letters throughout the whole planning process. Steve was so hospitable and I am still in awe of his incredible architect skills. The chapel and reception hall are a unique, one of a kind piece!
We had both our ceremony and reception at The Brooks. The ceremony was held in the stunning, vintage, open-air chapel. I've always wanted to get married in a chapel or outside...and this gave us the best of both worlds! The sides are completely open which gives guests the most perfect view of the brook cascading into the pond and the bride's walk down the gravel path to the front doors of the chapel. The front of the chapel has huge, beautiful windows which give you a great view of the green scenery and blue skies. It was over 100 degrees the day we got married, so it was definitely hot having the sides open, but the beauty was so worth it.
The reception hall is outstanding. It has a very rustic, yet elegant feel. It also has the option to go open-air, but we chose to keep it closed because, you know, Summer in Texas ;) The bar is awesome, the bridal room is like out of an interior design magazine, and the intricate details of everything blew everyone away. Even the bathrooms are amazing!
We had the most spectacular wedding day! It was full of beauty, full of joy, and, and full of love. I recommend The Brooks to anyone and everyone! I couldn't imagine a more perfect wedding venue.
When I first stepped foot on the property to view this venue, the reception building was basically bones. The chapel was the only thing fully up (for the most part). Everyone thought I was crazy for booking a place that was not completely finished yet. I absolutely fell in love with the place and the dream Steve had in how this would turn out. I could see exactly everything Tricia was explaining to me as we walked through the floor plan talking details. Fast forward to wedding day, it was absolutely breathtaking. Steve and Tricia were so wonderful throughout the entire process. Tricia was so sweet and informative, while Steve was the mastermind behind the entire place. I loved having them be an active part of the wedding day. You guys were wonderful! Definitely recommend booking ANY event here. Your guests will rant and rave about the beautiful place. Mine still do!
The Brooks at Weatherford is absolutely stunning. When we first found this location, the reception hall didn't have any walls or a roof up, and the chapel wasn't much better. But the owners, Tricia and Steve, showed us the designs and explained to us their vision. They were so friendly and personable that we decided to take a risk and book the venue. This was the absolute best decision we could have made. The venue is both rustic and elegant, which is the exact style we were looking for. On our wedding day, the venue was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. The sides of the chapel were open, so during our ceremony we had a nice cool breeze blowing through. It was wonderful. What made this venue even more special though is the people who run it. Steve and Tricia were so helpful throughout our wedding planning process. We came out to the venue several times, and Tricia always met us with a smile. It was never an "inconvenience" to her. I would recommend this venue to anyone! We loved it!
My daughter and her fiance' booked this venue today for their wedding in May 2015. The place is not finished yet but it's going to be amazing! Can't wait!
My fiancé and I had heard about the Brooks from a family friend in New Braunfels, TX. After hearing the owners names, Steve and Tricia Heflin, my fiancé was like “I know them, I used to go to Church with them!” Anyways I called tricia to set up a time we could come take a look at the facility. My first impression of tricia was nothing short of wonderful! She was bubbly, excited, and thrilled to answer any and every question that I had. And considering at the time of our call, back in April, they had only broken ground on the venue, I had a lot of questions! When we got to the Brooks, we were greeted by Tricia and Steve. They welcomed us into their home, which was super convenient because it was located directly on the venue site. We literally chatted about everything from our professions, to cookies, and to our parents. We felt right at home. There wasn’t much to say about the venue in May because literally all they had done at that time was lay the cement, but 4 months later, it is STUNNING. You can’t just take my word for it, you have to look at their Facebook page. www.facebook.com/brooksatweatherford They have been working so hard to make the Brooks something like a fairy tale. Steve assured us it would be done by our november wedding and its literally almost finished. After we toured the facility the sweetest part of the whole visit was the prayer. Steve, tricia, my fiancé, and I all stood in a circle and prayed for the Lords hand in our marriage, their venue, for Steve and Tricia, for future couples getting married there, and tricia even prayed for my father who had been diagnosed with cancer a week prior. (side note, he is now cancer free!) Austin and I are so excited and thrilled to be the first couple to get married at the Brooks. And we can’t thank the Heflins for building our fairytale venue and being a lovely couple to work with. :)
