We had our wedding at The Broz this fall, and we could not be happier with our experience! Ryan and Jenny were so flexible and caring, and it’s clear they truly know how to run a wedding venue. Jenny and Tina were also incredibly kind, patient, and understanding with all of my (sometimes many!) emails, which meant so much to us.
We received countless compliments on how beautiful the venue was. Honestly, it needs little to no extra decorations—it’s naturally stunning on its own. We’re so excited that this gorgeous space has found the right owners, and we can’t wait to see many more couples enjoy their perfect day here too.
A huge shout-out to Tina, our day-of contact and ceremony coordinator. Right as our ceremony was about to begin, the rain started. Tina came up to me calmly, offered different suggestions, and helped us navigate the situation with ease. The team even opened the bar half an hour early so guests could grab a drink while we waited it out. Once the rain passed, the Broz team quickly wiped down the benches and got everything ready so we could start. We are so grateful for everything Tina did to make our day run smoothly.
We also rented the lodging rooms, which was such a great decision. Having our bridal party stay with us the night before and the night of made the whole experience even more special. And the heated bathroom floors? Such a perfect touch!
We highly recommend having your wedding at The Broz. Whether you’re from New Prague or traveling in, your guests will be absolutely wowed, and your wedding photos will be nothing short of amazing.
I loved everything about The Broz! So many places for pictures, everything is so beautiful that decor should be minimal, the bridal suite is incredible. Deb was super helpful! So glad that we had our wedding at The Broz!

The building at 212 Main Street West in downtown New Prague was commissioned in 1898 by Wenceslas Broz, who hired a young architect named Cass Gilbert. Gilbert went on to design the Minnesota State Capitol, the Woolworth Building, and the United States Supreme Court. He started here, with what became the finest hotel in Minnesota. We restored it and reopened in 2025 as a wedding venue, a Prohibition-era speakeasy, and an eight-room boutique hotel under one roof. The wedding dress from the very first ceremony in the 1890s still hangs in the foyer. We kept it there on purpose.
What that gives you is a wedding that doesn't end at midnight. Friday rehearsal in the Grand Ballroom with cocktails in the Speakeasy after. Saturday morning in the bridal suite while the room sets itself behind you. Ceremony on the outdoor lawn for up to 300 guests, or inside under soaring ceilings and crystal chandeliers. Reception and dancing in the same building, with a late-night second wind in the Brick X Lounge. Your wedding party walks upstairs to Hotel Broz instead of driving to a hotel at the end of the night. Everyone you love stays under the same roof from rehearsal to checkout.
The Broz holds up to 300 guests, more than most venues in the area can seat. Five named spaces: the Grand Ballroom with soaring ceilings and crystal chandeliers, the Brick X Lounge with lounge seating and converted whiskey barrel tables and stools, the Prohibition-era Speakeasy with hand-painted stained glass preserved from the original building, the outdoor lawn and patios under café lights, and the eight boutique rooms of Hotel Broz upstairs.
Every rental comes with our staff, setup and teardown, a dedicated event coordinator from booking through the wedding weekend, liability insurance, and free on-site parking. Most of what you'd otherwise rent separately is already in the building. Dinner is through Hostiva, our in-house caterer, and we're open vendor for florals, DJ, photography, and the rest.
Run by the three people who restored it: Ryan, Jenny, and Tina. Not a chain, not a franchise. Forty-five minutes south of the Twin Cities, year-round. Pricing starts at $3,000, full weekend packages from $11,900.

Ryan and Jenny reopened The Broz in 2025 after years of restoration. Jenny ran a successful wedding decor company for 17 years before turning to venues, with an eye for what makes a space feel layered, soft, and quietly elevated. Ryan is a builder and craftsman by trade. Between the two of them, every corner of The Broz has been touched, considered, and brought back with intention.
