They went above and beyond to accommodate our guests, which meant so much to us.  What truly set them apart was how effortlessly they worked alongside our other vendors. It felt like they had been producing events together for years — everything flowed, communication was smooth, and the entire evening felt easy.  The Brussel didn’t just cater our wedding — they helped define it. Our guests are still talking about the food… and so are we!!!

d the food was DELICIOUS! Really 10/10. They tailored our order to exactly what we wanted - a fall-themed menu. We had turkey cranberry sliders to start, among other things, and even an apple cider donut bar to end the night. When they say custom catering, that is really true. The Brussel will make whatever you ask for! I highly recommend Emily and her team - the service was seamless and everything went so well. They even had the cutest vintage china setup for the plated meal!

onal staff. Our meal choices were lavender fried chicken, maple glazed salmon and ribeye. The ribeye was what you would expect for a wedding steak. I wish we went with the prime rib which was at our tasting, that was really good. But the chicken and salmon were amazing! Would highly recommend the lobster roll appetizers! Also, amazing. Would absolutely choose them again!

Not only were they so amazing to work with but the food was incredible!! My guests keep mentioning how delicious everything was and my husband and I loved everything we ate throughout the wedding. We found The Brussel here on The Knot and quickly were intrigued. The pictures and reviews were all amazing. So we took the next step of doing a tasting... and enjoyed everything. We ended up using The Brussel catering for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. The BBQ for the rehearsal reminded me of being in the south. True, delicious, feel-good, can't get enough food! (The cornbread and mac n cheese... no words for how tasty!) For the wedding we had such a huge variety of food! For our passed apps we had beef skewers, toasted raviolis with marinara, mini loaded baked potato skins, and mini chicken street tacos. For the entrees we had "Marry Me Chicken", Carved roast with au jus, and a vegetarian pasta dish. Rice pilaf and cheddar and chive mashed potatoes for sides. Roasted and seasoned mixed veggies, etc. We then had a massive mini dessert bar with tons of variety including mini cheesecakes, mini woopie pies, mini apple crisps, along with many other things. Then we also did "late night bites" mini pizzas. From apps to late-night bites... the food was just divine! Every single guest that we talked to made a comment about how wonderful the food was and how they could not believe it was "wedding food." Guests also really liked that they got a full plate of food and were able to feel full! People who wanted seconds were able to get them, which is very rare at weddings (in my experience). Separately, the waitstaff was just so caring! I said from the very beginning that I was going to be a bride that ATE at her wedding. I remember telling Emily and her sister this during one of our calls and how important it was for me to get to enjoy all of the amazing food. Well, their team made sure I ate!!!! They kept visiting me and checking on me and delivering me my very favorites. One waitstaff even delivered me an entire little plate of the mini loaded baked potatoes because she saw how much I enjoyed them. I could seriously go on and on about the quality of Emily's food and the wonderful service! We HIGHLY recommend and hope to use The Brussel for future events!

I reached out to the Brussel based on them listing an entirely GF menu on their website and they were extremely helpful, professional, and timely with all our correspondence leading up to the wedding. They made the most amazing food for our cocktail hour and dinner!

The entire team was very professional and showed great care in making all the details perfect. And the food was amazing! Every single dish was great, from stationary appetizers to passed appetizers to the dinner buffet - everyone at our wedding found something to enjoy. The Brussel is also very allergy friendly and had a lot of gluten free, nut free, vegan, etc. friendly options that didn't compromise on flavor. We would recommend The Brussel to anyone looking for catering services.
