The Bryan Museum is such a beautiful place to host your wedding! Absolutely stunning grounds and the conservatory is just like getting married in a jewelry box! It’s one of the most beautiful and unique venues in the Houston/ Galveston area. Peter is such a delight! 10/10 recommend this venue.
We had our wedding at the Bryan Museum in March of 2022. Peter, Jessica, Richard, and the Museum team were great to work with. They were always professional, responsive to emails, and accommodating to our needs throughout the entire process. On the weekend of the wedding, they were incredibly helpful and our wedding truly exceeded our expectations.
The Bryan Museum was the only venue I looked at because I knew I wanted to have my wedding there as soon as I visited and took a tour. My husband and I love Galveston, and the conservatory and grounds made the most beautiful back drop for our wedding. The Museum is also really cool with a unique history, and I loved that wedding guests received free entry the day of and the day after the wedding.
Definitely take a tour or attend one of their wedding open house events! This is a unique and beautiful venue.
Our wedding day was incredible thanks to the Bryan Museum being the most beautiful venue in Texas! We fell in love with the glass Conservatory the first time we visited and continue to be blown away every time we walk through those front doors. Our reception dinner took place inside with 150 guests sitting comfortably. Our grand entrance right into the first dance under the chandeliers was pure magic. A highlight of the evening was dancing the night away out on the connecting patio with a perfectly refreshing March breeze. Peter, Jessica and Richard were fantastic to work with and there isn't a better place to host a Wedding/Party/Celebration. We are already looking forward to coming back on our 1 year anniversary (if not sooner)!
Getting married at The Bryan Museum was even better than I could have imagined. I wish I could post some of our photos as they are absolutely beautiful. We had a 132 person wedding which was perfect for a spacious dance floor inside of the conservatory. The gazebo, grounds and conservatory are absolutely amazing. One of my uncles actually said he felt like he was in Europe. The beauty of this venue can’t be matched anywhere in Texas. Plus, our guests had such a fun weekend in Galveston! Thank you again to the Bryan Museum team for making my wedding day so great, just wishing we could do it all over again!
The Bryan Museum was everything we ever wanted for our wedding day! The natural beauty of The Conservatory is unbeatable. We were so in awe of the natural lighting during our reception. Our guests LOVED being able to see the Museum too! Everything about this venue from the grounds to the the suites is just perfect. We cannot rave enough about Peter, Richard, and Jessica! They truly go above and beyond. They were so helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process (which was during COVID-19) and especially the day off. Working with the staff from The Bryan Museum was such a breeze and we are so grateful for them. You cannot go wrong with this venue!
This was the most beautiful venue I could have imagined. It was so romantic and our guests were swooning! We had our wedding postponed once due to COVID and Peter, Richard, and Jessica (our saviors) were so accommodating, understanding, and flexible. They frequently made sure we were doing well and everything went perfectly. They made the whole process seamless and effortless. Every aspect was perfect, professional, and overall made the day better than I could have imagined!
A perfect and beautiful venue with great views and a beautiful Conservatory. Thank you Peter, Jessica and Richard for a great time at The Bryan museum .
The Bryan Museum was a dream come true for my wedding day! The individuals who work there are more than I could have ever asked for! They go above and beyond! Jessica, Richard and Peter are amazing and make your wedding day the absolute best it can be! They spoiled us and our wedding party the day of and were there to answer every question along the way! A beautiful venue and an even better staff!
I recently had my wedding here. The venue is gorgeous and my guests had a great time. The venue staff (Peter, Jessica, and Richard) were super helpful the day of the wedding. Everything went really well!
OKAY. If I could re do my entire wedding and planning experience, I would choose the Bryan Museum ALL OVER AGAIN, just to work with these people and in this beautiful space even longer! What an incredible experience. I’m not sure where to start. My wife and I booked them farther out than most couples do, because we planned on a 2.5 year engagement and Peter and his team were just the best from start to finish. The venue is separate from other wedding planning necessities, but I think that allows for you to build something truly unique and your own style. We held our wedding and reception on property and it was a BLAST from what I’ve been told. The grounds are kept up year round and even in January, for our wedding, the gardens and trees were light up and stunning. We didn’t need to do much as far as florals and extra decor because the venue is so beautiful on its own. Our wedding and reception were held at the Conservatory and the surrounding patios which gave us plenty of space for our nearly 200 guests! It was more than we could have asked for! The bridal and grooms suites are extremely unique and accommodating in their own rights, and the in sure restrooms were extremely helpful to guests. We worked with over 12 outside vendors and many were already familiar with the venue and had nothing but good things to say. We even received help from Peter’s team at the Bryan the day of with holding babies of the bridal party (whose parents were both in the wedding!) and helping bustle my dress! They saw a need and immediately jumped into action. really, what more can you ask for on such a hectic and wonderful kind of day?! I feel so honored to know everyone at the Bryan that I’ve encountered. They made us feel like family and we had no hiccups! For anyone looking for an exceptionally beautiful venue with a few hearts of gold helping you along the way, look NO FURTHER. Katrina and I are so grateful to have been able to work with them, and they made our day the most unforgettable we’ll ever have!!!! Thank you!!! (Katrina wrote most of this- but James agrees!!! :))
I found this venue in June 2017, I knew right then, that was where my dream wedding was going to be. I got married in October 2019 there at the Bryan, and it was the wedding of my dreams. I had dreams of the Conservatory until the day finally came. It is truly my favorite building in the whole world. It is my favorite place to visit, and now holds a whole different meaning being where I said "I Do" to my love. Peter worked with me, my husband, my parents, and my grandmother, until we were all overly happy and on board. Peter and Richard always went above and beyond to make sure our day went flawless, which it did. When I look back at photos and our wedding video, I can feel that day, and I truly believe it had everything to do with The Bryan. I cannot wait to go back and visit there over and over again, and feel all the butterflies! Thank you so much Peter!!
The entire team at The Bryan Museum seriously made our wedding SO FANTASTIC!! I took on some serious DIY décor, and had a small group of friends help me set everything up. Jessica (coordinator) seriously helped me so much - which is tough - because I'm such a control freak. From beginning to end, they ensured that we were all taken care of, and that we had absolutely everything we needed. The venue sells itself with the history and the beauty it has on it's own - but I can't stress just how phenomenal of a team Peter, Richard and Jessica make. Even with some unforeseen situations with my bridal party, they all made sure everything went smoother than I could have ever wished. I would not have changed A THING. I absolutely recommend this venue, and have already gotten two of my friends to consider The Bryan Museum for their own wedding/events. THANK YOU GUYS!!
The Bryan Museum was the perfect place for my wedding and reception! I knew it from the moment I saw it in person: historic building, fascinating history behind the property, beautiful conservatory, lush gardens, ...what more could you ask for? Peter and Richard were very friendly and accommodating, always ready to answer my questions. My wedding at the Bryan Museum was truly a dream come true!
The Bryan Museum was the perfect setting for my daughters wedding. The grounds were pristine and the glass conservatory was a one of a kind place for the reception. Peter Ochoa was exceptional to work with. He was spot on with his recommendations and exceeded our expectations with his graciousness. The wedding was a fairytale come true and we were thrilled with the entire event.
We only have one daughter, and when she became engaged we had just recently moved to Galveston.
We discovered the Bryan Museum and we were immediately impressed with the beautiful grounds, the bride and groom areas, and the conservatory. Needless to say, we booked it immediately.
I cannot begin to describe how wonderful the entire experience was. Peter and Richard are the perfect balance of professionalism and familiarity. They were always available for the entire year before the wedding and they were on sight during the wedding as well. The entire staff was impeccably trained and catered to our every need. The event exceeded our expectations in every way.
I am sure you will be more than pleased if you choose the Bryan for your wedding.
I got married at the Bryan October 13th, 2018. I cannot rave enough about how beautiful the day was from the breathtaking landscaping and the facility itself to the team that helped bring everything together. Peter Ochoa is a gem. He is so kind, patient, and professional. I enjoyed working with him. He helped me to enjoy the day stress-free. When he noticed I was feeling stressed, or anxious, he was there to talk me through it. Thank you so much to everyone at the Bryan for helping create such a special day, I will never forget it!
We had the most amazing wedding here! All my dreams came true, it truly was a fairytale! Thank you Peter for making our wedding magical!
As the mother of a bride and groom who lived out-of-state, I had the distinct pleasure of working with Peter, the coordinator at The Bryan Museum from start to finish after my daughter visited and decided this was the perfect venue for her wedding. The words I heard from guests after the wedding were "sensational, beautiful, and stunning." Everyone was awe-struck by the beauty of the grounds at The Bryan Museum as well as the gorgeous Conservatory with its magnificent chandeliers where you could look up at the sky as well as see the gardens all around you. It was absolutely magical! Peter was so wonderful to work with. He would answer my midnight emails so I never went to bed worrying about anything. The wedding took place on one of our unusually cold evenings, but with heaters in the beautifully decorated tent, everyone was very comfortable dancing away the night after dinner in the Conservatory. The Bryan Museum was a picture-perfect wedding venue and all the guests both young and old haven't stopped talking about it.
The Bryan Museum is what every bride dreams of on their wedding day! The grounds are stunning and the conservatory is spectacular. The event coordinator, Peter, is fabulous. He was very organized and involved in the entire wedding planning process and was a blessing on wedding day! I highly recommend this venue for all brides looking for a sophisticated garden setting.
My husband and I fell in love with the Bryan Museum from the first time we saw it. We couldn’t be more thrilled in our decision to book The Bryan Museum for our wedding on October 8, 2017. Peter Ochoa, Richard and the rest of his staff were amazing from the beginning. They always made themselves available to answer our questions, willing to accommodate our requests and made helpful suggestions. Overall, they helped bring the wedding of our dreams come to reality! Mr. Bryan, Peter and the onsite Horticulturalist haven't overlooked any details to make the grounds an absolute dream of a venue, which we and our guests enjoyed. The grounds, gazebo and conservatory are absolutely stunning. Peter also worked seamlessly with our wedding planner and vendors. He made sure we had everything we wanted and even worked with us on the wedding day to adjust a few things including, giving our guests cold water on a hotter than normal October day. Our wedding was better than anything we ever imagined. Our guests raved about our stunning venue! We cannot thank Peter enough for his help in making our wedding absolutely unforgettable! The Bryan Museum will always hold a special place in our hearts and we'll be back for a visit soon!
My husband and I couldn’t be more thrilled in our decision to book The Bryan Museum for our wedding this past fall, on November 19th, 2016. Peter Ochoa and his staff were amazing from the beginning. They always made themselves available to answer our countless questions and to make helpful suggestions. Overall, they brought the wedding of my dreams alive! Being a non-traditional bride myself, I hadn’t the slightest idea on how to plan a wedding, but Peter was there for me throughout the entire process to give me advice and to keep me focused and on track. Between the beauty of the conservatory and Peter being my right-hand man, my wedding was better than anything I ever imagined. To this day, our guests are still raving about our stunning venue! We cannot thank Peter enough for his help in making our wedding unforgettable! The Bryan Museum will always hold a special place in our hearts.
This is a gorgeous venue, tucked away in a quiet spot off the beaten path in Galveston. I had my bridal portraits here and there are so many great spots for pictures. There is an arbor for a beautiful outdoor ceremony and a glass conservatory for a reception area. The gardens and grounds are very well maintained. The staff there is amazing. Peter is the event coordinator and he was wonderful. I can't say enough good words about this place!
