Ellie is so talented and wonderful to work with! She's professional, laid-back, and so easy to talk to. She made all my wedding floral dreams come true and went above and beyond our expectations! She created the most stunning hanging installation for our ceremony and was able to repurpose it to hang over our head table during the reception. We received so many compliments on our personal flowers and the flowers that were sprinkled throughout our venue. We definitely recommend Ellie to anyone looking for a florist!

Ellie is incredible! I swear she can read minds. She made the arrangements look exactly like I envisioned in my head. Everything looked straight out of a fairytale. She can be hard to reach via email but I promise it's worth it. My husband and I are beyond happy with how things turned out!

Ellie is amazing. I love flowers and knew I wanted them to be an important focal point of our wedding day. We actually met Ellie while on a tour of our venue and got to chat with her a bit. She had such a positive energy and her arrangements were gorgeous. During my first consultation with Ellie, she understood my vision immediately and helped me fine tune the details. She is so creative and talented and so much fun to be around. My mom, sister, and I had a blast meeting with her at her shop to go over final details. When you go through wedding planning during a pandemic, you really get to know your vendors on a different level. Ellie was calm and reassuring during both of our postponements. When we decided to have a small elopement before our big wedding day, I messaged Ellie 48 hours before and she created a gorgeous bouquet for me. I was so grateful to have that small piece of what our day was supposed to look like. As plans changed for our new wedding date, Ellie was so helpful in reimagining the arrangements. Everything was stunning from the halo installation on the altar to the bouquets to the trees she rented for us. I was beyond impressed with her work and all of our guests kept commenting about how beautiful the flowers were. One of my bridesmaids said our bouquets looked like they had been picked straight from the garden which is EXACTLY what I told Ellie I wanted in our consultation. She totally nailed it. I will forever be grateful that we chose Ellie to be our florist for our day and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for gorgeous blooms for an event or every day living. Elle is magic! I swear, that is the only way she can explain how incredible, perfect and beautiful our day was. She went ABOVE and beyond to make sure our day was unique, beautiful and exactly what I was dreaming. From the initial meeting, to the mood boards, to implementation, Ellie nailed every concept and idea to make our vision come to life. Our wedding was unique and perfect, and I can't stop staring at all the photos of her florals at the venue. I'm so thankful for Ellie and YOU NEED TO HIRE HER.

We cannot thank Ellie enough for working her floral magic on our wedding day! Ellie was so wonderful to work with — she spent a lot of time and effort answering my initial questions and providing detailed proposals, which were accurate throughout the planning process. We had several ideas for florals, but ultimately trusted Ellie to bring it to life and use her own creativity — and I’m SO glad we did! When she showed up on our wedding day with the flowers, we were blown away! Throughout the day and for several weeks after, we received so many compliments. The bouquets and reception hall florals were absolutely stunning. Ellie was very genuine, prompt, organized, and creative, and we really enjoyed working with her. My mother-in-law also worked with Ellie on florals for our rehearsal dinner — which were amazing! She coordinated the flowers with our wedding day flowers, and it was stunning. I cannot recommend Ellie enough — I would hire her to do florals again in a heartbeat!

Ellie – You are the best! Budding Florist was my top choice floral vendor when I got engaged, and our wedding flowers were even better than I imagined. I am not very knowledgeable with flowers, so I visited the shop about 2 weeks before the wedding and Ellie stopped everything she was doing to bring my sample bouquet to life! it is was so helpful. Ellie really went out of her way to make sure all the details were perfect. We absolutely loved working with her and HIGHLY recommend Budding Florist to everyone!

Ellie made our wedding floral vision come to fruition and exceeded our expectations!!! We had so many last minute changes due to COVID and she was there every step of the way being so accommodating and understanding. Her work is absolutely flawless and I cannot recommend her enough!!

All I can say is wow. Ellie made my entire wedding vision come to life. I was really conflicted on colors, themes, etc, and Ellie created MULTIPLE vision boards to help bring it all together. I used these boards to help communicate to my other vendors and bridal party what I was envisioning. Ellie and her crew are absolutely incredible. They spent over 6 hours creating just ONE installation. She even surprised me the day of with other little creations around the venue. When my bouquet was wilting, she spruced it up. She made sure everything was perfect. And it was. She truly made my wedding what it was and I can't recommend her and her team enough. Forever grateful for her!

I would like to start by saying how impressive Ellie’s shop is. Her flower and house plants are beautiful, and I have purchased quite a few things from The Budding Florist. I knew I wanted to work with Ellie and her team for my wedding, specifically because of the shop’s close proximity to our venue (Rhinegeist). However, her communication with potential clients is poor at best. After an initial meeting & discussion regarding a vision for my wedding, Ellie promised to send a quote within 4 days. One month later, and I have received zero communication from Ellie. I have sent two follow-up emails and left a voicemail at her shop, and she has yet to provide a quote. Despite how much I wanted to work with The Budding Florist, I will be choosing a different vendor for my wedding day.

Ellie is awesome! She is easy to work with and extremely patient. Her floral style is incredible. We got married in February and were hesitant on what florals would be available but Ellie found amazing winter blooms. Our flowers turned out awesome and Ellie was organized, on time and just easy to work with. Our guests loved our floral arrangements. Can’t say enough good things about The Budding Florist - highly recommend!

Ellie is the best florist ever! Her arrangements for us were beautiful and dreamy and our guests still talk about our florals elements at our wedding! She was extremely easy to chat with, especially when bringing ideas to life. I trusted her vision and ability completely and it turned out absolutely perfect! Ellie was awesome to work with and made the entire process easy. We showed her some general floral ideas we had from Pinterest and left the rest up to her. Everything turned out better than we could have imagined. In addition to the amazing bouquets and table arrangments, she decorated the arbor we got married under with the most beautiful flowers. Choosing The Budding Florist was a great decision, and we love going to her shop in Findaly Market even after our wedding.

LOOK NO FURTHER! Ellie and her team at the Budding Florist truly made our wedding the most perfect and picturesque day. SO much talent and vision. I went into our meetings with a few images and if you are anything like me, looking for the perfect flower and arrangement can be really overwhelming. She was able to create a story and a theme with just a few pictures. Her work is breathtaking. She put me at ease knowing another thing on my list for the big day was 1000% taken care of and in the best hands. The Budding Florist is and always will be the best place to go for ANY type of floral arrangement! Work with Ellie - zero regrets.

Ellie and the Budding Florist team did such a beautiful job on our wedding day. She took my vision and color scheme and style and went for it and it turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined. From the bouquets to the center pieces to flower girl crowns, and ceremonial arches, everything was stunning. She was so easy to work with and was so prompt in getting back to us with questions etc and getting a quote to us within our budget! She set everything up perfectly. They are a small business in the heart of cincinnati at Findlay market. It was super important for us to use small local vendors to support the thriving community we live in! Id recommend her ten times over again!! I cant say enough great things

I can't say enough great things about Ellie and The Budding Florist team! I had no clear vision of what I wanted for my wedding flowers but Ellie's wealth of knowledge, eye for design and friendly demeanor made me feel so comfortable in choosing her as our vendor. She took my budget into consideration, then I showed her things I liked and didn't like and then completely trusted her to do her thing. I'm so glad I did because everything turned out way better than I could have ever imagined; I was obsessed with our altar arrangements, centerpieces, boutonnieres, cake flowers, etc! I could go on and on but if they are available for your special occasion, I would definitely recommend booking!

Best florist in Cincinnati!! Ellen (aka Ellie!) was so wonderful to work with. I’m a little late to reviewing (moved states and starting a new job) BUT I can’t emphasize how beautiful Ellen’s centerpieces turned out not to mention the flowers on the cake! My reception was at The Monastery in Mt Adams and Ellen KILLED IT! I received so many compliments from guests in the days after the wedding. As for the flowers on the cake, my cake was on the smaller size but she made it look incredible and so so special. 10/10 recommend! She’s also so sweet and nice which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Thank you Ellen!!

Ellie and her team were awesome!! I had no clue what kind of arrangements I was wanting to do and even changed my mind halfway through the process. Oops! She was so responsive, patient and understanding at all times. I truly enjoyed working with her from start to finish. Ellie is friendly, accommodating, and truly passionate for what she does. She made all my flower dreams come true for our wedding AND she even steamed my table cloths the day of!! Her experience and expertise shows in her work. Ellie was AMAZING. The floral arrangements for our wedding were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. Ellie was able to take my vision, and not only bring it to life, but make it even more gorgeous than I could have dreamed! When she arrived with our bouquets, I was blown away. Our guests still talk about how beautiful the floral centerpieces were. Ellie was able to work with us and collaborate our ideas to create a beautiful evening.
