Two people choosing to build a life together is one of the most meaningful things a person can do. But it doesn't happen on autopilot. It takes intention, honesty, and a willingness to keep showing up, even when it's uncomfortable. That's what I'm here to help you build. I'm Sydni White — wife, mother, sister, former collegiate athlete, and founder of The Built Not Broken Co. I'm a Certified PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator with graduate clinical training in marriage and family therapy and EMDR certification, and I bring both that training and my own lived experience navigating career demands, family dynamics, and relationship strain into every couple I work with. I believe marriage was built for good — and it works best when it's intentionally built. Too many couples go into marriage on autopilot, or with nothing more than a personality quiz to tell them if they're "compatible." I built The Built Not Broken Co. because engaged couples deserve better than that: real, research-backed insight from the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment, one of the most validated couple assessments available, paired with clinical training and trauma-informed care. It's also important to know what this work is, and isn't. Counseling often looks backward, working to process and unpack the past. What I do is different: it's coaching, and it's forward-facing. We meet you where you are right now, and build the practical skills and shared language you'll need to navigate what's ahead together — as fiancés, and eventually as spouses. My goal for every couple is the same: give you the skills the research says actually matter — communication and conflict resolution, financial alignment, healthy family and in-law dynamics, and intimacy, roles, and faith alignment — before the wedding, not after the cracks show. Strong marriages aren't built by couples who avoid conflict; they're built by couples who learn to navigate it without disconnection.
