I chose the Bunker Brew Pub for my small reception of 50. I booked the space earlier in 2025 and spent the rest of the year chatting back and forth with Sammy who is their event co...
ordinator. I can not even begin to describe how fantastic my experience was working with the Bunker. Sammy was attentive to all of my emails and every little question, she had an answer for. Every little request, it was no problem. She assured me that everything was going to be great and go smoothly, and it sure did. The night of the event was beautiful. Sammy and staff checked on me and my husband all night. Everyone raved about the food!! The staff, especially Sammy, did such an amazing job at making me and my husband feel special. I can not express how perfect they made our reception. It was everything we wanted. I recommend the Bunker Brew Pub to anyone who is wanting an event space.
The Bunker Brewpub is the Hampton Roads Wedding Industry's best kept secret! We did a beach ceremony and then held our reception at the Bunker. The space is beautiful, the food is ...
delicious, and it's incredibly affordable. Our guests had so many great things to say about the space and the food. Sammy was fantastic to work with and went above and beyond to help make our day special. Can't recommend them enough!
We had the best experience hosting our rehearsal dinner at the Bunker Brewpub. The private event space was spacious and very conducive to a lovely casual party. Reserving our event...
was a breeze, Sammy was extremely helpful and easy to work with when it came to finalizing the details and our catering order. Everything was set up perfectly, and the food was delicious! Just about everyone there said how great of a venue space it was, and that they would love to come back.
The bar was pretty awesome as well, there was something for everyone. Would recommend for anyone looking to host a casual event of any kind!
We love this place!! We actually booked the Bunker Brewpub for our reception venue before we had even been there (we live 3-4 hours away from Virginia Beach) but we got to visit it...
a few months before our wedding and we were so glad we booked it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, everyone was super friendly, and the beer was spectacular (the Snake Eater IPA is one of my favorite beers now).
The reception was perfect too - we had ~97 guests and the event space was perfect for that size. There was even enough room for a dance floor! They let us come by early to set up the decorations, and they made sure everything went smoothly between the buffet dinner, speeches, music, and everything else.
Big thank you to Sammy for coordinating everything for us!!! We really appreciate all the time and effort you put into the planning and coordinating for our reception.

he kindness and hospitality they showed us for our reception. They were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to decorate ahead of time and ensuring a timeline weeks in advance.
The food was absolutely delicious and everyone kept raving about it. The bar tenders were incredible the entire night and ensured that everyone had a great time.
I would absolutely get married here again if I could choose. It was the perfect balance of industrial, masculine and blank slate that you can put your personal touches to make any event special and personalized. Thank you again to the entire Bunker Brewpub staff for making our reception seamless, easy and one of the best nights! We can’t wait to come back and celebrate on our anniversary. Thank you!
