ocess the two event coordinators we worked with were exceptionally communicative and helpful. We had many planning meetings that were productive and did a great job helping us navigate the coordination and planning required to pull off a wedding. On the day, the coordinator was an incredible asset in navigating problems and helped take a tremendous amount of stress off our plates. Besides putting out literal fires, she helped manage guests, sort out timings, connect and coordinate the additional contracted help, and set up the furniture. We’re also incredibly grateful that she was able to be flexible and offer us access to the space (free of charge) the day before to drop off a tremendous amount of decorations. The space itself is gorgeous, with the barrel ceiling, exposed wood, and beautiful stage. We paid the extra for the downstairs bridal suite and reception area, and it was worth it. Having a second space for guests to move down to for dinner while the upstairs was turned over for the reception was well worth it. As well as that, it gave the bride (my wife) her own space to get ready while I met guests and finalized preparations upstairs. We *highly* recommend the Bur Oak for your wedding space. The space is beautiful, the employees were on point, and moreover they were eager to help and be a part of our day.

They handled so much day of, from coordinating with the caterers and the band to lighting candles to making sure all the tables and chairs were taken care of without us ever having to get involved. It made the day SO much less stressful. As for the venue itself, it’s absolutely gorgeous — we did both our ceremony, dinner, and reception there and every space was so beautiful and really didn’t need much decoration at all. We got so many compliments from our guests on how lovely it was! Finally the bartenders were amazing - they helped us come up with custom cocktails and everyone commented on how great the drinks were all night long. Would 100% recommend this venue to anyone, they’re amazing to work with and you get so much support and professionalism from everyone who works there. Truly made our wedding the perfect day!

size and of this place sets the tone for an intimate event. The Bur Oak has beautiful brick and wood accents and perfect warm lighting. The Events Director Ashlee is good at her job - she will make you feel welcome and taken care of. She replied to all of our questions with speed and a smile. If you're thinking of having a live band, this is the place to do it! They're a music venue so they know what they're doing, have their own sound engineer and large enough stage for our 7 person band. Another huge bonus is that they have their own tables and chairs, so you don't need to coordinate bringing those rentals in. We had two signature drinks and the bartenders nailed it. We were worried about guests from the on-site restaurant being a nuisance during the reception, but we hardly even noticed it. We're so happy we chose to have our wedding reception here!

list. The wood detail, styling, lighting, was just our style. Once our wedding plans changed due to the pandemic, we knew who to call. Ashlee and Andrew were a dream to work with. They were accommodating in working with our budget, making things happen on a short timeline, and super friendly to our family and closest friends. They went above and beyond in helping us play and pause our playlist on cue, as well as get the stage lighting just-so for our ceremony. They even assisted us in selecting our perfect tap list. We especially loved that our guests could come and go from the patio. As always, the venue was stunning and sparkly clean for our wonderful, memorable wedding day!
