The Buttonwood Manor Banquets

e had many guests comment on how good the food was, both at cocktail hour and during dinner! And for everything that was included, this venue was a real bargain. When the rest of the wedding planning was stressing me out, Buttonwood was the one thing that was easy to work with and never caused me any extra stress. I will never get married again (see reference to stress!) but if I had to I would absolutely go with Buttonwood!

Everything was very clearly communicated and Sue was incredibly helpful every step of the way. Also shout out to the kitchen guys, when we lost a dessert for a guest with a bunch of dietary restrictions they made her a fruit platter really quickly so she could eat with everyone else, it was really sweet of them and it meant a lot to us.

cocktail hour and all the way through dessert. The view of the lake through the wall to wall windows is just beautiful and the room has a simple yet classic elegance feel for which I was looking. Sue and Maria were both extraordinary with planning and setting up the rooms. They were extremely accommodating to my desires on décor and just about everything. For instance, Maria advised me since I wanted a very dark/moody look to my wedding (I requested all black linens) to spruce up the table with some tealight candles since she knew the dim lighting during dancing hours could make it difficult for some guests who would prefer to stay at the table. Also, my husband is a big sushi fan and Sue was able to accommodate our bridal party with two large sushi boats during the two hours we had in the bridal suite prior to the start of cocktail hour. This was along with a large cheese and fruit spread. The sushi was a big hit for my bridal party and was also another way to spoil them a little for being a part of our special day. Another example, there were certain liquors included in the package that I knew my guests would not drink. Sue substituted certain bottles for us for ones we knew our guests would all order. It's the little things like this that made my husband and I really happy and thankful to have worked with Sue and Maria.

To top it all off, Buttonwood is probably the most reasonably priced venue in Monmouth County. We could not have imagined our wedding day going any better!!

was amazing! She made sure our wedding went off without a hitch. Even with it raining they were able to transition quickly and efficiently to an indoor ceremony. You can tell she really cares about her clients, and we didn't feel like it was "just another party" for her. She made sure my husband and I were taken care of. The food was also outstanding both for the rehearsal dinner and reception. I would definitely do another party here!

. The landscaping was beautiful for the pictures. And the food was great! We had to reschedule the date 2 days before the wedding because of Hurricane Irene. They were wonderful, and didn't charge a fee for the change. We wouldn't have gotten another Saturday until November though, because they were all booked, so we had to do a Sunday. We weren't trilled about that, but it went great. My daughter had the wedding of her dreams!
