The Cabin

d my 50% deposit, they took weeks to months to answer my emails or return phone calls. They said our emails were mysteriously not getting through to each other... but not sure what their excuse was for not returning phone calls. There were excuses for everything (sorry it took me 2 weeks to reply to an email but my grandson was born). It was not very professional. They were very willing to work with me to design the menu I wanted and the food was good (although less impressive in buffet form than at the tasting). But I spent hours choosing the linens and finally deciding on gray napkins, then they put out white napkins at the reception. Which I didn't see until I got there. So the food is good and the style of serving seemed professional, but the hassle of planning with them took them way down in my book. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of options in that area.
