The pictures don’t do the venue justice. The Mountain View is breathtaking and the gardens are beautiful. Selecting an all outdoor ceremony/reception is a risky gamble we were will...
ing to take based off the view. Andy has a beautiful property and clearly cares about the land and how we treat it with solar panels and recycled rain water. We were fortunate to have a beautiful day, but Andy had many contingency plans formulated if it were to rain in order to keep us comfortable and on track. We used almost all of the preferred vendors on the list and I would absolutely recommend that for anyone choosing the Cabin Ridge. Andy is not only present for the wedding but also beforehand welcoming and directing vendors. She has clearly built well maintained relationships with them which makes your planning as a bride way easier because they’ve all worked with each other. Brian and I could not be luckier (or happier) that we were able to celebrate our special day at the Cabin Ridge. Andy and Jenny went above and beyond their role of coordinating and accepting vendors, but also making sure family and friends were comfortable while helping our day of wedding coordinator in any way they could. They were a very nice and unexpected blessing, as we had many people ensuring the day went off without a hitch. I know this is Andy’s last year before retirement, but to any more brides with weddings their this year you made an excellent choice. It’s really special that Andy will do anything she can ensure the day goes smoothly.
The Cabin Ridge is a stunning venue with a flexible, friendly, and kind team of owners/employees. Andy answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. Our original wedding plans ...
fell through due to COVID, and the Cabin Ridge was the perfect spot for our intimate elopement. The flexible and reduced elopement prices were exactly what I was looking for.
I was especially thankful for the cover of the pavilion in the event of rain (though thankfully, we had beautiful weather the day of our wedding). We are so thankful we found the Cabin Ridge. The photos of the beautiful garden and view speak for themselves and are even more gorgeous in person. The western-facing mountain view is definitely the highlight, but the surrounding scenery is ALL gorgeous. Look no further for a venue that will be the perfect setting to a beautiful, picturesque, outdoor mountain wedding.
Our wedding was everything we could have asked for and so much more. Andy and her staff were beyond amazing. Any time we contacted Andy with any questions or concerns, we received ...
nothing but calm plans and reassurance. And with planning a wedding during the Covid pandemic, this was exactly what we needed. We are so thankful we were able to celebrate our big day at her stunning venue!
The Cabin Ridge is just perfect! Andy was amazing throughout the entire process. She helped us in many ways and was very accommodating.
Our wedding was October 5, 2013. The weath...
er was warm and in the upper 70’s and the trees had not quite started to change. At the time, the pavilion was not in and we had rented one. The house was used by my wife to sleep in and get ready in for the day. The barn was a great space for our dancing. The best was the spot we wed that had the most beautiful view of the mountains.
Even more awesome was the opportunity to go back to our spot 5 years later and renew our vows together. Andy graciously allowed us a few hours to do a little ceremony, with our closest family, including our 1 year old son. We were able to see and use the newly added pavilion.
Andy has put a lot of time and work into this property to make it perfect for couples. We definitely recommend this to anyone who loves nature and a mountaintop wedding venue.
Thank you again Andy
The Cabin Ridge is a dream. A breathtaking, awe-inspiring DREAM. My wife and I are lucky to have blessed our love in marriage at such a caring spot. It is unforgettable.

ews are priceless. The backdrop of mountain ranges allows for moments of connection to your love and to the world. The pavilion was constructed with beauty and care, offering plenty of space for eating and dancing, all while offering spectacular views. The barn and cottage are humble reminders of the history of the venue, but also add to the experience with its use as dressing rooms and a cocktail area.
Andy, the owner of the venue, and her staff (Ginny and Eddie) are unbelievably kind, helpful, thoughtful, and professional. They eased us through the process (this was a destination wedding for us), helping with planning, set-up, breakdown, and support that all will go well. We truly felt they cared about the importance of the day as much as we did. And Obie, Andy's sweet dog, was always there to greet us. Now that's a welcome!
The Cabin Ridge will always hold a special place in our heart, not only because it was where we wed, but because it allowed us to feel so connected to the day and what it is meant to be.
You deserve that feeling too, and you'll find it at this beautiful mountain venue.
Can we go back yet?
My husband David and I are so happy we chose The Cabin Ridge as our wedding venue. I can't believe we were able to get married on this beautiful mountain top with the amazing views...
. Andy and her assistant Ginny were a breeze to work with. They helped so much making the day perfect. Our guest still today talk about how we had the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and I have to say it's because of the amazing sunset views during the reception. Thank you Andy for sharing your place with us.

me. We were able to visit the site a few times before the wedding and Andy was very responsive about everything. It poured rain on our wedding day but cleared up just in time for us to have an outdoor ceremony. Even with all of this going on, my husband and I were completely stress-free on our wedding day because of Andy's flexibility. I cannot recommend the Cabin Ridge enough. We loved it!!!
There simply isn't enough time to discuss how perfect and wonderful the Cabin Ridge is! I would, and already have, recommended this venue to other couples to use for their wedding ...
days. Andy Owensby, the owner of the venue, is very quick to respond to emails and answer questions, and is also very thorough in her planning to ensure that every detail is covered. We booked the venue about a year and a half before our wedding date and Andy consistently answered all of our questions and met with us about 2 months before our wedding to go over everything. She was able to recommend numerous vendors for us to use who had previously worked at the Cabin Ridge. Day-of the wedding, Andy was present the entire time and helped us set up the decorations, coordinate the vendors, and ensure that everything ran smoothly. The venue is absolutely breath taking - our photographer remarked about how easy it would be for her to capture stunning pictures at the venue, and she was right: our pictures turned out absolutely perfect with the beautiful mountains in the background, especially at sunset. The Cain Ridge absolutely surpassed EVERY single expectation we had. We couldn't have been happier with the venue and the opportunity to work with Andy.
We had such an amazing experience at the Cabin Ridge. From our first visit we new it was the perfect site for us to get married. The venue is perfectly maintained with wonderful pl...
ants and flowers that everytime you visit there are new flowers in bloom. The mountain views are phenomenal and even on a rainy wedding day the low clouds made a very unique day. Andy is so helpful throughout the entire planning process and was very responsive to all my questions whenever they came to me. The day of the wedding was very smooth and Andy gave me weather updates periodically to help decide if we would be able to do the ceremony outside or under the pavilion. This is the perfect venue for the outdoor couple, who wants a mountain wedding. The house is perfect for bridal parties to get ready in, however outlets are limited for those brides who may need a few straighteners and blow dryers. It was a perfect day and I can't express enough thanks to Andy for all her help along the way!
I loved having my wedding at the Cabin ridge. It was a magical day and everything that I had ever dreamed of. Most of my guests that came to my wedding were out of town guests and ...
they have agreed with me that “this was the best wedding they had ever been to”. Andy met with me and my family several times prior to the wedding to discuss the wedding details. Andy was wonderful to work with and helped make our day so special. The cabins ridge has the most spectacular view of the mountains. The view of the mountains was amazing and I’m so glad that I chose my wedding at the cabin ridge. Andy was great to work with and was available at all times for questions and assistance.

ly responded to e-mails to insure we had everything in order. I was in town twice before our big day, and she allowed me to come visit the venue both times. She has a great knowledge of vendors in the area, and even asked questions I had not thought of. I can't recommend this place enough.

y when we booked the venue and we booked it based on the beautiful photos of the venue and past weddings, as well as the most pleasant phone call with Andy who walked us through everything on the phone to make sure it was right for us. When we finally visited the venue a few months before the wedding, we could not believe that we were getting married in such a picturesque place! It was an absolute pleasure and delight to work with Andy! She answered every single email in less than 24hrs (and I sent a lot) and was always so accommodating and willing to go out of her way to help you. On our wedding day, she and Jenny even helped set up our décor and after we left to get ready, they took care of everything else, even things that had slipped our mind. They are the kindest and most thoughtful people who truly care about making your wedding day absolutely perfect! And the venue has EVERYTHING you need! You can even rent décor for a minimal cost to reduce the amount of décor you need to purchase and bring with you. Our guests were mesmerized by the place and my husband and I both wish we could relive the day again. We HIGHLY recommend the Cabin Ridge to anyone looking for the wedding of a lifetime!
I had the honor of participating in the wedding of my neice on June 9th, 2019. I found that the owner and staff of Cabin Ridge some of the most gracious and helpful people I have ...
ever met. They were attentive to every need that we might have. They went out of their way to make the day special even though we were dealing with the wettest weather EVER!!.. Andy gave her suggestions and advise ( which were greatly appreciated) to make everything special and a day to remember. Thanks so much to the owner and staff for helping to make this days special. You are the best!

Andy is professional, approachable and incredibly thoughtful. She answered every question I could come up with and even helped me think of details I would have forgotten about!
She is always there for phone calls, e-mails and recommendations. She made self-planning my wedding possible and enjoyable and for that I will always be thankful.

onably priced venue that your guests will rave about look no farther. There are multiple scenic places on the property you can say your vows and so many places your guests can explore. Your reception and ceremony can be outside or covered in their beautiful covered gazebo. We used many of the recommend venders and loved them. Andy was so helpful throughout the entire process. We had multiple meetings with her prior to our big day and she really helped throughout the planning period. The day of our wedding her and her coworker did an amazing job helping my family setup and take down everything. I wish I could give this venue and Andy more than a 5 star review. This venue helped transform my dream wedding into reality.

e actual wedding day - everything was absolute perfection. Andy was never too busy to answer our abundance of questions and didn't hesitate to assist us on the actual day. All of our guests said this was the most beautiful wedding venues they had ever been to, and that's due to Andy keeping the venue in such pristine condition. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue and a more amazing venue coordinator. Go for a visit to just take a look, and you will not want to get married anywhere else. Just plain stunning!

des and fireplace make the event magical. The old farm cabin allows the bride to get ready and feel at ease with all the madness. Also, having the barn to entertain and allow guests to enjoy the refreshments. I really want to give a Special shout out to Andy (the venue owner), she was incredibly accommodating and was always ready to make the day so much better. Not only is this place Gorgeous but you can't beat the price. The Cabin Ridge and Andy made our day more than we could ever ask for! Thank You Andy

d I could not be happier. Andy was the most helpful, coordinating my catering staff, with my coordinator, and my other vendors. Words cannot express how happy we are to have had our wedding in these gorgeous mountains. We are truly blessed that Andy has taken her family property and created a truly breathtaking venue. My guests had an absolute blast and said it was one of the most gorgeous venues they had ever been to. I cannot thank Andy enough for allowing my family to celebrate this joyous occasion on such perfect grounds!! I would recommend The Cabin Ridge to anyone looking to be swept away on their wedding day :)
There are no words to describe the beauty this place holds, no photos that do it justice to the Mountain View’s! This place was so much more than my Husband and I ever dreamt of. T...
here are so many locations on site for picture perfect photo ops. The sunsetting behind the mountain ridges is absolutely stunning and out of this world. Andy the venue owner was a delight to meet and extremely accommodating. She made sure to keep an open line of communication with us since we were traveling from Florida to get married on a mountain top. She helped us through every bit of the planning. We used her website to find most of our vendors, which again was very helpful when planning an out-of-state wedding. Of all the venues we searched for this was the only venue that had such magnificent views of the mountains. We would highly recommended Andy and the Cabin Ridge!!
Where to even begin… #1 thing I will tell couples to do, is to visit this venue. This was easily the most beautiful venue we toured before making our choice. As soon as my husband ...
(then fiance) toured The Cabin Ridge, our searching was over with. The views are literally breathtaking. The sunset from this mountain top is stunning. There literally is not one thing I would change about this venue. Andy (the owner) was such a big help. She was available every step of the way. Any time I had a question, she was extremely prompt on getting back with me, and helping me with visuals. Her prices are EXTREMELY affordable.
This venue can be used as it is with no decor and it is still incredible. Or you can go all out with decor and it will be just as breathtaking.
My guests are still talking about this venue, 2 weeks later. I wish I could turn back time and do it all over again.
Mother of the bride can be a daunting task. You are consumed with thoughts and ideas for your daughter's special day. We could not have made a more perfect choice for a June weddin...
g venue. The Cabin Ridge is THAT special place. The venue owner, Andy, is wonderful. She shares her heart and soul in this mountain treasure. Her events knowledge and the outside vendors she shared with us made our planning seamless. The beautifully groomed grounds, the pavilion and barn, and the little cabin so rich in family history. The mountain views and sunset will simply take your breath away. We even had a short rain shower and a rainbow! You will leave this place with a renewed peace. A renewed belief in love, marriage and the balance of nature and beauty. You will leave a piece of your heart, a longing to return and relive a families special moment.
We drove all around Asheville and surrounding towns before we found this gem. The word perfection does not even begin to describe the beauty of this venue. Her price is reasonable ...
and on the low end of surrounding options. There are limited things that are included with the venue cost but options can be added on. Some of those options are adding on tables and chairs, tables for vendors to use, trash clean up, barn on the hill and some decor. All of which were comparably priced if you were to rent them from other sources. The venue is only wine and beer allowed with a 1 hour liquor cocktail hour. This was perfect and really cut down on some of our alcohol cost. Max occupancy is 150. There were definitely some challenges with transportation in that area and its location at the top of a mountain but everything worked out! This is a venue where you will have to do a lot of foot work to bring in all the vendors but the reward at the end is worth it. Andy the owner is a true professional and her passion surrounding this venue makes it even more special. I would recommend this venue to my friends and family without any reservations.

y time we needed to and she was extremely accommodating of our wants and needs. We rented a few items for her as well which was super convenient aside from convenience being a specialty of what she offers. She was so incredibly sweet and was extremely helpful the day of our wedding when we needed all the help we could get when one of our vendors decided not to follow through with all of their services. I can't say enough amazing things about working with Andy and having our wedding at her venue. Our dream wedding was created at her mountain top venue and for that, we will forever be beyond grateful for Andy and all that she and it offered us. Thank you Andy!!

away by the gorgeous view and landscaping. And after meeting and talking with Andy, we knew immediately The Cabin Ridge was where we would say, "I Do." Andy was very responsive throughout the entire wedding process, and she coordinated the tent, table and chair rentals for us. The venue even provides a nice selection of decor items for rent at reasonable prices. Our wedding day at The Cabin Ridge was absolutely perfect and the setting magical. Our guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful the venue and the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains were, and our wedding photography was amazing thanks to the scenery! We couldn't be happier that we chose The Cabin Ridge as our wedding venue, and we highly recommend this venue to everyone!

om another state, we had a great phone conversation with Andrea to talk through our questions. She addressed all of our questions, and we were comfortable enough to put down a deposit to secure our date without having even visited. Andrea was great to work with and straight-forward about all the details.
The Cabin Ridge was the keystone to our entire wedding planning, and we can't rave enough about how wonderful our day was because of the site.
If you're looking for the perfect outdoor venue with an amazing view and willing to rough it a bit (no running water and limited electricity), this is the place.
