The Cake Company has been complementing weddings with delectable custom cakes since 2018. After working together at a small cake shop on a beach in Florida, Jennifer and Megan decided to go into business together. They adore making sweet treats that excel in all departments, from taste to decor.
The Cake Company welcomes soon-to-be newlyweds to partake in cake tasting sessions to sample the sort of mouth-watering flavors that Jennifer and Megan specialize in. Your cake will feature a bespoke design, a fondant or buttercream base, and floral decor placed by a professional florist. Optional extras consist of specialty flavors, handmade sugar decor, and multiple colors. In addition to cakes, The Cake Company produces cupcakes and pies.

The whole experience working with The Cake Co was lovely. They host tastings in the neighboring coffee shop which created a lovely semi private atmosphere and relaxed the formality of a tasting. They made me 4 gf sample cupcakes, we ended up loving the white cake even though im a chocolate fiend. We got a 6” gf cutting cake and 100 regular cupcakes of different varieties. They were a HIT! We only got the first bite from our cake cutting, everything else was devoured before the end of the night.
Thankfully, my mother lives about 2 miles from their storefront, so we will definitely be buying more cakes from them in the future.

The Cake Company (yay for cupcakes!) and their staff is always friendly and they offer a variety of yummy cake flavors.
The planning process to get the cake how we envisioned it was a little rocky due to some initial miscommunications, but went smoothly once we got the cake ordered. Also keep in mind that due to a smaller staffing team, email reply times may be slower than expected so get the ball rolling with them as early as you can! Their rates are a bit high, but they will provide you with a beautiful product and get it to your venue safely. The only other feedback I heard post-wedding was that half of the bottom tier was still frozen upon arrival and did not thaw out by reception, but that did not end up being a big deal as there was plenty of non-frozen cake for the guests (Dad sure loved the leftovers!)
Overall, it was nice to support a local business, the staff were always friendly and helpful, and the cake was beyond my expectations. Thank you! I'll be back to get some more cupcakes soon!
