CHERYL IS AMAZING. She goes above and beyond for her customers!! Our minds were blown when we went to do the tasting and we got to choose from 15 DIFFERENT CAKE FLAVORS!! We ended up with Toasted Coconut, Key Lime, and Godiva White Chocolate. SO SO GOOD. She even added an extra layer onto our cake so our guests could try all three and we could take one home with us! For our desserts we had an awesome spread of magic cookie bars, assorted macaroons, Rice Krispie treats, Italian wedding cookies, cream puffs, and white chocolate covered strawberries. All of our favorite things! Believe it or not it was all devoured by our group of 110 people!!! I've never heard wedding guests rave so much about cake! She worked with me and our florist to get the perfect cake design and to also decorate the dessert table as well. I cannot thank her enough for all of her work in making this day perfect for us! Hire her IMMEDIATELY. You will not be disappointed!

Cheryl was wonderful to work with and her cake/cupcakes were the best tasting ever! She made custom samples based off our likes for cake tasting and we ended u choosing 5 different flavors for our wedding. We had multiple compliments from our guests about every cupcake being delicious! We have been to weddings all around the U.S. and her cake and cupcakes have been the best. Along with her professionalism, quality of work and pricing, she is by far the best in the Fort Walton/ Destin area!

I loved working with The Cake Destination and Cheryl. She was super sweet from the beginning, the whole process was super easy and I absolutely loved my cake!! I got nervous a few weeks before the wedding and second guess my choice and Cheryl was patient with me and she promised my cake was going to be beautiful and I couldn't be any happier with the results! If you are getting married in the Destin area, you need to get your cake from Cheryl and The Cake Destination! Cheryl met with my family and me early on in the process so we could taste many different flavors of cake and they were all so flavorful and delicious! We narrowed it down to three flavors and they were just as delicious on my wedding day as they were at the tasting! Cheryl worked to make the design I wanted come to life even though she hadn’t ever done one exactly as I wanted before. She also made gorgeous sugar hibiscus flowers that cascaded down the cake and she worked tirelessly to get the flowers the color I wanted even though it wasn’t easy! I can’t stress enough how amazing she was to work with and how delicious her cakes are! She even made fillings to put on the side so that guests could add a little more flavor only if they wanted to! We tasted with three different bakers and she was by far the best!

Cheryl was amazing! She sent cake samples to our house so that we could try the flavors before we picked - it was so much fun to do a taste test in our own house! The cake and desserts were delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Cheryl is so passionate and fun to work with, we would definitely recommend her to future brides!

Cheryl was an absolutely wonderful person to work with for our wedding cake! We live in Colorado and were planning to get married in Destin, FL and had to do everything from afar. Cheryl made that SO easy. We talked on the phone, got to know one another, and then she MAILED us a dozen or so cake samples to trial. That was one of the highlights of wedding planning for us. We ended up having a mini cake tasting with our maid of honor and picked two different cakes for our wedding cake, and surprised my husband with a grooms cake - it was chocolate and peanut butter and everyone was raving about it after the wedding. We LOVED every part of working with Cheryl and the cake from the Cake Destination. It could not have been more amazing or delicious! I would recommend her to anyone, she is amazing!!!

Ma. Cheryl and Mr. Leo are exceptional. Upon meeting them we felt like family. Our cake was more than we expected. They do exceptional work, they get to know the clients and work with you through the whole process. Never had issues with contacting them about the cake or anything. I would definitely recommend them. Next time we’re in the area, I will be calling for another cake.

Cheryl and her husband are fabulous. From being very hands on with every part of the baking to delivery. The pictures on the website don't do them justice. The taste is unbelievable. Everything about her part was handled with class and in a seemingly effortless way. Thank you both.

Cheryl was the sweetest lady I have ever met and talked to. When you talk to her on the phone or meet you she instantly makes you feel like you are family. I planned my wedding all the way from Kansas and she even mailed me cake samples. Not only did the cake taste amazing the way she decorated it was breath taking! I have never seen such a beautiful cake in my life. Truly amazing! If you are getting married in the Destin area you need to go with her for your cake! You will not regret it! ;)

Cheryl did an amazing job with our cake! 1st off, she has the best attitude ever! She's a go getter and she wants to make your cake exactly how you dream it. We looked at a couple pictures and took ideas from all of them and she turned it into the idea I had in my head. When I saw it on my wedding day I was so happy with the final product!!! I was laughing too because the next day my husband asked where the rest of the cake went. I told him we saved the top but the rest got eaten by guests. hahaha he was so shocked, but I wasn't because everyone was coming up to me saying the cake was amazing. I kept hearing "It's like real cake! Not like yucky fondant cake" :) That made me so happy. Our tasting was amazing too! She had 12 flavors for us to try so don't worry about choices... she's got it all.

Cheryl was great. She did exactly what we wanted. The cake was beautiful and tasted exactly like the samples.

I think Cheryl's awesome rating speaks for itself - she's the best! She is such a sweet lady to work with and was so helpful in planning the cupcake tower. It was gorgeous and tasted even better! Everyone at the wedding loved the cake.

I hate that I can only give 5 stars because The Cake Destination deserves like a million stars!!!! Reviews are so hard to write sometimes, but these guys are the bomb.com. First, Cheryl is like so sweet and super easy to work with!!! When we were picking out the cake, she would listen to what we were looking for and consider our budget and work with us to find something both really attractive, but within budget (and we all know how helpful staying in budget is!!!) Next, her ideas for cakes so so helpful and beautiful and has so many pictures for you to chose which things you like about each cake to add into your own cake. Next and probably most important, we had such a difficult time picking out flavors for our cake, because all her flavors are absolutely incredible!!! Seriously the best cake I have ever tasted! Next, she would send me emails/texts regularly as we got closer to our day, which was super sweet!! We got both a wedding cake and a grooms cake (Mississippi State cowbell- Hail State!!!) and they turned out absolutely incredible. Words cannot describe how beautiful these cakes were. I legit had tears in my eyes. I hated cutting them because they were a piece of art!! But they tasted amazing and my guests loved them! She even surprised us with two red velvet cupcakes, because it wasn't a good color to add to our white cake, and we had a chance to enjoy her cakes since we didn't get a chance to eat any other than the tasting. Overall, y'all need to hire this lady- you won't be disappointed!!!

Cheryl created the most spectacular cake for our wedding day – it was so gorgeous it even needed it’s own chandelier! J She was awesome to work with and very open to all our ideas – and she made the entire experience so much fun. We highly recommend Cheryl and The Cake Destination!

I agree with all those who said Cheryl is wonderful to work with. Wow! She treats you like family from the moment you talk. Everything was exactly like we discussed over the phone and can you believe she even sent me samples via mail so I could try them as I live four states away! My husband and I were so amazed someone took the time to do that for us! Everyone commented on how good the cake was and it was a bonus to have two flavors so the kids were happy and so were all the adults. Cheryl did everything perfectly. My only regret is I don't live closer to stop by and get more sweet goodies! Cheryl is a star!

I don't have enough words to express how wonderful Cheryl is. From the very beginning, she treated me like family and made me feel comfortable with every decision. She is a true visionary and does everything she can to ensure your cake is perfect. My guests were blown away by the cake and cupcakes, not only in appearance but it flavor as well. Honestly, it's the best cake I have ever had. And it was still good over a week later when we returned from our honeymoon. She is the best there is. If you want perfection and ease in planning, The Cake Destination is the only place to consider.

Cheryl was wonderful!!! She was so easy to work with and very pleasant. We were from out of town and she sent us samples to pick from. We loved all of the samples, which made it a little difficult to choose one. The cake turned out amazing. It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. All of the guests thought it was beautiful as well! I highly recommend Cheryl and The Cake Destination.

Cheryl was so nice to work with. I sent her a picture from the Internet, and she fit my dream cake into my wedding budget. Compare to other bakeries, her prize is reasonable, and she provides an amazing service, she sent me a sample box from FL to KS for free. Me and my fiancée were able to try different flavors, and pick one that we both liked. Highly recommend that place, she knows how to make brides happy.

The cake that Cheryl designed for my wedding was FABULOUS!!! She was SO creative on the bride's cake and the groom's as well. She was able to re-create the scene where my fiancé had proposed and he was blown away! He loved it as much as I did. The cake was moist and delicious. I live in Texas and Cheryl had the different cake flavors mailed to me so we could pick! It was more than I could have ever imagined being able to get. Cheryl was SO personable and listened to everything my mom asked for (she surprised me with the cake- so that was extra special!) I'd use Cake Destination again in a second!

I worked with Ms.Cheryl Peitrcollo from The Cake Destination in creating an original wedding cake for our August wedding aboard The Solaris. I cannot speak enough about how pleasant our experience was and how willing Ms. Cheryl was to make sure our vision became a reality. Not only was the cake gorgeous but it was delicious! She also made our Groom's cake, which was totally gone by the end of the reception! Our expections were not just met, they were exceeded!

She is extremely pleasant. She was so easy to work with. She walked me through her website to be sure that I picked the best cake possible. She accommodated all of my needs. If you can work with her outside of working with Destin Wedding Company I would highly recommend her. (That wedding company contracts her out for their all inclusive package, which is not really all-inclusive.) She made an awful experience with Destin wedding company more enjoyable because she was sincerely nice. Cost for me was N/A because it was included in my package.

When it came time to taste the cake, I was stressed out and ready to be done with all the planning. My mom, husband, and I met Cheryl at her bakery where she greeted us all with a hug like she'd known us for years, even though we'd only corresponded through email up to that point. As soon as we met her, the stress just disappeared! She'd prepared a sample of at least ten (maybe more!) different kinds of cake as we didn't know where to begin with flavors. EVERY SINGLE ONE was absolutely delicious and it was a very difficult decision, but we finally decided on berry parfait and pina colada. The one flavor she hadn't prepared was red velvet (which I didn't want for the wedding cake anyway, but my now husband loves), and when he mentioned he liked it, she offered to throw in some red velvet cupcakes for us at no additional charge! She also had the idea of adding crystals to my cake which added to the elegant look I was going for. On the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered promptly and was more beautiful than I'd expected. Cheryl coordinated with our florist to decorate the cake with real flowers and with a rental company to get a cake stand that complimented everything beautifully. I couldn't be happier with my entire experience with The Cake Destination and would recommend them 100%.

Cheryl was absolutely wonderful! By the time I was ready to plan out my cake I was feeling a little overwhelmed. Cheryl really calmed me down. I had so many ideas but no clue how to put them all together. Through pictures that Cheryl and I brought, and through her great creative intuition, we designed a cake that encompassed everything I had envisioned. It really was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen! I am not much of a cake person, but let me tell you, Cheryl's cakes are so incredibly tasty!!! I instantly became a cake person haha! Cheryl also helped make a gorgeous candy table for my guests to enjoy and from which to take home souvenirs! In this case I definitely got TO HAVE MY CAKE AND EAT IT TOO!!!!! :)

My wedding cake was gorgeous and exactly what I asked for! I also got a armadillo cake for my grooms cake. It was adorable! Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was also delicious. Where I live out of the state she shipped the cake samples overnight so I could pick the cake flavor. I would highly recommend her!

Cheryl is a joy to work with, by the end, she feels like family or you wish she was! It was great, she came to the cake testing with about 8 different flavors of cake and she has so many designs to choose from. She can pretty much make anything you want. She also made some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. And she brought all the containers and tongs needed for my candy buffet. I bought the candy and she made the candy table look amazing!

Cheryl is a super friendly and energetic person. I wanted a maiden fountain cake like the one my mother had for her wedding in honor of her. Cheryl completely transformed my idea with that of my husband's ideas and made a magnificent sculpture of a cake! I didn't even want to eat but everyone absolutely loved it and it tasted wonderful!
