Clayton and Amber really made sure everything was perfect for our special day! Could not recommend this venue more for a beautiful wedding. Amber really went above and beyond as event coordinator, she is the best!

Being the mother of the bride and extremely picky. I would highly recommend Calumet Club! Everything was bueatiful/perfect from beginning to end! You won't find a better wedding coordinator than Amber!!!! She was amazing!

Incredible venue and staff. Magical and incredible photo ops and room designs without even needing a lot of decor. Amber especially made our day so easy going and stress free. We will need to name our first born child after her, because she truly made our wedding experience a DREAM. Wish I could give 20 more stars.

Deciding to go with a venue that was packed with family tradition and hard-work, gave us all the reason to consider the Calumet Club! Their inclusive packages, with so much to offer in them, wouldn't allow us to pass it up! The venue nestled in the main stretch of a quaint little city! Beautiful ballroom and all brick dinning hall! My favorite of course was the stunning bridal suite! The groom suite was glam as well! Clayton and Amber really took the extra step to make sure we were more then taken care of! Amber made my night as the bride to be, stress free and about as easy going as you can get! They both were amazing to work with!! Would HIGHLY recommend this place for great service, vendor options and packages!

The Calumet Club was the perfect venue! We had rescheduled our wedding and chose the Calumet Club and I am so glad we did! Amber and Clayton made the planning process and day of so smooth! We did the all inclusive package and couldn’t have been happier! Our guests and other vendors were also impressed with the staff and how smooth they made the whole day. Book your wedding with them and you will not regret it.

Our experience in working with the Calumet Club was positive from beginning to end. The Calumet Club offers so much in a wedding venue that others don't - all inclusive pricing for catering, a day-of wedding coordinator, ceremony & reception, DJ (although we decided to go with a band), access to two incredible "getting ready" rooms for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, the list goes on. Another item worth mentioning is the open bar package pricing - unlike most venues, the Calumet Club had a very reasonable per-guest upcharge for the upgrade. Each of the pros mentioned above were included in the package and handled exclusively by the staff at the Calumet Club. The venue staff prioritize making your big day as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. All of the items listed above may lead some to think that the Calumet Club is a "value" wedding venue. Sure, the prices are great for the level of service and care they put into your event - but the venue is BEAUTIFUL. Their renovated historic building in downtown New Albany is oozing with character that most local venues lack. The venue is also deceptively large - we had upwards of 270 guests in attendance including the band, venue staff, catering staff, etc. I would encourage anyone looking to host an event; whether it be a wedding, office Christmas party, reunion, etc. to reach out to the Calumet Club. They're doing remarkable work and not enough people are talking about it! We are certainly pleased with our decision.

They were amazing! They made our wedding so wonderful. Clayton was fun and enjoyable, he was also very helpful and stayed in contact with me up until the rehearsal and always answered all of my questions. Amber, our day of coordinator was absolutely wonderful and made sure the rehearsal and actual wedding went smooth!

Vendor was great set up, good consumer service. They made it very easy to enjoy your wedding reception with minimal stress.

Beautiful venue with a great location and the bride and groom suits are a HUGE plus! They do an amazing job making sure everything is set up and ready to go. They go above and beyond for their bride and groom. There were truly no hiccups (at least that I knew about lol) and Clayton and Katherine made everything so smooth during the whole process and day of😊

The Calumet Club was the perfect place for our reception! It offered everything we were looking for and more. The bridal suite and grooms room were fantastic. The people there are so easy to work with. Alexis the coordinator was just phenomenal. She is unreal and makes your day so smooth and stress free! I remember looking at reviews when my now husband and I were looking at places and everyone raved about her and now I know why! I highly recommend booking your wedding at the Calumet Club!

We absolutely loved the calumet! Alexis is absolutely amazing and makes the day run so smoothly and get everyone in line. I do think prices on alcohol are a little high and all the extras are a tad expensive. But our day went so smooth and everyone had so much fun!!!

This is the best venue in Southern Indiana, hands down. It's so beautiful on the inside, you just have to go see it. Pictures do not do it justice. Alexis, the coordinator, is a legit must have. She made planning the wedding easy and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. We are so thankful to have gotten married here!! They are so good at communicating with their couples. 10/10 recommend.

Our original wedding reception venue got cancelled last minute and Clayton and Alexis were able to make our dream day happen in 48 hours! Everything was perfect and we were able to enjoy the night without stressing (which was a huge relief considering we replanned a reception in less than 48 hours). I would recommend them for any wedding receptions and the venue itself is perfect!

During a pandemic, planning a wedding was more stressful than ever. Our original date was set for late March. Due to COVID, we had to make the tuff decision to cancel 10 days before our date. The Calumet Club was nothing but the most professional, easy to work with, and took the reigns in helping us find a new date that worked for us, them, and all our vendors. They made the chaos of uncertainty smooth and less stressful. Finally on our “second wedding” date, the staff took care of everything from decorating and clean up, providing masks and hand sanitizer, and making sure guests were safe from any potential health hazards. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. They took great care of us and highly recommend them for any event you need.

Not only is this venue gorgeous, but the coordinator who works for The Calumet Club, Alexis, was a godsend. She had answers to every one of my questions, was always available to answer them, brought up things I had never thought about, and had suggestions where I needed them. She helped take so much stress off of my shoulders. The bridal suites are stunning, the venue is large and beautiful, and they went above and beyond to make sure Covid precautions were taken. They offer a special package which includes the venue spaces, DJ, and caterer, which also made things so much easier for us. It was so convenient and easy that as part of the package, they had preferred vendors pre-selected, who had already worked with them and were familiar with their process. 10/10 would recommend.

The Calumet Club was the perfect venue for my perfect day! Unfortunately, due to COVID, my original wedding plan was completely ruined but Clayton with The Calumet Club was able to answer all my questions and ultimately get this thing planned within a month! Alexis, our wedding coordinator with the venue, was so wonderful. She went above and beyond working like a machine to ensure we were happy and satisfied and felt special and taken care of on our wedding day. I'm so thankful I found this venue last minute and was able to produce a beautiful wedding! Highly recommend :)

Clayton and Alexis were a dream to work with for our rescheduled COVID wedding, which was originally supposed to be at the end of March! They were extremely accommodating and flexible with our rescheduling needs and budget. Alexis made it so we never had to worry about a thing during our reception and was amazing throughout the entire process. Clayton quickly responded to any and all questions we sent about the venue and what we had access to. After a stressful season of planning, it was so nice to find such a great and organized team to make our wedding vision come to life! We would definitely recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with an outstanding staff to help them on their big day!

This venue was INCREDIBLE. First, the place is absolutely gorgeous, it has getting ready rooms to die for (seriously, I wanted to live there). They have a gorgeous ball room and an area with beautiful exposed brick. They have magical lighting everywhere already set up and included if you want it, they are super accommodating. Alexis, the bridal consultant and venue coordinator is one of the most genuinely kind, hardworking individuals I’ve ever met. She takes the time to get to know you as a person and as a couple so she can give you your perfect wedding. She has a great imagination and will make your vision come true. She was there for us every step of the way, was always accessible and friendly, and made our wedding an absolute dream come true. It was even better than I had imagined, worth every penny we spent, and honestly if this review hasn’t convinced you to book your wedding there, go there and ask them to talk to me because I could go on forever about how perfect our experience there was. Everything was easy and we had no hiccups, everyone was professional and kind, every inch of the venue is so beautiful (we used all the rooms and I have wedding photos to prove how breathtaking it was) and if I could choose again, I’d get married there over and over every time. Do yourself a favor and chose this place. Your wedding will be magical from the venue to the staff to the companies they work with.

We were so thankful for Alexis. She went above and beyond for our day to be perfect, and it was! She arranged a video system for my grandma who was ill, so she could watch our ceremony from the hospital. Unfortunately my grandma did not see it but I tell everyone this story. This is why I strongly recommend the Calumet Club! We still get told to this day our wedding was one of the best they’ve been to. Thanks for making our day perfect!

I have attended several weddings here and also have been a part of a wedding party here. All of my experiences at the Calumet Club have been great! When my best friend got married we had access to the bridal suite all day and they were so accommodating to us! And then every other wedding I have attended has been exceptional as well and nothing but a great time!

We attended an event here at the beginning of the year and we were super impressed!! The revenue was stunning and very easy to navigate. We had the chance to tell Alexis (the event coordinator) how much we were enjoying ourselves and she was super friendly, as were all the staff that worked that day. I’m very much looking forward to going back for another friend’s reception this summer!

I have been to two weddings at this venue and it was beautiful both times. The set up provides ease to sit and eat comfortably, grab drinks, watch the cake cutting and get to the dance floor. It’s truly a wonderful location with a great staff!!!

My wife and I got married at the Calumet Club and it was nothing short of fantastic. The coordinator, Alexis, is amazing and knowledgeable. We used the Club for the Rehearsal Dinner, the Wedding, and the Reception. Not to mention the on-site travel agency, which we used for our Honeymoon! This is truly a one-stop-shop, which during planning a wedding, was HUGE for us. We utilized the intimacy of the downstairs room for our service and moved everyone upstairs for cocktails, dinner, and dancing. The upstairs ballroom is beautifully decorated with tall ceilings and wrap around balcony. The bar service was excellent and efficient. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a venue with people who know how to make your day perfect!

I have had a few events at The Calumet Club including a rehearsal dinner, a baby shower, and a surprise birthday party! I have attended many other events there as well. They are always super helpful and respond very quickly to any questions or concerns. The venue itself is beautiful and versatile and can cater to any event needs! I would highly suggest The Calumet Club for your next event!

AMAZING!!

We attended a wedding reception at the Calumet Club in October and it was perfect. The space is open and beautiful! We were seated on the upper level and still felt very apart of everything. The food was great and bar service was excellent too. Would recommend for any event or party!

The Calumet Club is a perfect location for your wedding and/or reception. Not only is the Ballroom stunning, I have been a guest at numerous events there, and it served as a perfect backdrop to the special day/s. Very clean and very conducive to large crowds. I highly recommend.

Family owned and operated in the heart of Uptown New Albany this event Hall as a venue to fit whatever size wedding you want. It's centrally located between Southern Indiana cities and minutes from Louisville, KY. The Bliss family will make sure your event is exactly as you dreamed it would be!

My husband and I held our wedding reception in Bliss Ballroom in October of 2016. We had such a wonderful time throughout the planning process and the big day! We booked the ballroom about a year in advance and there was always a speedy response to our questions. My husbands entire family traveled from the Chicago area and they were very impressed with a beauty and size of the space. We had 230 guests and never once did we feel cramped. Alexis was the best coordinator we could have asked for, she made sure everything ran smoothly and even made our plates for us in the buffet line. We highly recommend the Calumet Club to all of our friends and we will be back for more events in the future!!

The venue was beautiful! There was a bridal suite and grooms room with plenty of space to get ready and they were both so nice! The reception hall was spacious and had plenty of room for tables and for dancing. The woman Alexis who put everything together for us did a phenomenal job and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend having your wedding ceremony, reception, family reunion, or holiday party at the Calumet Club. They are an amazing venue great for any occasion.

My fiancee and I toured many different venues in the Louisville and Southern Indiana area before both happily agreeing on the beautiful and historic Calumet Club. If we could go back and do it all over again, we would have saved the extra time spent elsewhere and just wen't straight for the Calumet Club! We could not have been more please with our experience there. Everything was perfect. Calumet Club took the stress out of wedding planning by providing us with vendor options for all of our needs. While other venues had a limited selection of options, Calumet Club offered everything from budget friendly choices to the extravagant. They even host bridal/wedding shows so you can try out the delicious food from their catering partners, talk to their fun and smooth MCs, and take in the beautiful decorating options. After all of our choices were made, we eagerly awaited our special day. Once that day came, Calumet Club made everything perfect. Our wedding coordinator, Alexis, reassured us with the energetic confidence of someone who clearly knows what they are doing. My now wife and I only had to worry about having a good time and taking in the moment. Everything else was handled. Calumet Club was even flexible enough to make some literally last minute changes to our reception to make our day perfect. I highly recommend Calumet Club. You couldn't ask for better people or a better venue!

It is a beautiful venue and Alexis is a godsend! I loved everything about this venue and everything was made really easy for us. The bridal suite and the grooms room were fantastic! Extremely spacious and I loved the hair chair and mirror set up in the bridal suite! Alexis was amazing and made everything go smoothly! She was very helpful during the planning process and was quick to respond when I had any questions. On the day of, she anticipated every need we could possibly have. She made everyone feel really relaxed and taken care of, which is so important since weddings can be extremely stressful. I would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone getting married in the area!

I really cannot say enough about Lexi, your contact for your event. She made sure everything was thought of beforehand and on day-of, everything was taken care of, nothing had to be done from our end. If it hadn’t been for Lexi, we would have had to get a wedding planner.

The Calumet club was the most amazing venue for our wedding ceremony and reception! My husband and I loved the articheture of the venue and decided it would be perfect even without decorations. Our own decorations only intensified the beauty of the venue and made it more personalized. It was spacious and clean, and the perfect intimate and romantic atmosphere! Not only did we love the venue, but we were very very pleased after meeting the amazing individuals who help coordinate the entire event! Alexis the wedding coordinator was always available when we needed her and was there througout the entire day: before, during and after the ceremony and reception! She assisted us in so many ways and was a true delight to get to know and to work with! I would highly reccomend the Calumet Club to anyone looking for an amazing wedding venue and an awesome wedding coordinator!
