hree weeks of the planning process were UNBELIEVABLY IMPRESSIVE! Less than three weeks before the wedding, Hurricane Ida hit our state. Prior to the hurricane, Kelli contacted me to check in. She assured me she would stay in contact (and she did!) The hurricane hit, and NOLA was without electricity for days! Kelli called again, and assured me that once the electricity was back on in NOLA, she would quickly assess the venue and do what was needed to enable us to have a wedding. The staff at the CANNERY worked tirelessly to make the tight deadline to pull off a reception! THEIR LOYALTY to our family event was impressive! The reception was magical! The event decorations were breathtaking! The service was outstanding! The food was amazing! Our guest used the words PERFECTION to describe our reception! Selecting the Cannery for our reception was the best decision!

food was DELICIOUS! People are still talking about the food from my wedding. The bartenders were engaging and fun! You cannot go wrong with The Cannery!

. They have adapted well throughout the pandemic. They have so much décor. It was a relief not to worry about renting chairs, linens, etc. due to the Cannery having just about everything you could need other than flowers, cake, and photographer. We were incredibly satisfied with our experience with Kellie, our attendant Lynn, and the whole staff. It is a classy, beautiful venue, and they make you feel special. We could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else. The lighting options, the alcohol options. Everything was outstanding. Our guests raved about the food.

After looking at several different venues in the city prior to choosing The Cannery, I came to realize that because weddings are such big business in New Orleans people cut corners and sometimes do the bare minimum. The Cannery is in direct opposition of this. The venue is impeccably clean and well-maintained. It is very clear that they take pride in what they do and the service they provide. The only slight drawback that I could say is that sometimes getting answers to questions and e-mail response was a bit slow. But based on how happy we were with how the evening went, it didn't effect my overall satisfaction.

This was a lot to ask for and nearly impossible to find in New Orleans. When I saw The Cannery online, I absolutely loved how chic it was. But, I was extremely nervous by the lack of reviews of its food and venue. DO NOT LET THIS SCARE YOU. The Cannery was one of the best decisions I made with my wedding. The staff will bend over backwards to make sure your day is perfect! People still rave about the food to me, 4 months later. These are also people who grew up in New Orleans who can also be the biggest food snobs! I wish Toulouse Gourmet (The Cannery caterers) would open a restaurant because the food was THAT good. The Cannery wedding planners will set everything up for you and make sure it is set up perfectly so on your wedding day, you can relax. The Cannery's furniture is absolutely gorgeous!! The way the venue is already decorated is so chic with the best accessories. The only decor I brought in was floral decorations for the tables. The Cannery can be perfect for chic yet simple weddings to over the top wedding and it will be so gorgeous! The Cannery staff does little things that go a long way to making your wedding perfect! They truly understand how a wedding reception should work and make it flow so seamlessly! For example, passed champagne on guests arrival comes with their most basic package. The location is very safe! As long as you meet the catering minimum, they will work with your budget on food and make sure it is the best food possible. My husband and I are such foodies and yet we wanted to stay within our budget. We got appetizers like mini tuna tacos with mango salsa, mini chicken and waffles, delicious savory cheesecakes, slider bar with cochon de lait, pulled pork and alligator sausage among a lot of other things. They are so happy to work with you on everything. Instead of a regular crudites and dip basic station that every wedding has, we had hummus, savory cheesecakes and the best hot crawfish and tasso dip. The Cannery knows exactly what they are doing and are the best in the business! Rusty and Kellie and the rest of their staff is so so amazing. My wedding day was the easiest and most gorgeous day of my life, especially because of The Cannery.
