The Capital on Carondelet

e elegant, timeless wedding that I wanted perfectly. My husband and I loved having our pictures taken on to roof and having a private moment to eat on the balcony before entering our reception. Thank you so much for making our day perfect!

ny out-of-towners coming in for the wedding, it was important for us to give them the best New Orleans experience. And did Brittani and the team at the Capital deliver!! The architecture of this building stands on its own. You can see from the picture what they offer for ambiance and mood. It is undeniably the most beautiful space we visited and our color palette and floral design worked beautifully with the building. But what you can't capture in pictures is the team at the Capital. From the security guard in the lobby, to every single person who was part of the planning process and the night itself, they all captured the essence of the New Orleans community. So many guests came up to us afterwards and mentioned how kind and over-the-top accommodating the team was throughout the night. They walked around and asked guests if there was anything they could do for them and I proudly responded to our guests - this is New Orleans, you'll never meet a stranger here! It warmed our hearts hearing that the team went out of their way for the comfort of our guests. And Patsy more than took care of me and my husband - she was so funny and a complete rockstar!! And the food...we sat with Michelle during our tasting and she was so helpful with her recommendations. The gumbo - whoa! - delish! And everyone raved about the shrimp & grits and crabcakes, to name a few. The food was a hit among guests and our dinner off to the side was wonderful as guests enjoyed their cocktail hour. Discussions about the bar menu were hysterical as we had many Bourbon and Tequila "connoisseurs" as guests. The Capital was very flexible with us on the liquor choices and guests loved their margarita and old fashions throughout the night. Hats off to the BARTENDERS!!!!! Thank you to everyone at The Capital for helping us create one of the best nights of our lives. If you’re thinking about booking this place for your big day — DO IT. You won’t regret it, and they will make sure everything aligns with your vision for your special day.

making sure we had the perfect set up for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Her and her team helped the evening flow so seamlessly. There are so many perks to hosting your event at the Capital. Firstly, the rooftop was the perfect place to do our first look and private vows. The pictures with the city in the background are stunning. Inside, the architecture was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony - that combined with the flowers and lighting made everything feel so romantic and dreamy. One of our favorite moments was going up on the balcony after the ceremony to eat together (best food ever btw!) while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour and the space was flipped. It was awesome to watch the space transform and see all the planning we did for the event come together thanks to the amazing team at the Capital and all of their help! It was a great moment for us to just take in the day and have some time alone together before the real party began. The beautiful architecture/history of the venue, the outstanding team working behind the scenes, and the delicious food simply can't be beat. So many of our guests have told us it was the best wedding they've attended. Highly recommend!!

l though is Michele, Brittani and Johnny Adams. They have been leaders in the New Orleans wedding industry for years and have the experience and passion to make your wedding what you want it to be. They don't do cookie- cutter weddings. Each wedding is unique to your vision and they can make you feel at ease on your wedding day knowing that they have the details covered. The food is also fantastic. It is a culinary delight of New Orleans best dishes that will rival any local restaurant. The corn and crab bisque is fabulous! 5 stars! I highly recommend The Capital on Baronne for any bride looking for a classy, beautiful, elegant venue that is run with the upmost professionalism.
