About this vendor
Based out of Miami, FL but providing their services throughout the world, The Cardonas are wedding photographers and filmmakers. A husband-and-wife team, they strive to create photographs and videos with honesty and visual consideration. Rendering moving and still images with a light and airy quality full of romance and sophistication, the duo provides couples with lasting reminders of their special day.
JP and Camille are the visual artists behind The Cardonas. They have known each other since they were little, forming a friendship before falling in love later in life. Each brings their own unique angle to the team. Camille previously worked in social work, and this experience has allowed her to develop her abilities to talk with others and make them feel at ease. She is also apt at editing, attending to many of the final touches with attention and care. JP studied photography and videography in school as well as earning a degree in music production and sound engineering. This combined knowledge enables him to use his understanding of the practical aspects of the industry to create high-quality videos.
The Cardonas offer multiple packages and they can document both your wedding as well as take your engagement photos. Communication is key to the photographic team, as well as getting to know who you are as a couple. JP and Camille take the time to gather these many details through discussions with you. After your wedding, final images are edited to match colors accurately and the team uses both film and digital mediums during your event. Taking photographs and videos that are documented in a naturalistic manner is of great importance to JP and Camille. You then walk away with an album that depicts each detail with care and in a visually striking way.

l how passionate they are about their work and making our wedding a dream come true. They made me and my husband feel spectacular throughout the wedding day and truly captured our love in such an organic and effortless way. The package we got had 9 hrs of coverage with 2 photographers, 2 videographers, and an assistant who made our day just seamless and got all of the coverage we wanted. The sneak peak shots have us on the edge of our seats waiting for the rest!!! I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

hots I really wanted, helped me feel comfortable and relaxed during our engagement and wedding photo shoots, and were so creative with their shots. I adored how my photos came out and there were SO many to choose from. Even after they sent the photos and video over to me post-wedding, they were wonderful in editing a few items that I requested. They were professional, fun, and so easy to work with... EXACTLY what you want during this time. Such a great team - absolutely 5 star review and worth the price!!!

- The Cardonas being one of them. We are SO thankful that we looked into them. JP & Camille have this calming vibe to them which is the best thing you'll need on your wedding day. We were able to meet them and talk about our vision for our wedding day... and to be honest, I had never thought about what I wanted my wedding day to look like and they helped me bring the vision out I didn't even know I had. Unfortunately, due to COVID we had to reschedule our wedding twice and JP & Camille were very understanding of our situation and gave us their available dates so we were able to make a decision with their availability in mind. When it came to wedding day, the Cardonas listened to everything we had talked about in our meetings and made that vision come to life! Every single time I watch our video, I am so thankful for them because we get to relive that moment for the rest of our lives. Thank you, JP & Camille!

work with, and incredibly talented. They were so organized and reviewed all important details with us before the wedding to assure they would capture our vision and deliver just what we wanted. Not only were they super prepared, but they were also so flexible. Due to COVID, my husband and I had many last minuet changes with our wedding and the Cardonas handled all the changes with happiness and ease. It was such an enjoyable experience to work with them and I could not recommend them more! I can’t say enough about the quality of work that they provide, our photography and wedding video exceeded all of my expectations and I will cherish the memories that they gave us forever. I really hope to have the privilege to be able to work with them again in the future!

Experiencing your own wedding can feel like a blur. But as we look back on the moments The Cardonas documented, we're thankful for their attention to detail.

y were a perfect fit when they were already preparing an initial timeline. Not only did JP and Camille explore our photo and video preferences, but they took the time to get to know us as a couple and reflect that in our content. On our wedding day, they arrived with their team extremely prepared and ready to jump into the chaos. They made us feel comfortable, and they made sure to get our must-have shots even when we were running short on time. They were also very prepared when we had a last-minute change to our ceremony location due to rain. We’re extremely happy with our decision to trust JP, Camille, and their team with our wedding photos/video and we can’t recommend them enough!
Highly recommend these photographers for any special event.

e doing a photoshoot and beforehand he told me that he was nervous... afterwards, he said he had so much fun and was surprised at howcomfortable he felt with Camille and JP. Our photos turned out absolutely beautifully and now have pride of place on our living room wall, everyone who visits us comments on how lovely the photos are! The creative skills they have are second to none. Throughout our photoshoot new inspirations and ideas kept coming to them, and they were always spot on! We absolutely love our photos and will be treasuring them for the rest of our lives. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Camille and JP in Paris and we can’t wait to see them again next time they visit Europe... to anyone considering booking them... do it! our wedding from across the country and they made this process so seamless and easy for us. They were approachable, quick to reply and easy to reach from the start. The weeks leading up to our wedding, The Cardonas helped us created our day of timeline and they made sure to fit in enough time for all the photos we wanted. The Cardonas really helped our big day run smoothly, they arrived on time, they were professional, they were friendly and polite, they truly captured every moment. We are so happy with the photos and video from our wedding and feel so lucky to have these memories captured in such a beautiful way. We 10 out of 10 recommend The Cardonas. They are an amazing team and you are in the best hands with them alongside you on your big. The Cardonas feel like family to us and we cannot thank them enough!
My husband and I are not photo people. We don’t like to pose, take a bunch of pics, especially in front of others! So going into our wedding weekend, I was a little nervous about h...
ow the whole process would be with our photographers. From beginning to end, JP and Camille where absolutely professional, caring, detail oriented, timely and made the entire experience so comfortable and even fun for us. They went above and beyond in every aspect, arriving a day early to scope the event areas and be fully prepared for the day of wedding. On the day of our wedding they arrived nice and early, they covered every detail, nothing felt rushed, the pace was perfect. I am so happy looking back at the entire process as well as the end product, our photos are perfect. Thank you to the Cardonas! Highly recommend them.

tly naturals in front of the camera, but Camille and JP guided us throughout the whole process and helped us overcome some of the awkwardness that comes with posing. Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they are also the nicest couple and so easy to work with. They took our engagement photos, as well as our wedding photos and my husband and I are absolutely obsessed with how they all came out. Camille and JP both have an incredible vision and attention to detail, which makes for the absolute best photos. My husband and I have beautiful memories to last us a lifetime, thanks to The Cardonas. I cannot recommend them enough - you will not be disappointed!
Where do I begin? Camille and JP make such an amazing team and have made multiple photoshoots the most relaxed and seamless. My husband is far from comfortable in front of a camera...
, yet with them, he enjoys the sessions! My photos are absolutely beautiful always, and their vision creates the most ordinary poses to magic. I have used them for a few milestones, and will continue to use them for years to come!
Where can we even begin? From the moment we first met with JP and Camille we had an instant connection. We both were engaged in Paris and shared a love for the special city. JP and...
Camille were beyond professional and took the time to answer all the questions I had prepared because I was looking for something very specific. I had interviewed about 3 other photographers/videographers prior to them, but once we met, I knew they would be the perfect fit. They were able to create a customized package for us since I had a very specific vision about the video I wanted. They truly went above and beyond, Camille even helped send me outfit choices for our engagement shoot, and was bitten by mosquitoes from head to toe during our pre-wedding video shoot making sure to get the absolute best shots, trooper!
On our wedding day, they were prompt, equipped, professional, and followed a strict timeline to make sure we got everything we asked for. The final product was beyond beautiful, every moment, every tear, every smile was captured so beautifully in both picture and film. We will treasure these memories for the rest of our lives and we could not be more grateful to have had them there throughout the entire planning process and wedding day. Thank you both so much! We can't wait to work with you guys again in the future.

I can say 100% that I couldn’t have chose a better photography team and I have zero regret in my decision. From the minute that I wrote to them just asking questions, they were the...
most genuine and kind souls. They took into account everything we wanted for our pictures. They made the entire experience so personal yet so professional. On the day of the wedding they made the experience such a breeze. They guide you into poses that make you feel beautiful and confident and they also capture just the raw candid moments. They did not miss a beat. They took their time in capturing so many moments. They also encouraged you throughout the day. Genuine kindness. Although we did not do videography, all of their wedding videos are to die for! They truly capture your perfect day. They also have a really quick turn around and don’t make you wait really long to get your pictures. When I received them, I truly felt like I could relive the whole day through them. Every single moment was captured from beginning to end. I really can’t thank them enough for everything they did to make our day so special. If you’re considering them for your big day.. all I have to say is BOOK THEM!! You will not regret it!!
JP and Camille could not have done a better job at filming and editing my wedding video! I first approached them with the idea that I wanted to tell OUR story and not so much just ...
capture the “wedding”. My husband and I have been together for over a decade and I wanted to make sure that our history translated into the video. We set up a quick session the week before our wedding to sit down and record us sharing how we met and our feelings about the future. Best of all they elevated our words by choosing clips from the wedding to match what we were sharing. It was the most magical day of our life and we can watch this video 10x and still find elements that make us say wow! Thank you for creating this beautiful memory for us! I am so glad we choose you both!
It was a true pleasure working with the Cardonas! The video they created captured our day perfectly. They were genuine, professional, and lovely to work with. We're so happy we cho...

We worked with the Cardonas for videography for our 2-day Indian-American fusion wedding. We recently received our full-length wedding trailer and are thrilled with the result. JP ...
and Camille captured the emotion, energy, and color of our wedding weekend masterfully – impressive on its own given we had two religious ceremonies and two major receptions, and even more impressive considering ours was the first Indian wedding they had shot. JP and Camille were also lovely people to work with – always smiling, always patient, both with quiet, calming presences. I would recommend their videography without reservation for any wedding, including for Indian weddings which can be a specialized skill.
Although I wish I can put into words what an amazing job The Cardonas did at our wedding, and honestly speaking (trying not to be bias) there aren't any words or actions to describ...
e what an incredible job they did. From the very start their worth ethic really showed through little details such as gifting us with a wooden engraved pizza board (our wedding was pizza theme) to spending the time over the phone to capture exactly what we wanted to the day of they were so patient and kind. We honestly couldn't have picked a better couple than the Cardonas to capture our special day. Jp ensure that every thing was running smoothly and by the timeline and Camille making sure I was kept calm and not bother by the insignificant stuff that were out of my control! Our pictures are absolutely BREATHTAKING , they really went above and beyond and it shows in their work ! We are so happy we will always have these pictures to look back on our special day! THANK YOU JP AND CAMILLE :)
