Based out of Miami, FL but providing their services throughout the world, The Cardonas are wedding photographers and filmmakers. A husband-and-wife team, they strive to create photographs and videos with honesty and visual consideration. Rendering moving and still images with a light and airy quality full of romance and sophistication, the duo provides couples with lasting reminders of their special day.
JP and Camille are the visual artists behind The Cardonas. They have known each other since they were little, forming a friendship before falling in love later in life. Each brings their own unique angle to the team. Camille previously worked in social work, and this experience has allowed her to develop her abilities to talk with others and make them feel at ease. She is also apt at editing, attending to many of the final touches with attention and care. JP studied photography and videography in school as well as earning a degree in music production and sound engineering. This combined knowledge enables him to use his understanding of the practical aspects of the industry to create high-quality videos.
The Cardonas offer multiple packages and they can document both your wedding as well as take your engagement photos. Communication is key to the photographic team, as well as getting to know who you are as a couple. JP and Camille take the time to gather these many details through discussions with you. After your wedding, final images are edited to match colors accurately and the team uses both film and digital mediums during your event. Taking photographs and videos that are documented in a naturalistic manner is of great importance to JP and Camille. You then walk away with an album that depicts each detail with care and in a visually striking way.

They made me and my husband feel spectacular throughout the wedding day and truly captured our love in such an organic and effortless way. The package we got had 9 hrs of coverage with 2 photographers, 2 videographers, and an assistant who made our day just seamless and got all of the coverage we wanted. I adored how my photos came out and there were SO many to choose from. Even after they sent the photos and video over to me post-wedding, they were wonderful in editing a few items that I requested. Unfortunately, due to COVID we had to reschedule our wedding twice and JP & Camille were very understanding of our situation and gave us their available dates so we were able to make a decision with their availability in mind. When it came to wedding day, the Cardonas listened to everything we had talked about in our meetings and made that vision come to life! Not only did JP and Camille explore our photo and video preferences, but they took the time to get to know us as a couple and reflect that in our content. On our wedding day, they arrived with their team extremely prepared and ready to jump into the chaos. They made us feel comfortable, and they made sure to get our must-have shots even when we were running short on time. They were also very prepared when we had a last-minute change to our ceremony location due to rain. Camille were beyond professional and took the time to answer all the questions I had prepared because I was looking for something very specific. I had interviewed about 3 other photographers/videographers prior to them, but once we met, I knew they would be the perfect fit. They were able to create a customized package for us since I had a very specific vision about the video I wanted. They truly went above and beyond, Camille even helped send me outfit choices for our engagement shoot, and was bitten by mosquitoes from head to toe during our pre-wedding video shoot making sure to get the absolute best shots, trooper!
On our wedding day, they were prompt, equipped, professional, and followed a strict timeline to make sure we got everything we asked for. The final product was beyond beautiful, every moment, every tear, every smile was captured so beautifully in both picture and film. and Camille captured the emotion, energy, and color of our wedding weekend masterfully – impressive on its own given we had two religious ceremonies and two major receptions, and even more impressive considering ours was the first Indian wedding they had shot. JP and Camille were also lovely people to work with – always smiling, always patient, both with quiet, calming presences. I would recommend their videography without reservation for any wedding, including for Indian weddings which can be a specialized skill.
