The Carriage House

The Carriage House is a historically modern wedding and event venue in the heart of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The space is over 120 years old and has been recently transformed into a beautiful venue with the client experience being the number one focus. TCH offers an intimate feel, being surrounded by those you love. Below are the details to reserve this space for your most special day. Capacity - The Carriage House can accommodate 200 guests both indoor and outdoor Facilities - The Carriage House features a beautiful courtyard and veranda, lending an amazing space for an outdoor ceremony. A tent rental is also available if you wish to hold the reception outside as well. Inside The Carriage House, it is a very warm and intimate feel. It includes different rooms such as the loft and preparation suite upstairs and a second preparation suite in the basement. The main floor is typically where the reception would be held and an indoor ceremony. Please note, there are elements to this venue that may pose a challenge for handicap accessibility. However, the main floor is ground level. Vendors - The Carriage House is proud partners with several wonderful vendors. We help our clients find premium vendors for their budget and vision. We have a network of professionals including but not limited to: catering, desserts, photography, floral and decor, wedding planning/day-of-coordination, DJs, hair and makeup, wedding attire, etc.
