The most dreamy venue for your intimate wedding! I got married here a little over a year ago, and still look back on how perfect our day was. The courtyard is a beautiful space for the ceremony, and carries inside to the reception space. Each space was so thoughtfully designed from the suites, to the bar, to the rustic loft, you will not regret having your wedding at The Carriage House! The Day of Coordination service was a no-brainer and took all the stress off for the wedding day! Truly the best day ever!

The Carriage House is a historically modern wedding and event venue in the heart of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The space is over 120 years old and has been recently transformed into a beautiful venue with the client experience being the number one focus. TCH offers an intimate feel, being surrounded by those you love. Below are the details to reserve this space for your most special day. Capacity - The Carriage House can accommodate 200 guests both indoor and outdoor Facilities - The Carriage House features a beautiful courtyard and veranda, lending an amazing space for an outdoor ceremony. A tent rental is also available if you wish to hold the reception outside as well. Inside The Carriage House, it is a very warm and intimate feel. It includes different rooms such as the loft and preparation suite upstairs and a second preparation suite in the basement. The main floor is typically where the reception would be held and an indoor ceremony. Please note, there are elements to this venue that may pose a challenge for handicap accessibility. However, the main floor is ground level. Vendors - The Carriage House is proud partners with several wonderful vendors. We help our clients find premium vendors for their budget and vision. We have a network of professionals including but not limited to: catering, desserts, photography, floral and decor, wedding planning/day-of-coordination, DJs, hair and makeup, wedding attire, etc.

A hidden gem! We got so many compliments about our venue. It was the perfect size for our 50 guest wedding, but it could easily accommodate a few dozen more. There is a beautiful b...

ridal suite upstairs for getting ready in the morning and fun man cave downstairs for the men, complete with a few arcade games, dartboard, and a "vault" full of special spirits and cigars. The venue was refurbished a few years ago. Tracy was pleasant to work with and typically responds to non-urgent messages in a day or two. The only issues guests had were parking, but good signage can help with that. We were able to hold our ceremony and reception at the Carriage House, making for an easy, amazing experience for us and our guests.
