The Castle at Rockwall

The Castle at Rockwall was a dream come true! This place has was so easy to work with, and they have such amazing built in character, including a photobooth! My guests loved the amazing photobooth closet, and the venue was so gorgeous to begin with that I only had to add some simple touches throughout to make it my own. The coordinators were so patient with me as I moved my tables around, and answered any questions I had within a day. I would recommend this venue over and over again!

This was the best decision we made! We were so happy with Angela and her staff prior to the wedding day and the day of. Everyone was helpful and everything went off without a hitch! It was as perfect as we could have imagined.

We got married here 12/1/2018 and it was perfect! He proposed out front so it made choosing our wedding venue pretty easy. All my guests raved about how beautiful the architecture was and everyone LOVED the photo booth. We got our pictures back 2 days after the wedding so it was a great turnaround time! The bride and groom suites are very roomy. They come with a full bathroom so you can shower if needed. I was worried about having so many people in the suites with us but they were very spacious and was not an issue on the day of. Angela, our contact, was very helpful with our many questions and visits leading up to the day of. I highly recommend this venue!

Getting married at The Castle was a fairy tale dream come true. It was the 1st venue we looked at and we immediately knew it was the perfect one for us. As we drove up for our 1st tour I couldn’t stop smiling and as we walked around I could visualize exactly how our wedding would look. We were married on 10/13/18 and even though the day was rainy, we were drenched while unloading all of items to set up, and there was a leak at the front door our day was flawless. Once we were inside and set up we were in a fairy tale. The gentleman who was there was extremely helpful and accommodating. Also working with Angela throughout the process was stress free as she ensured all of our questions were answered. As we were eating dinner the ceremony room was “flipped” into the dance floor with our DJ setting up in front of the fireplace with two tables on each side allowing plenty of room for tons of dancing! We loved photo booth and separate bar area as we had ample room to set up a “trick or treat” goodie table for our guests to grab sweet treats while filling up their glasses. We had so much fun we weren’t ready for our reception to end nor were our guests. I’ve always heard to be prepared because something will go wrong but I can honestly say our wedding was PERFECTION and our dream come true in this GORGEOUS venue!

Upon visiting the Castle we fell in love with it. During the middle of planning there was ownership changes so we had some communication problems. We had one hour available to use for engagement pictures which was great! They also give you an hour of rehearsal time on the day you choose if it's available. They double booked us on rehearsal day, BUT Angela did go out of her way to make it up to us and we ended up being able to have our rehearsal that day anyways. You have to use their in-house caterer which at the time was Culinary Art Catering. We didn't feel like they did a good job at communicating with us which was frustrating at times. However, the food, the waiters, and bartenders from the company were all amazing we had no complaints at all they did such a great job. Since then The Castle now has a new in-house caterer. They also didn't have a day-of-coordinator available after the ownership change which was something we wanted. Overall our experience was great and if I could do it all over again I would. The venue exceeded all my expectations. Our wedding was beautiful and everything turned out great. Despite my minor issues I had a great experience and I highly recommend this venue!!!

We had a DREAM wedding at The Castle! The value was a big factor for us. They gave us 12 hours plus one hour for our vendors to load out, time for an engagement shoot, an hour for a rehearsal, the in-house photobooth (a GREAT HIT with our guests) and they never hesitated to answer any questions in all the months leading up to the big day. They even worked with us to let us in the facility early on our wedding day to do the rehearsal that same day. We had a fairly large guest list (135 people) and there was plenty of space for everyone to have fun. We also got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS on the venue from everyone, and it made the perfect backdrop for all our photos. Honestly can't say enough good things.

I give the Castle at Rockwall 4 stars only because there was some confusion during our planning process due to ownership changes. I loved our wedding venue nonetheless! It was just like a fairytale dream!

We had our wedding and reception at the Castle and Dennis was our photographer. Everything was absolutely perfect; Linda and Sofia were so helpful with accommodating our requests, and Dennis's photos turned out beautifully. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We fell in love with The Castle immediately! The staff is so awesome and welcoming during the entire experience. Your money goes a long way, the property is stunning, they are super accommodating. I could really go on and on about how great of an experience we had.

This venue was absolutely amazing and we couldn't have been happier with having our wedding there! We used it for both our ceremony and reception with about 120 people attending. I loved it from the very beginning when we booked them - they are so communicative and choosing this as the venue was like practically having a one-stop shop. They had preferred and recommended vendors for every aspect of the wedding, eliminating my need for a wedding planner. We ended up going with their recommendation for DJ, florals, and the cakes, and all of them were top-notch vendors in their own right who I will be referring to others. You do have to use the catering company they contract with (Culinary Art Catering) but we were not at all disappointed. We received several compliments from guests saying it was delicious not just as wedding food but as a real dinner. The Castle is very willing to work with you on all details of your day and there is always someone on-site there to help you, so you will have someone to go to if a coordinator or planner falls through. It's also nice that they give you the venue for the entire day starting at 11am. We didn't have to rush to get in or out and it was fun spending time with the bridesmaids in the bridal room (the groom and groomsmen get their own room too). It is also a beautiful venue for pictures - once we were finished with the family and wedding party photos, the groom and I had our own photo shoot inside and outside of the Castle. There are so many beautiful areas to choose from that our pictures look like we were at several different venues. The photo booth for the reception is included and was a huge hit. Our guests loved using it and we were even sent a digital download of all the photos that were taken in it! Some fun memories. To sum it all up, we had a wonderful time at our wedding, received tons of compliments on the venue from guests, there were no last-minute issues that came up, and I highly recommend them to everyone not just for the beauty of the venue but for how stress-free having our wedding there was!!

Absolutely gorgeous venue. When you first turn off the dirt road and see it, the Castle has such a wow factor! All of our guests loved the venue and the built in photo booth was a big hit! I know the groom and groomsmen enjoyed the included video game consoles, too! Linda was super flexible when it came to me needing extra time for my bridal portraits and hair and makeup, and she always had an answer for me when I had a question! Super awesome, fun, gorgeous venue.

An amazing place in a lovely location! The inside reflects a more modern decor while the outside manages to look like a fairy tale. The staff are kind and generous and clearly care about each wedding so you don't end up feeling like you're just another event going through the space. It feels like this reads as an infomercial for the castle, but I genuinely do love everything about this space and have been so honored to be able to watch it grow and thrive in Rockwall!

I had my wedding at The Castle last year, and it was PERFECT! I originally liked The Castle because it was SO beautiful and grand, however, I knew it was the venue for me when I not only saw the gorgeous venue in person but met their great staff as well as saw how willing they were to work with us. They don't nickel and dime you for every little thing, which is so rare in wedding venues! I love that they do their absolute best to make sure and give you the best value possible. I was also planning my wedding long distance, so I could only visit every so often. I thought my OCD personality would be disappointed with long distance planning, but the staff took the time to write detailed responses to my every question and ensured we were on the same page. They were all around wonderful! Our guests were blown away by the venue. The bridal and groom suites were perfect for getting ready in, and there was plenty of space for our 100+ guest wedding. We also used their in-house photographer and he was absolutely wonderful! Our pictures were sooo amazing and delivered quickly! I am so happy to look back on my wedding day with nothing but happiness, with a big thank you to The Castle!

There is not enough space here for us to fully give The Castle at Rockwall all the praise and thanks they deserve. Linda and Sophia are amazing people that not only went over and beyond to make sure that our wedding was perfect, but made us feel like we were apart of their family. Everyone was taken away by the grandiose venue's appearance and atmosphere and had the most amazing time. Any quick, last minute changes needed before and during the ceremony and reception were swiftly accomplished with such care and professionalism. If you want to have a magical event at a place ran by loving people, then we highly recommend you choose The Castle at Rockwall. We can't thank The Castle family enough.

Perfect fairytale wedding!

We got married on a very rainy day. The castle was an amazing venue regardless of how dreary it was outdoors. Their staff was very helpful and kind. They made us feel like everything was under control and we didn't have to worry about a thing. What a beautiful place to get married. If I could do it all over again, there are some things about my wedding that I would change but the venue does not fall into that category. That was the best choice we made. Thank you guys for everything!

If I could give this venue more than 5 stars I absolutely would. The Castle is a BEAUTIFUL venue and it really felt like a fairy tale to get married there. Linda, Alicia, and Sofia are amazing. My fiancé and I visited many different venues before we went to the Castle and this was the one venue that truly felt like we were being welcomed into a family. Linda and her family are truly people who I feel like I will have a connection with for the rest of my life. They were kind, helpful, encouraging, and willing to help out no matter what. This venue has the most beautiful and perfect layout and is set far enough away from the city to where you feel like you are in your own dream world but close enough to make it easy for your guests to get to. From day one, Linda and her team made the planning as easy as possible for us. They truly care, and I feel like that is a rare thing in the wedding industry. I also have to give Dennis Kam a shout-out. He does the photography for the Castle (completely optional-they do not push him on you if you book the venue-you can choose who ever for your vendors). I immediately fell in love with Dennis' pictures looking through his wedding books. He truly cares about your wedding and worked his butt off trying to get the pictures that I wanted for the wedding. I would highly recommend using him if you book the Castle. and I would definitely recommend the Castle to anyone who asks!

I can not begin to describe the amazing experience we had with this place as our venue. The place is absolutely beautiful and the family that runs this place are simply the best! They were always a phone call or email away and more than willing to help put together the perfect day for you. We also used their in house photographer Dennis and our pictures came out amazing! He got everything I wanted and more!

LOVED this venue!! It was absolutely beautiful, and the staff was wonderful to work with. I loved that we had options to arrange the rooms any way we wanted, and the staff had a plan to escort late guests through a back room in order to avoid disrupting the ceremony. The bar setup was great, and the included photo booth gave some GREAT blackmail worthy pictures of guests :)

My dream wedding literally would not have been possible without the Castle at Rockwall. My (now) husband and I are not Hotel or Country Club People which, in Dallas, limited our options considerably. Then we stumbled across this venue that a) is amazing and unique, b) did not force mandatory/exorbitant catering or bar packages on us and c) didn't cost an arm and a leg. This family-run venue was so warm and welcoming of our video game-themed wedding that we wanted to use their photography services as well via the owner's husband, DKam Photography. They accepted our constant email correspondence and questions (sometimes from my other family members) with grace and good humor, and the wedding that resulted was everything we could have dreamed of. Alicia, Sofia, Linda and Dennis are fantastic, and I hope many more brides (and grooms) get to be as lucky as us with such a cool place to get hitched.

The team at Castle at Rockwall has to be one of the most organized, warm, and accomodating teams I have ever seen when it comes to event planning. The customer service was phenomenal from day one, and they always ensured every single part of my wedding went the way I wanted it to go. The hustle and bustle of planning a wedding is insanely stressful. They checked on me often to make sure I had everything I needed. I can't thank them enough for the memories they helped me create. In addition, the venue is breathtaking! The architecture inside and out provided enough details that we don't even have to embellish with much. This is the most AMAZING wedding venue! I was married at The Castle at Rockwall on 09/23/2016 and had the absoultly princess perfect wedding! I felt like a princess everytime I drove up to the front gates. This is a gir's dream if she wants the most amazing wedding of her life. All of my guests loved the castle. Its has beautiful architecture both inside and outside. The staff was so helpful throughout my planning all the way up to me leaving from the wedding. I cannot say enough great things about this venue and the staff. Thank you Castle Team for making my dream wedding come true!

The castle in Rockwell is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST WEDDING VENUE IN TEXAS. My wedding was everything I have ever dreamed of. My original venue told me one month before my wedding that I couldn't have my wedding there anymore, and I had to scramble to find a new venue and get new invites out. The Castle went up and beyond to help me out and get my new venue set and everything else in place. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a fairytale wedding. The castle made my special day one to remember forever and all my guests absolutely loved it.

The castle was the best venue! Not only was it beautiful and a spectacular background, the staff was awesome! They were so helpful and easy to work with. I could count on everyone to get everything done that they had promised, and they were willing to work with me on all my requests. I highly recommend this venue to everyone!

From the very first day we signed up I knew that this would be the most perfect wedding I could ask for. Everyone is very quick to answer any of your questions. The thing I love most is that they treat you like family and not just a person on the street. On my wedding day I felt as if I lived there myself. They made my day as easy as possible. We highly recommend The Castle, not only is the venue unlike anything you've ever seen, completely unique and stunning. The staff is a dream to work with. Not only are they venue owners but have been in the event planning industry so they know their stuff. They were very helpful throughout the entire planning stage, excellent communication and attention to details. Even our other vendors stated that that if all venues were run this way their jobs would be much, much easier. You won't be disappointed.

The Castle at Rockwall is the best place to have your wedding or event. The staff is so accommodating. By the time of your wedding they feel like family. They were flexible with my over top request (fireworks and helicopter departure). There is no other venue that can have meet these desires. Believe me, I looked at many venues and no compares to The Castle at Rockwall. It's more beutiful in person than the already gorgeous photos. From the simple bride, to the over the top bride (like me), The Castle at Rockwall and staff will exceed your expectations.

I had the best experience with the castle staff in preparation of my big day. Whether it was through email or by phone someone was always available and willing to answer any silly question I may have. I would, without a doubt, highly recommend the Castle at Rockwall for a wedding! My husband and I were married there in July 2015 and we couldn't be happier with our venue. Alicia was a huge help from the very beginning. She was very flexible with scheduling appointments and every meeting was focused around us...we didn't have to wait for her to finish with other customers or deal with interruptions like we did at other venues. She was able to answer every question we had and offered her suggestions while also being respectful of our ideas. (Most of the time her suggestions were better than our ideas!) During the planning process, she would send frequent emails/phone calls to check in and make sure we didn't need any additional help, or to update us on any news regarding the venue. Alicia was our day of coordinator and I cannot thank her and the team for everything they did to help us. They helped communicate with the caterer, DJ, photographer, and pastor while we focused on relaxing and making ourselves beautiful (and the men handsome, of course). Our big day would not have run as smoothly as it did and we would not have enjoyed it as much as we did had Team Alicia not been so incredibly helpful and on top of their game! In regards to the venue itself....BEAUTIFUL! All of our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the Castle was. We had our ceremony and reception indoors and did a few pictures outside. At the time of our wedding they were constructing a gazebo for outdoor ceremonies but we would have been a sweaty mess with an outdoor wedding in July. The bride and groom suites were very spacious and comfortable. They were equipped with full baths, several large mirrors, couches, and refrigerators and both had access to outside (in case of emergency to calm your nerves....or make a quick escape, lol). A big bonus that helped us choose the Castle was that it had an open vendor policy. This allowed us to choose who we wanted to use for our wedding and not be forced to utilize vendors that may not have worked for our style or budget. Alicia did provide suggestions for vendors, which we did utilize the recommended bakery (which I would highly recommend) and the caterer. Overall, the Castle at Rockwall allows you to have the wedding of your dreams, letting you be in control, but provides remarkable guidance from start to finish! Thank you so much Team Alicia for all that you did to make our day so incredibly special! Words cannot say enough!

Having our wedding at The Castle was the best decision we ever made. Before my Fiancee and I got married she forced me to go to a number of weddings with her. All of them were, for lack of a better term, lame. After our wedding I can honestly say that ours was the best ever. Not only was the Castle a memorable venue, but we got some really amazing photos and I could not be happier with how everything turned out. The family that runs it is top notch and didn't over look any details. I am now an advocate for this venue and tell everyone I know that this is the best place to get married.

I got married at The Castle at Rockwall in December of 2014. This venue far surpassed everything I expected. I could not have asked for a better place to have married my best friend. The staff is friendly, accommodating and practically bent over backwards to do everything they could to make my event a success. I could not have asked for a more beautiful setting for my wedding. The brides and grooms rooms were spacious and were a great backdrop for "getting ready" photos. The Chapel area was a perfect spot to set up my cake and have our latte bar set up. Our guests loved sitting out on the veranda, since the weather was nice, and my family still talks about how I got married in a Castle! There are no words to express my appreciation for their assistance in executing the most important day in my life, I could not have done it without them. If you are looking for a venue that is not only beautiful and unique, but also has personable and flexible staff, this is the place for you.

I recently had my wedding here and it was a success. From the moment I booked the venue in January, the staff was helpful and had great suggestions. They asked detailed questions that I would not have thought of to make sure everything went smoothly. The venue itself is so gorgeous, I didn't have to use a lot of decorations. Our oldest daughter got married in Sept and everyone and everything at The Castle was amazing! Alicia answered every email and phone call immediately. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the castle! I love the staff they were so flexible and willing to help me in whatever way possible to make our day spectacular! We had a short engagement and they were able to help me work out all the details quickly and efficiently. We had the perfect fairy tale wedding and I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of, which is something you need trust me. I recently had my wedding at The Castle at Rockwall. The venue was just amazing! We got married at 6 pm and the sunset over the castle was just breathtaking for pictures. The Girls there are some of the nicest and fun loving people i have ever met. They helped Me, My husband and our families set up and made everything run smoothly. I have been told by every guest at the wedding that not only was it one of the most fun weddings but beautiful weddings they have ever attended. You do not need much to pull this off because the castle itself has so much character and beauty it brings it all together. My little 2nd cousin Skyla, who is 3, Kept asking me if i was Cinderella and if we were at the ball in my castle. My answer: Yes Sweetie! It was a fairytale wedding and I cant express how beautiful and perfect it was. Thank you to the family at the castle. You guys are great and I do not have one negative thing to say about you guys because Our wedding was.... *Perfect*.

From the first time we drove up to the Castle and met with Alicia, my fiance and I knew that this was where our wedding was going to be! After all, who doesn't want their Happily Ever After to begin in a castle?! I know my 6 year old self is over the moon that this venue exists AND, even better, in my hometown!! My fiance and I knew we wanted to get married close to home and avoid some of the traditional venues in the area, but I never even dreamed we would have found something so perfect. The Castle is gorgeous inside and out, but the Castle staff really make this place shine. Everyone is SO friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in their efforts to make your party the best! We hired the venue photographer for our pictures and were blown away with the quality results...and the quick turnaround! Not to mention we had SO MUCH FUN at our shoot!! Everyone has been so easy to work with and have made us feel like we're getting special, one-on-one service for such a special day in our lives. THANK YOU!!!! THE COUNTDOWN TO DECEMBER IS ON!!!

I made the best choice by using The Castle for my wedding venue and reception. If you haven't seen the place in person, go now...pictures don't do it justice. Everything you can think of, they have including a beautiful fireplace, bar, photo booth, several bathrooms for guests, a huge room for each the bride and groom, and even video games to keep the groom busy. The owners are so personal and made our experience incredible!! We were blown away by how much they helped and truly made this day a fairytale for us both. Our original venue flooded the day before our wedding and Alicia and her husband took us under their wing and stayed up late with us to make sure everything about my wedding was just perfect. Although everything worked out to be absolutely breath taking, I really wish I would have used them to begin with. They made my day so stress free and one of the best days of my life! I'm hoping this review will help others make the same choice because I promise you won't regret it!! I'll forever be thankful for them and all they did for us!!

A Texas Fairy-Tale I never thought my future wife could have ever looked more beautiful... and then I saw her standing beneath the entrance to a real, grand castle... radiant and glowing, like something straight out of a fairy tale come to life. The care Linda, Dennis, and Alycia put into our wedding touched us in a way we couldn’t imagine. It was clear that this was not just a job for them, rather they were personally, and emotionally invested in making sure we were as happy as humanly possible the entire way through. We had dreaded the thought of having to deal with multiple venue reservations and vendors for our wedding day, so the fact that nearly everything we needed for our ceremony AND reception was available to us all under one roof at The Castle was a much welcome relief from the usual wedding logistical nightmares I watched my married friends previously deal with. Honestly, we just feel fortunate having been able to hold our wedding here at all. Considering how recently this family began overseeing the Castle and the unreal work they’ve done thus far, at this rate it won’t be long before word of this absolute gem of a venue gets out and people start furiously bidding with one another for reservations, with the prime dates filling up years in advance. It’s just a matter of time before people will question with astonishment how we actually managed to have our wedding “at THE Castle?!” To Dennis, Alycia and Linda: You truly made the happiest day of our lives a reality. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We wish you all the success in the world which you so rightfully deserve.

I simply cannot imagine a better venue for our wedding than The Castle at Rockwall. Photos simply cannot do this place justice! Both the grounds and the interior are breathtaking in person. What makes this place truly special though, is the staff. They are some of the kindest, most accommodating people I have ever worked with. Both my husband and I frequently plan events and were genuinely impressed by the level of professionalism, creativity and genuine care they offered us. We had so much fun and so few worries! My husband and I recently renewed our vows at this magical venue! We and all of our guests felt like Princes and Princesses for the evening! From the gorgeous outside view driving up to the Castle to the magical inside of the Castle, this was an incredibly special night for us. The details of the Castle in each room make it spectacular! The layout of the Castle makes it flow effortlessly and the owners are especially wonderful! They took extra good care of us and we can't appreciate them more! We will always treasure and remember this evening! Thank you so much!

My fiancé and I met The Castle owners at a bridal show. They were really warm and genuine and it didn't feel like they were trying to "sell us" like some of the other venues were. Truth be told, they didn't have to. After being underwhelmed by everything else we saw, we were blown away by The Castle. I'm tearing up as I'm writing this because I never imagined I would be getting married in such a magical plates. We both work full-time and have a lot on our place, so I don't know that this venue would have worked out for us if the owners weren't as accommodating. If feels like I have known the wedding coordinator for years because that's how much she cares about me having the wedding of my dreams. If a typical ballroom won't do, I definitely recommend couples check out The Castle.

Looking for a wedding venue was quite interesting. We visited about 6 venues and thought we had found our place. That night I came home and did one last search for venues and The Castle At Rockwall popped up. We thought what the heck lets go see it. As we drove up our hearts just skipped a beat. We walked in and were greeted with such passion and care. It was quite refreshing. My Groom and I looked at each other and knew right away this was our place. Our wedding is not will 1/23, but I have my entire wedding planned and booked. I have had to come by the Castle quite a few times to show our DJ, Sister and Parents. Alicia and Linda have been a Pleasure to work with. They are always there to answer questions or concerns. I have seen their hard work and dedication they've put into this place. Each time they add something to make this my fairytale wedding.
