The Castle Prom and Bridal

The ladies at the Castle are so amazing! The found wedding dresses within my budget and they gave great advice and recommendations for accessories that would go well with my dress. The day I went to pick my dress up from being steamed (3 days before my wedding) I found out my florist was unable to do my flowers - I asked if they knew of anyone and they referred me to a wonderful florist who was able to help! I am so thankful for all of their time and help! I would definitely recommend them to anyone :) Thank you so much!!

This review is long overdue. The owner of this store in the Spartanburg SC location was my saving grace. I originally went in on a Saturday with some of my friends and family. I said yes to the dress. I went home that night, and something wasn’t right in my heart about my decision. I was so excited that day to find one, but later on realizing I needed to look one more time. I still had this image in my head of a certain look. I called that following Monday and spoke with the store owner and explained to her my situation. I was extremely lucky that the prior dress hadn’t been ordered yet. She knew from my voice the desperation for help. I made a new appointment that next Saturday, and I decided to go by myself. The owner, and a few other consultants were waiting for my arrival that morning smiling, as I walked in the door. As a team, they worked together and found exactly what I was looking for that day. Since I decided to go alone, they helped me start to finish with every detail in finding my dream dress for the BIG DAY!! The love and understanding heart of the owner at The Castle, is something you don’t find everyday. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for everything you did for me. Amazing place! I definitely recommend working with them. I am having a quick engagement of 4.5 months and they were so nice and accommodating - did not pressure me to buy that day, unlike other places. They have so many beautiful dresses and the staff was great - worth the drive from Raleigh! I love my dress!

Based on other reviews from friends and online, I decided to check out the Castle in Anderson as my first stop in the hunt for the dress. The girls at the store were so sweet and helpful (even with my 2.5 year old niece/ flower girl running all over the place!) I let them know what I liked/disliked in a dress, and they let me pull some gowns I liked and also pulled some just for me to try--sometimes a certain style of gown looks better than you think it will. I had fun trying on the dresses and as they say, when you find the dress, you just know it! I never felt rushed, pushed, or uncomfortable during the process. I had my dress in plenty of time to get alterations, and I appreciated the free steaming! Will recommend to any future brides!

What a great experience! Not only did they treat me like royalty, but they did the same for my mom, aunt, and MoH - we had so much. Lauren did a great job pulling a variety of dresses and finding a dress that fit my style and that I fell in love with (and was under my budget!). She even sent me a sweet, personalized card. Of all the salons I went to, This was by far the best service! I highly recommend the Castle to any bride!!

Absolutely loved my experience here. The first time I went, I didn't have an appointment, and Ruth, greeted me so sweetly, listened to my preferences and brought me the most beautiful dresses that all fell into the category I described! She was amazing! In fact the dress I first tried on, was perfect! I thought there must be more out there, but I ended up comparing each following dress to that one. I made an appointment to come back, put it back on and said YES! The entire experience was wonderful!

I would not have found the perfect dress if it wasn't for Robyn and the consultants at the Castle. They went out of their way to make sure we found the perfect style. I cannot say enough positive things about the Castle. Visit Robyn and you won't be disappointed.

I went into The Castle for the very first time a few weeks ago after getting engaged, and immediately loved the atmosphere and the woman (Ruth) who helped me! I thought I wanted a ball gown style, but she brought me out a little of everything since I wasn't for sure about any style. I tried on a drop-waist gown that I loved! Long story short, I went to a few different places to see all of my options and ended up finding one at Dimitra's in Greenville, SC, but called the girls at The Castle to see if they carried the same dress because the girls at The Castle are so much friendlier than anywhere else! They seem genuinely excited to help you find THE dress, and that they did! I ordered my gown a few days ago and I can't wait for it to arrive! Also, this is where my bridesmaids will be getting their dresses from!

Highly recommended. They prefer appointments, however this was my first attempt at trying on dresses and they were very friendly and helpful. They brought dresses to me and showed me how to change the look of a dress and I completely changed by views of my style. Absolutely wonderful experience.

The girls at The Castle are wonderful ! I showed them a couple pictures of what I wanted and my all time favorite dress with a big bow on the back. They were able to pull dress I really liked but they pulled this one that was close to perfect, it was just missing the big bow but we were able to make a big bow( their idea) and it was the dress if my dreams! I can't thank those girls enough for helping me pick the perfect dress. I also got my bridesmaids dresses from there which were awesome

I was discouraged when I went to The Castle to shop due to bad experiences at other places but I found the dress I wanted!

Even though I had already purchased my dress somewhere else she was amazing at helping me find bridesmaid dresses and helping press/clean my dress. She has great recommendations for alterations as well. Such a lifesaver and a lovely person!

The Castle was one of my first stops for wedding dress shopping. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but not pushy when it came to buying a dress that day. That had a nice selection of dresses, and the prices were not overwhelming as some bridal lines can be. I had a few more stores to browse, and ended up coming back to the Castle a few weeks later looking for a dress that I found online by one of the designers I knew they sold in the store. They remembered us from our first visit with them and were once again helpful throughout the visit. I would definitely suggest visiting The Castle in Spartanburg (I know they have another store in Anderson, SC as well)when looking for your wedding dress if you live in or around the area.

I couldn't have felt like I was catered to more. I went over my appointment time, but they didn't try to rush me. Other girls who worked in the store would recommend dresses. It was a great day and experience and I appreciated all their help. Very affordable prices with excellent service. Were not pushy to purchase at all. I actually left and came back and asked to try the dress on again and they had great service.

It is was so nice to come back from my honeymoon and take my wedding dress back to the Castle to get preserved. They said it would probably take one month to process, but that was fine for me.

It was the best! I had went to anothe shop before going the Castle and they had me almost crying. I was helped by Kaylee she was so sweet an was very helpful! I also got my bridesmaide dresses from the Castle they wer more then helpful with that as well! My siter in law is pregent and didn't know whatsize to order and they let her wait and then order her dress later and made sure that it came in same time as the other dresses!! I have been telling everyone how great it was shopping there!

I found my wedding dress at The Castle after much heartache over what I thought would look good on me vs. what actually did. My dress happend to fit perfectly with no alterations, and it was discontinued so I got it for half price! Robin was a great help, letting me make payments over time. I had nothing but a pleasant experience with The Castle.

A month before my wedding, I still didn't have a dress. I had been to a bunch of stores and was starting to panic when I walked into Castle. They had an amazing selection of gowns and my dream gown, the "one that got away" a few months earlier, was there on the rack in my size and color. The ladies in the shop were so nice and helpful and were as excited as I was about finding "the dress". They even helped me find the perfect lace shrug to go with it. Thanks for saving my wedding, Castle!

LOVED working with the girls at Castle. They were so sweet and helpful when I came in to dress shop. They have really great quality dresses at good prices. I got to have a gorgeous designer dress at a reasonable amount. They also have great bridesmaids dresses and bridal accessories. Great place to shop!!

Absolutely PERFECT experience! The staff were nice, friendly, and fun. They gave you the time and attention you needed, had great suggestions, and were easy to work with. I found my perfect dress there and LOVE LOVE LOVED it!!! Great prices and payment options as well. I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for an absolutely fabulous dress. They have very unique designs, which makes you stand out as the one-of-a-kind bride! :)

I loved the ladies of The Castle. Especially Robyn who helped me try on several dresses. I did find my perfect dress here but only after I took a huge leap of faith. The dress I bought I found in the first bride magazine I picked up after being engaged. I called around and the castle was the only one to have it. The only problem is I had to try on the sample which was 2 sizes smaller than what I needed. Now I understand the point of sample sizes but I am not a big girl. I am big chested and being that the dress would hardly even shut I took a huge risk and ordered my dress without even really knowing how it would fit me with the correct size. My plan worked and my dress came in a month earlier than I had been told orignally.

The Castle is amazing. The girls there are so friendly and knowledgable about their product. They are so helpful and honest. They will not let you leave there until you are completely 100% satisfied. There was one small issue that was even taken care of before I noticed it. I have been doing business with them since my highschool years and if I ever need any other formal wear, that's the only place I will go.

I so happy that the girls at the Castle were so helpful. My bridal party was large and they were able to help me find dresses that would work for them all. Two thumbs up!

I can't say enough good things about the owners of this shop - they are so personable and helpful. I have been going there for years for all my formal-wear needs. The only reason I did not buy my dress from them is because I found the dress I loved at another store, and when I called Castle to see if I could buy it from them, they weren't able to get it in. Highly recommend them though!

These girls know their stuff and go above and beyond to make sure your dress is perfect for your big day. The 0 interest layaway was perfect for me and my dress was a dream come true!

They have the best customer service of any of the bridal stores I went to in Greenville and Columbia. They are so friendly and helpful. I also purchased my shoes from them. Wore my heels for 6 hours straight without having to remove them.

Found my dress, fell in love with it! They have been so great to me as a bridesmaid for other weddings so I was thrilled to be buying my own dress from them. They were very helpful when we decided last minute to have a steaming. Great experience!!

I went in to try on a specific dress. They helped me find the style number on the internet, and got the dress for me. The dress looked terrible but I loved the style. They found several more of a similar style and VIOLA! I found THE dress :)

I love The Castle! I got my dress for only $300 in their clearance room! It was regular $3000! They were ready & willing to do whatever they could to help me with anything.

They were very helpful and had a lot of nice dresses to choose from that were not outrageous

The had books i could look thru to get more ideas;I didnt like that when i ordered something i had to pay half down and they did not have my size when they sent it so i could not try it on and i couldnt get my money back either
