The Catering Company

I would NOT recommend this vendor. The food provided was all delicious and plentiful, and she very willingly served a brunch buffet, which was not her "norm." These things I appreciate. However! . . . First, we paid for our amazing wedding planner and her assistant to eat a full meal, and the food was packed up (prematurely, per contract) BEFORE this exhausted pair could even think about eating. They ate nothing. The specific timeline had been provided to all vendors and participants, so there was no acceptable reason for this. Second, we asked clearly that "to go" plates be prepared for the bride and groom, but again, this did not happen and the food was GONE away when we realized we would have to make the wedding couple's travel food ourselves, regardless of the prior agreement. Third, and maybe worst to me, this caterer ran two of our debit cards WITHOUT permission, a few days after the event. She took $250 x 3, and WITHOUT verbal agreement, without a "credit card authorization" signed and left on file. This is ILLEGAL. We were all working out inaccuracies in the billing at the time she independently ran the cards, and once the corrections were made, the bill would have been paid. But she did not wait for that. Then when she sent the final bill, two of those $250 withdrawals were forgotten. I again had to "look out" for the inaccuracies in order to not overpay. These three named problems were choices. They were avoidable. Everyone makes mistakes - I get that. But not everyone owns his/her mistakes and this vendor had a hard time doing that. So no, I do not recommend the risk of unnecessary stress added to your event.

Everything was amazing! The food was great and Linda and her staff were fantastic! They worked with me through all my questions and requests and I couldn't have asked for a better menu

We had our wedding at The Heritage (the same owners as the Catering Co.) and everything was amazing! Linda did a custom taco bar for us and everything from the food quality to the buffet decorations were flawless! Her staff was also so helpful, one of the servers even pulled out my chair at my table for me because I had a plate in one hand and my dress train in the other. And to top it off, Linda fixed us plates to take at the end of the night because the groom and I did not get the chance to finish our meals at the wedding. If you are getting married in the Tri-Cities area and The Catering Company isn't your caterer, you're making a mistake.

The Catering Company provided the food and appetizers for my daughter's wedding. Several people said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding reception. Another told me they did not want to eat the fruit and cheese display because it was so pretty! Their service is top notch with décor to match the wedding theme. The staff were very helpful personally waiting on the bride and groom and packing them a to-go-box for the road! They went above and beyond helping us get our bouquets out of the floral baskets before the ceremony, lighting our lanterns before the ceremony, and cutting and serving the cake. Exceptional food and service! Thanks Linda and staff!
