The Centre at Bluffton

Overall, I think the Centre was a nice place for our reception. But for the amount we paid, I wish that the day before and the day of our wedding featured better customer service. I was assured repeatedly that Brenda and Wendy would take care of everything, but the day before the wedding I was disappointed to see that the room was arranged in a different fashion than what we had discussed. When I brought this up and offered to change it myself, they were upset and annoyed with me, and I was accused of saying that I had changed my mind because it was right according to the notes. When I pointed out that our head table was missing a few seats, I was told that I had emailed that as a change. I pulled up my email just to confirm that I had in fact requested the correct number. When I arrived at the reception the next day, the lights were as bright as they could go, and throughout the night I received several comments that bar staff was treating guests disrespectfully. While none of these things is a huge deal or all that annoying, I was just surprised that I was treated sort of rudely the day before the wedding regarding mistakes that I hadn't made. Trust me, I'm unhealthily obsessed with being organized, and these things weren't my errors. The reception was very nice, and the food was decent (we had some complaints about the pork being very dry) but I would consider options in Lima and Findlay that are of comparable price and possibly better customer service.

We had our reception at The Centre in Bluffton. We have recevied so many compliments! Leading up to the wedding Brenda and Wendy were a great help in doing the planning and making sure everything would be perfect. They can do everything for you from decorations, to the food which you must have catered by them. They also have a range of open bar options to chose from which were very competetively priced. We loved them, it was beautiful and they made it so easy!
