Based in Philadelphia, The Ceramic Bride crafts beautiful mementos of couples’ wedding day attire. All the effort that went into selecting a wedding dress can be immortalized through this process, making for a charming reminder of marital bliss. Owner Renée Weiss Chase is a fashion designer that specializes in creating depictions of clothing through a clay medium. Leveraging her abundant experience in the fashion industry, Renée branched out into ceramics and found a passion that grew into a thriving profession. Beyond the structure of the dress or attire, she considers the wearer, their attitude, and their essence. The Ceramic Bride molds statues in a range of styles. Each creation stands 17 inches tall and includes fine details. As all of the products are handmade, they are fine-tuned and checked for quality and accuracy throughout the entire process. The final result is a one-of-a-kind heirloom that speaks to a magical moment in a couple’s journey together. Photos of the chosen wedding gown can be emailed to Renée and, following pricing, turnaround time is approximately 6 weeks.
