About this vendor
Based in Philadelphia, The Ceramic Bride crafts beautiful mementos of couples’ wedding day attire. All the effort that went into selecting a wedding dress can be immortalized through this process, making for a charming reminder of marital bliss.
Owner Renée Weiss Chase is a fashion designer that specializes in creating depictions of clothing through a clay medium. Leveraging her abundant experience in the fashion industry, Renée branched out into ceramics and found a passion that grew into a thriving profession. Beyond the structure of the dress or attire, she considers the wearer, their attitude, and their essence.
The Ceramic Bride molds statues in a range of styles. Each creation stands 17 inches tall and includes fine details. As all of the products are handmade, they are fine-tuned and checked for quality and accuracy throughout the entire process. The final result is a one-of-a-kind heirloom that speaks to a magical moment in a couple’s journey together. Photos of the chosen wedding gown can be emailed to Renée and, following pricing, turnaround time is approximately 6 weeks.

The sculpture that Renée made of my daughters wedding dress is so meticulously detailed and beautiful. Renée communicated with me to make sure that I was happy and answered my questions through email quickly. She really is committed to making sure that you are satisfied. She packages the sculpture to insure that it gets to you safely. However our delivery folks were not so careful and caused damage to the train of the dress and at the top. Without me even asking, Renée immediately offered to remake the sculpture and send to me again at no charge. I am so excited to see my daughter’s face when she opens it on her 1st anniversary 6/15/2020.
This beautiful replica of the bridal gown that both my daughter and I wore was given to me by my children as a surprise for my 80th birthday! It is wonderful and an instant heirloom. The quality is so fine that I am sure any museum would be happy to have it on display.
