The owners (forgive me if I butcher their names I got married back in March and life has gone quickly after) Michael and his wonderful wife made the entire experience so easy. They had everything outlined, suggestions ready to go, and the communication was perfect. On my big day, the power went out for the whole area as there was an outage. I almost didn’t even know it happened because we were outside taking pictures before the ceremony. When we returned from taking pictures and waited in the bridal suite for the ceremony to begin the generators kicked on. Honestly as soon as the power went out Michael was working tirelessly booting up the backup generator. I have so much appreciation and love for this venue and my day was just beyond perfect. This place is truly a package deal and if I could plan my day all over again I would pick this place every single time. Thank yall for allowing me to have such a beautiful experience!

The cottages afterwards were nice as we were able to continue our “after party” with our friends and immediate family. Michael even allowed my dog as part of the ceremony. All our guests even mentioned how beautiful the venue was and were surprised that it even included decor for me to choose from, which was included in the overall price. The decor was the biggest seller point to me because that would have been a huge cost if I had to go out and buy all the decorations just to use for one day. Highly recommend this venue. Michael was super helpful throughout the planning. If I had a question I’d email him and within an hour I had a response. Which helped with my anxiety! After the wedding we were able to have an after party over at the cabins, which we loved. It’s hard as a bride and groom to really hang out and relax. With so much going on and taking everything in, it’s just hard. So hanging out with friends afterwards without having to be pulled anywhere was nice. All in all it was an amazing experience! He ensured everything ran smoothly and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, including personally driving me from the bridal suite to the chapel. e are from San Antonio and felt like this venue was out of town and felt like a get away from the city but was also very close to the highway and hotels making it very convenient for our guests. The Chapel and reception hall were stunning just as they were and needed very minimal decor. The venue felt big enough for a wedding with both of our whole families but also felt very intimate. My favorite part of the venue were the cottages that allowed us to spend the night. We did not feel rushed to end our perfect wedding day. We loved that our immediate family got to spend more time together and stay the night with us at the cottages.

I had so much help from Michael, day of, just getting any extra pieces from decor pulled and set up. The decor we used belonged to the Chapel and was so beautiful and easy to set up with how it was put together and organized for us to set up. The Chapel at Gruene was everything we hoped our venue would be, everything we envisioned the day would look like. The bridal suite, the cottages, the grounds just everything was very beyond beautiful!

When you walk into the reception hall you are greeted by a breathtaking candle lit fire place, and grand chandeliers, tied together with rustic butcher tables which gave a very romantic atmosphere. Michael and his staff put so much thought into the venue itself to remove any stress from us. The bridal suite had everything a bride would need to get ready. TCG offered a wide selection of decor that was included into the cost of the venue, which saved me literally thousands of dollars. TCG was has 4 different whimsical cabins that slept my entire wedding party the night of. TCG also included informational guide that covered everything. This helped me find all of our vendors from hair and makeup, Bartending and catering. I couldn’t believe how much this venue had to offer and the price was so affordable.

Also they had a décor collection that we could borrow from (at no extra cost) that saved us a ton of money! The venue was just so beautiful and well kept and fit our vision perfectly.
