id, Heather was with my husband and I for a solid two years. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful working with her was. To my new brides, whenever you book vendors for your big day, you are essentially “investing” in your wedding. An investment that you should absolutely consider is hiring a wedding planner. I cannot stress enough how much LESS STRESS you’ll forgo by having a “go-to” for all things wedding related. In Charleston we can predict the heat, the rain (sometimes), and hurricanes but as a bride what I could not predict was a pandemic and what that meant for our July 2020 wedding. Once we figured out that Covid was here to stay, we made the difficult decision to postpone. Heather contacted all our vendors, and we easily transitioned our wedding day to one year later in July 2021. What drew me to Heather was the fact that she lost her mother to breast cancer the same age as I did. We both shared a special bond with our mothers, and it was difficult knowing that my mom would not be there to experience our special day. It was what my heart needed to have someone there as a shoulder to lean on, who knew how it felt to not have a loved one there for a day as monumental as your wedding day. I am so thankful that Heather took us on as a couple and I will forever cherish her friendship. I cherished her even more so when I also lost my father unexpectedly 6 months before our wedding. Heather helped me through this tragic loss and made sure everything ran smoothly before and on the day of our wedding. She transformed our venue into exactly how I imagined it, and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day except marrying my best friend. Heather was more of a friend to me than just a vendor, I truly couldn’t have gotten married without her. tely knew that Heather would be wonderful to work with as she was kind, knowledgable, and helpful. She seemed to understand my vision, and we did not hesitate to hire her after just one meeting. That was the best decision I made during wedding planning! Heather works with many amazing vendors in Charleston, and from those vendors, specifically suggested people that she thought would best fit my personality and vision. They were all wonderful to work with also. We ended up having to reschedule our wedding two times due to COVID. Heather made it seem like no big deal by contacting all of our venues and working out dates that would work across the board for everyone involved (TWICE!). I know she was having to do this for many of her other clients at the same time, but she still managed to ease our stress and disappointment by taking care of everything with a kind and gracious attitude. When we finally got married, Heather made the day seamless and perfect. I never had to worry about a thing, and when I showed up at the venue, it was more beautiful than I even imagined! Heather took every one of my scattered thoughts and helped transform them in to an absolute dream wedding day. I went from wanting to elope to wanting to relive the day over and over because it was PERFECT! She is so easy to communicate with (in person and email/text/phone) and kept every detail organized from start to finish. She even helped calm all of my pandemic panic, communicated with vendors, and helped us feel 100% comfortable with the decisions we made during this crazy time. Towards the end of our planning period, Lauren took over and was our go to girl on the day of the wedding. She is also an angel on Earth and took care of every final detail for us. My wedding day was absolutely STRESS FREE and I have Heather and Lauren to thank for that!
