The Charlestown Rathskeller started out as a speakeasy in a different time, and has grown into something entirely unique since then. Nestled in the woods of Charlestown since 1933, the Rathskeller has become one of the unique dining and entertainment destinations in Southern New England. The "Down Back" is the perfect, festive environment to host any kind of celebration. We provide guests with a huge tent, a full stage, beautiful grounds, world class food and beverages and all manner of games and activities. What guests decide to do with that is totally up to them.
