The Chateau is settled on twenty-one beautiful acres of vineyards, trees, and gardens, ten minutes outside of Ankeny, Iowa. With a vast amount of space for seating guests and two full-time event coordinators to think of every detail and ease your mind, we have it all! Come out and see our breathtaking grounds and the magnificent facility, it's sure to win your heart.

This venue can accommodate up to 250 guests in two beautifully unique spaces. Enjoy scenic views when you host your ceremony on the lawn at The Chateau. The beautifully restored gazebo and natural vine setting serves as the backdrop, and a paved aisle makes for a smooth and elegant entrance that you and your guests will remember forever. For an indoor ceremony or reception, the 6,700-square-foot facility boasts vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors as well as plenty of windows for natural lighting.

Celebrate your wedding in this remarkable space that offers all-inclusive packages to make your day absolutely seamless. An on-site bridal suite means that you don’t have to stress about where to get ready before taking the trip down the aisle, and their event planners will assist you in putting together a day that’s as unique and beautiful as your love story. From setup and on-site event items such as chairs, tables, and more than 60 linen options, to dinner and clean up, the staff at this venue is ready to help you make your day easy and stress-free. The Chateau has a gorgeous all-wood bar, fully stocked so you can mix and match what you’d like to serve your guests. The Chateau allows you to bring in any outside caterer that is insured and licensed. Our staff is happy to fill all water glasses throughout the event, bus all tables, do all dishes, replenish the beverage station, and help with clean up at the end of the event.

different times, answering all our questions and walking through everything and anything we wanted. The Chateau is a beautiful, large venue inside and out. Even on March 22nd, we had plenty of places inside and out to take beautiful pictures as well as have an outdoor ceremony. We loved being able to select linens, napkins, and napkin folds, which really helped personalize our wedding. It’s easy to get to from Des Moines, and is paved all the way to their driveway. We had over 40 kids present and we loved that they had space to run around without having to worry about traffic or stranger danger. The day of, Larissa and her team were present and involved in the entire day. It went so smoothly and everyone said how kind and helpful they all were. One of my favorite parts was when Larissa got on the dance floor to teach everyone how to do the Cotton-Eyed Joe line dance. The Chateau is in great hands with Larissa at the wheel!

able to have 3 visits with a wedding coordinator that works with the Chateau. They will go over absolutely everything and basically hold your hand as much or as little as you need. They helped our day run as smoothly as possible! They set up and tear down all the tables which is an extreme added bonus! We have been in many weddings where the wedding party ends up setting up and tearing down the entire venue. This added so much value that we could spend time enjoying the wedding instead of having to figure out tear down/ set up/ ect.
All we brought was our decor and made the set up super easy.
There are 60 different colors of cloth napkins and table cloths that can literally accommodate any color combination!
A fully staffed bar as well kept the room and bar moving as smoothly as possible.
I love that the dance floor is in a separate room from the dinner which makes it easier to hear people for those that don't dance.

I need to make a list.
1. The outdoor space. The outdoor gazebo with the paved aisle was so beautiful and an amazing place for the ceremony. There are also beautiful wild flowers, trees, and the vineyard that make for beautiful photo backdrops.
2. The indoor space. The dinner and dancing are separate which is a huge plus. We had people on the dance floor while other people had a place to talk. The getting ready rooms are also amazing.
3. The FOOD!! This was one of the things that I was complimented the most about. Every single thing was so delicious. Literally the only complaint about my wedding was that we didn’t have any leftovers to take home.
4. The Staff. Every single person that works here is amazing. The bartenders had a lot of my bridesmaids drinks memorized. The coordinator (Larissa) is literally the best person you could ever dream of running your wedding day. She assisted the entire day. She not only coordinated aisle waking but walked around with me and fluffed my dress all night. She got bugs and stains out of my dress and was there to soothe me when I was freaking out. I cannot say enough good things about these people!!

e Jenna is a "get crap done" kind of person. They compliment each other so well and gave us a lot of confidence that everything would be just how we wanted it on our wedding day. Since we knew it would be rainy that day, they told us they would do their best to make the ceremony work outside, but ended up having to move it inside. They called me that morning to run this by me and gave me plenty of notice on what they would be doing. They made it work without a hitch. They did a really great job of responding to any questions I had, as well as checking in on us throughout the day (my husband was so nervous Jenna ended up tying his bowtie for him!!). The venue is beautiful and clean. The only complaint I have is that they changed the contract last minute so that we wouldn't be allowed back up to the loft area, which seemed like kind of a rip off since we were paying the same price and not even able to use part of the venue as we were expecting to. They were flexible with us and let my husband and I back up there for a few minutes to eat dinner together immediately after the ceremony. The bar prices were on the average to maybe a little high end. We brought in outside catering, which ended up being a better deal than using the in-house catering. I would highly recommend the chateau!
