The Chattanoogan offered a wonderful venue for our wedding and reception and was so wonderful to work with. Our coordinator John was so responsive and willing to work with us to make our wedding what we wanted and within our budget. The day of, there were plenty of staff on-hand to help with last-minute items and all the staff was friendly and easy to work with.

The Chattanoogan was my reception site as well as my caterer. The food was included in the cost of my package. We had a light buffet with finger foods. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it.

I had my reception in ballroom 2,3 & 4. I loved the fact that the hotel took care of the table cloths and chair cover as well as catering. The special events coordinator was super ...
sweet and very quick to respond to calls or emails. The food is excellent. We had a sit down dinner with herb chicken or salmon with Caesar salads. There was also a large cheese/cracker display out for guests until the ballroom doors opened. The only issues I encountered were: if the ballrooms aren't rented the night prior to your event they allow you to set up the night before. They told mall of the tables, tablecloths, chair cover, and round centerpiece mirrors would be set up and ready by 8pm on that Friday.

We had our reception at the Chattanoogan for a very small wedding (about 20 people). The venue was beautiful, food was delicious, everything was fun! Unfortunately in our planning ...
stages the staff at the Chattanoogan was terrible, with their wedding coordinator changing things outside of our contract, deciding that our deposit wasn't enough 2 weeks before the wedding, and then not providing the rooms at the agreed upon rate.

Excellent site for our wedding and reception. However, we had an extremely difficult time reaching our event coordinator as the date of our wedding approached. We had to call the...
catering director in order to make our payments and schedule meetings as our coordinator wouldn't return emails or phone calls. In the end, the day of the wedding ran smoothly and guests loved the upscale site.
