The Christina Kateri Band

ne of the best decisions I've made for my wedding. She is so professional, organized, patient, responsive, thoughtful, warm... She is just AMAZING! She walked me through the process and helped me figure out what kind of music I like (I was absolutely clueless to begin with). And at the wedding she picked EVERY song right! I can't remember how many times I heard my guests tell me "the band is really great". I want to thank Christina and her band a thousand times for making my night incredible! I will recommend them to anyone in a heart beat!

hing went perfectly. The Christina Kateri Band delivered! This included learning and performing several new songs at our request. They also accommodated our desire to include some acapella singing led by members of the wedding party. By the end of the night, everyone was on the dancefloor having a great time. We only wish the party could've gone even longer!

We did not want the band to end and they sang one more song! For the son/mother dance we selected the song "Sweet Child O' Mine, Sheryl Crow version. The band sounded absolutely incredible! Christina has a beautiful voice! Throughout our son & daughter-in-law's wedding planning they kept telling us Christina was the best to work with. Thank you for making their wedding so special. I would recommend them over and over again!

d we actually went and saw SEVERAL very well known wedding bands in Michigan and then the last band we saw was The Christina Kateri Band. She was super warm and welcoming when we met her, and on top of that the band sounded great. We hired them for our wedding, and guess what? The BEST DECISION. I am so thankful we went with a band for our wedding and especially Christinas. She was super responsive to us, and organized and on top of it all throughout the wedding planning process. I trusted she wanted to make me a happy bride. The day of our wedding she met with my brother who sings at every family wedding "We Didn't Start the Fire" and did a sound check with him. Which I appreciated. The cocktail hour music was great and the guests loved it. But most of all, the reception was a blast! Our guests danced all night long and my husband did, who truly isn't the dancer out of us. As for feeling the music, and getting down with my bridal party and fam, it definitely happened. They were so great, a couple at our wedding hired them for theirs. Very happy with our decision, and this is coming from a bride who wanted a DJ, and also after seeing other bands and researching. Hire The Christina Kateri Band. You will not regret it.

amazing, her musicians are all professionals–they could seriously fill stadiums, given how talented they all are. What made her performance even more incredible was how perfectly Christina tailored every song to our tastes. Christina really took the time to listen to our preferences and style and achieved the perfect personal vibe for us. With every new song I thought “I love this one!” Christina and her band made our wedding celebration unforgettable and we received so many compliments on the band from our family and guests. I cannot recommend Christina enough!

She works really hard to get to know you and your partner’s music preferences and then seamlessly integrates them into the night while also acutely reading the crowd and playing music that keeps everyone on the dance floor. We got so many complements on the night of the wedding about how wonderful Christina was with her stunning voice and how amazing the band was as a whole. It is something we are all still talking about months later! I cannot recommend them enough! Christina feels like a close friend now, and I recommend her to everyone I can.

The entire band was so professional and I never once had to worry about the process. And the music! She learned every one of our priority songs and the overall set was magical. The dance floor was packed the entire evening. An incredible overall song selection across multiple genres (we loved the country additions). Do yourself a favor and work with this musical genius!

We had to re-plan our wedding about 4 months out (thanks, Covid!), and she was one of the few vendors that was really flexible with how we could proceed. Honestly, just a great mix of professional, yet also very personable while helping to plan a huge part of our special day! Wedding and reception: The CK Band was phenomenal! From the first dance to the last song, they did a great job crafting a really personal set list and crushed every single song. They were able to being a ton of positive, fun energy to a small (~40 people) wedding, so I could only imagine how much they'd blow the metaphorical roof off with a bigger event. Having them play our reception and wedding was one of the easiest and best decisions we made during the whole process! They were truly fantastic from beginning to end!

Furthermore, the band was very professional and provided a good atmosphere. Logistically, they set up all the audio for our outdoor venue (including emcee and cocktail hour). The cocktail hour music, with violin and piano, was awesome. Christina and her band kept the dance floor busy all night. I highly recommend this band and would certainly choose them again.
