The estate house has seven incredible bedrooms, many with en-suite baths and there is also a 2-bedroom apartment that guests can rent. The Christy House has partnered with many a local business to support your vision and they are happy to share those recommendations. You can hire your own caterers to personalize it further. We have owned the property since 2019 and host weddings, family reunions, showers, anniversary dinners and community gatherings all year long. nd then a tented reception in the front yard! Our September wedding here was so beautiful. From the weeping willow trees down to the getting ready room, it was so picture perfect everywhere you looked and was so peaceful. We loved the space and had our intimate rehearsal dinner there as well. Plenty of parking onsite and a lot of variety of space for guests to walk around and mingle. I loved the backyard for cocktail hour too! As a wedding videographer myself to now a bride, this venue is nothing shy of perfect for your wedding day. I also loved that you could bring in your own catering, bar tenders, alcohol, photography/videography/ DJ etc! Many venues make you use their own vendor team but the freedom to bring in everyone we personally wanted to this venue was amazing! Truly couldn’t recommend this venue enough. It was answered prayer for an Ohio space! My photos wouldn’t upload to the Knot for some reason, but see Tracey Castrejón events, Inyumfilms, and Kyliebrynnsmith on Instagram for more!

ous. Everyone loved all the different rooms and places inside and out. It was also the perfect backdrop for photos. We got lots of beautiful pictures of family groups and friend groups. We had 25 ladies seated comfortably between the dining room and breakfast room (connected to dining room). There was also plenty of room for our buffet, drink station, dessert table, and game prize table. The white tablecloths and real dishes added extra flare to our event. The bonus was we didn’t have to wash dishes! We also had 9 men in the game room (in basement) and they had a diaper shower at the same time. The owner, Chris was so helpful and readily available during the whole event. My only regret is that I did not book it for a longer window. Everyone would have stayed longer, just to hang out. If you are looking for a place to hold a memorable event, this is the perfect place to go!

dor flexibility was a great feature. We also loved the quaint on property Air BnB for the bride and groom. Jeanne ( owner) was extremely helpful with setup,clean up as well as helping with suggestions and work arounds. This a fabulous venue at a reasonable price point. Highly recommend!

ess, the owner of the home, was very accommodating, and was always there to lend a hand with whatever we needed. I think she was a mind reader, honestly! She also helped immensely with keeping things neat and tidy during our event, and even helped me with cleaning dishes and packing up. I would never have expected her to do that, but what a gift it was to this tired mom! The house is beautiful, and provided a lovely backdrop inside for pictures on the beautiful staircase and other areas of the home. The bridesmaids all stayed comfortably in the house the night before the wedding, and had a truly special time. After the event, many of the wedding party spent the night, which was another plus. There was plenty of room in the kitchen and butler's pantry for me to set up a bridal breakfast and luncheon, and several nice dining areas. The bridesmaids took over the upstairs for dressing, hair and makeup, and they had everything they needed there. The groomsmen enjoyed their own comfy space in the basement where they could relax and get dressed, complete with couches, television, and a pool table. The grounds are lovely, and look out over a nature preserve. The wedding was outdoors, so this made a lovely setting. We had a large tent set up in the front of the house, and the caterers and florists were able to use the garage for working and storage, which was handy. I also used the garage for storage, so there was quite a bit of space there. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at The Christy House, and I highly recommend it as a wedding venue!

est quarters upstairs which was a very fun little sleepover with my girls before my big day. We had the huge mansion to ourselves and it is a memory that I will never forget! The morning of the wedding we were able to get ready with hair and makeup in the beautiful arboretum which provided my glam team with the most perfect lighting. We were also able to take photos before the ceremony which came out absolutely beautifully! I am so happy that we chose to use the historic home for both my welcome dinner and getting ready on wedding day. Jeanne, the owner, was super accommodating to all of our requests and very responsive to my mother who planned the dinner. Thank you to Jeanne and her family for allowing us to use the gorgeous property.
