They did it all for us…from Greg playing the piano for our ceremony and the band playing at cocktail hour and reception and even allowing people to come up and sing karaoke! All of our guests raved about them and we as a couple can’t say enough good things. They engaged with our crowd a ton which really kept folks entertained and on the dance floor for the full 2.5 hours of dancing. Meanwhile, they did not take a single break throughout the night which everyone thought was awesome. We could not go more than 5 minutes without someone coming up to us saying how amazing they were. On top of that, Greg was the best to work with. He was very responsive and allowed us to fully customize the night the way we wanted. Literally everything we asked for, from having a speaker outside for cocktail hour to allowing me to bring my full guitar setup to play with the band, the answer was simply “yes, we can do that”. There’s a reason that they come so highly recommended - they will absolutely not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and book them.

. Greg was the perfect MC and didn't miss a beat. They played killer music during the cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, and learned all of our special dance songs. We built in 3.5 hours of dancing into our reception and it wasn't enough. I could have jammed with these guys all night. We sang with the band, we crowd surfed, I played the saxophone, one of my guests rapped - it was hands down the coolest party I've ever been to. Booking the Chuck Taylor's was (apart from marrying my husband) the best decision I've made to date.

derful the Chuck Taylors sounded, great price, unlimited hours, no breaks, and super friendly/amazing/talented??? But it's true, Greg and the band were everything we hoped and more. Before we found Greg and the Chuck Taylors we were looking at a different band to book, but after experiencing that competitor at a friend's wedding we weren't sold on it at all. The competitor band was not memorable at all, very expensive, and didn't perform spectacularly, so we weren't sure we wanted to spend the money on live music. Greg changed our minds. Once we saw The Chuck Taylors YouTube channel and talked to Greg on the phone, we knew we could rest easy knowing our night was going to be amazingly fun. So if you are in the market for a wedding band, look no further. We had the best night of our lives and it is in large part because of how well they could read the crowd and how engaging they were with the audience. Greg and the band don't need to be fed and don't take breaks, which sounded potentially exhausting but they kept the party engaged THE WHOLE TIME and you could tell they truly have a passion for entertaining!!! I also asked them to be a bit "unconventional" and play our first dance song's music video on a projector and they did without hesitation. Greg asked the entire guest attendance to sing along and it still gives me chills to watch back on all of our guests singing to the video. Hiring the Chuck Taylors will ensure your event is nothing short of AMAZING AND SPECTACULAR. The saxophonist even came out into the crowd and they let us sing with the microphone. You really can't ask for a better experience. Without hesitation I plan on hiring them for my next event no matter what it is or where it is and recommending them to all of my friends!!!

He’s kind, ENERGETIC, professional, TALENTED, and positive. He is a great emcee and totally “read the room” and our crowd which ranged from 20 somethings to 80 somethings - the dance floor was packed the entire night. We had a blast, he had a blast, and the bride and groom had the wedding ( and dance party) of their dreams. Thank you to Greg and The Chuck Taylors Band, BEST and easiest wedding decision we made.

When we did book them, I was nervous to tell them I wanted my dad to perform my first dance song with their band and that I had some other songs for them to learn. Not only did they say yes but Greg was genuinely excited and supportive as he coordinated with my dad. It meant the world and gave me one of the best memories I'll ever have. At the wedding? The crowd was obsessed with the Chuck Taylors. The dance floor was never empty and our friends still comment on how they bonded with specific musicians. Hahaha they really just blended into our crowd in the best way. Greg also acted as an emcee throughout and did a fabulous job. One of our best choices in wedding planning and they will always hold a special place in my heart!

r starters, I met Greg while touring the venue we decided to get married at. Our coordinator said, “hey do you have a DJ or band yet? If not, we just so happen to have our favorite one here right now setting up for an event!” Being my family has always been very musically inclined, we hit it off immediately! Greg’s energy is second to none! He is extremely quick witted and funny, smart, sweet, attentive, and of course, TALENTED!!!! We left not only knowing where my wedding would be, but now who our DJ would be! I messaged him that evening claiming I want him, and he was very happy to oblige! During the wedding process, 6 weeks before the big day, my dad fell very sick. We became so worried and scared. 7 days prior to the big day, we had to make the tough call to postpone. I quickly reached out to Greg and his response was incredibly sincere. He told me to not worry and that he will accolade a new date if it’s available. Him being so popular, I was so nervous it wouldn’t work out.. but the stars aligned, and he was in fact free for our new date! At the point, my dad was starting to turn a corner and we were seeing positive changes. One night his band was performing near us and we decided as a family to go! My dad was still wobbly and healing but he came and the last song of the night, Greg dedicated to him! Thoughtful and genuine gestures such as this confirmed our already found love for this man. After that night, we decided we didn’t just want Greg, we wanted the whole band, and that’s exactly what we did and I am SO happy we landed on this decision! ITS WEDDING DAY! The day we had been waiting for finally came. I spoke with Greg a few nights prior about what I wanted to have played for the ceremony and when he answered his phone, he was in the background playing, “it’s the final count down” on his piano and that cued up the excitement even more! The man is so sweet, he truly is! Anyway, he helped nail down the perfect music for my bridal party to walk down the aisle too. It had me in tears (naturally). The day went without a hitch, not a single issue arose. He kept the movement of the party consistent and controlled and the energy her eluded is second to none! He is the true heartbeat of keeping the night alive and jumping! He gets people involved, he sings fun and happening songs and man can the band jam! My favorite memory of the night was seeing my flower girls dance the entire night and when the party was coming to an end, it was just a few close family members left and we tore that dance floor up! Belting songs, acting goofy, and just having a true and wonderful time. It’s something I will NEVER forget and talking about it will always make me tear up. Greg, and to the Chuck Taylors.. thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. You showed me an immense amount of love & kindness & I know you are someone I will always consider a now friend. You are someone I want to stay in touch with and my family and I cannot wait to follow you & your band around for different events and performances. Greg Lee and The Chuck Taylors were the first band that we chatted with and after talking to numerous other bands throughout the planning process, we just kept coming back to them. Not only was Greg Lee knowledgeable and awesome to talk with, but he never made us question his ability to pump up the crowd and handle anything we threw at him. And that they did!!! Greg learned all three of our special dance songs and nailed them all. Guests at our wedding also still talk about how much fun the band was and how engaging they were with the crowd. They had trophies to give out throughout the night, let my husband sing karaoke to his favorite song, kept all ages up on the dance floor, and just owned the party the entire night. I’m embarrassed to say that our wedding night was actually the first time that we heard them play live, but I think it also says a lot about who this band is because I have never heard ONE bad thing about them, and they exceeded our expectations. GREG LEE AND THE CHUCK TAYLORS ARE A MUST!! You will not regret it!
