We had our wedding at Canyon Lake Cabins and Cottages two weeks ago on 10/14/23 and let me tell y’all it was amazing!! We had family and friends from out of town and the bridal party stay at the cabins and they absolutely loved it! We got the venue for the whole weekend so we were able to have rehearsal dinner there, our wedding and a brunch on Sunday morning. So convenient! All the staff is so nice and helpful! We got Amanda as our coordinator for the whole weekend and she did an amazing job! She made the whole process less stressful. She just knows what she is doing. All my family and friends loved our wedding. If you are looking for a hill country wedding with lodging for out of town guests this Venus is it! Even if you don’t need the lodging and only need the venue it’s still beautiful. It’s so charming and Ioved all the beautiful lights at night. During the day is so beautiful too and cocktail hour was so nice! They also have a room full of decor that you can use for free and some other decor and linens to rent out so you won’t have to worry about looking for those vendors. You also get to choose your own vendors! I am so thankful my husband found this place! We prayed for a perfect venue and this one was it. We have no complaints. Also this place is pet friendly. Our fur baby got to be part of the wedding. We were able to also take him out to join us during reception and then take him back to the cabin. Some of our guest did the same thing for their pets too. It was awesome! Also we had about 115 guests and the floor plan we choose gave us plenty of room for a dance floor.. Thank you Amanda and all the Cabins and cottages staff for helping to make our day beautiful! My husband and I and all my family and friends loved our wedding!

We feel so lucky that we stumbled across CLCC for our wedding because it was everything we could have dreamed of! The price for everything that is included is unbelievable. You get a lovely venue in the beautiful location of Hill Country with a supply closet that has everything that you need. The staff is amazing! They will always check up on you and have an open line of communication for whatever you need. They want to make your wedding everything you want it to be so they will go above and beyond. Christie and Melissa were my wedding planners and I could not have gotten through my wedding without them. The property manager, Kimbel is charming and makes you feel like you're at home. I cannot thank CLCC enough for everything they did for us!

My husband and I had our wedding there this past weekend and it was literally the BEST decision we made. Everyone was so loving and caring. Special shout out to Christie for her great organization and keep everything on track and Kimball (the property manager) for check on us so frequently. Seriously, there wouldn't have been a better place. My whole family can't stop talking about how perfect of a time it was. And the SUPPLY CLOSET is everything a bride could need. Thank y'all so so so much.

CLCC is truly a gem! Honestly, I was hesitant because I thought the price was too good to be true for how long we rented it. We were able to have a Saturday wedding for a fraction of any other venue and the quality of the service and venue itself was top notch. Our day-of-coordinator went beyond her day-of duties and was in contact with my vendors which was a relief for the bride. We had our ceremony and reception there this past September (2019) and the weather really was nice and though the ground was pretty brown, all the trees and bushes were green and looked gorgeous in our photos. This place is a DIY venue but there are plenty of add-ons that still won't put you near the cost of other venues. Truly a gem! Thank you CLCC for investing in your venue to make it a memorable part of my wedding (and thank you for the lovely note in our guest book!)!

Fantastic place for a wedding! We knew as soon as we visited that we wanted to get married at this beautiful venue. We loved having the ceremony, reception, and guest lodging all in one place. It is an amazing price for a full two days of use. We were able to plan a whole weekend of activities with our guests. We did a lot ourselves so didn't have a ton of interaction with staff but they were always wonderful when we did have a question or request. I like that they are willing to be as hands-on or hands-off as you want. We definitely plan to come back!

This was my wedding venue last weekend and the entire staff was amazingly accommodating! The Gazebo was re-painted just in time for my wedding ceremony, the floor was waxed so it was ready for our reception, and the venue was absolutely beautiful! I attended their open house in May and immediately fell in love with scenery and the friendly, down to earth staff. On top of all that, it was the most affordable venue that we came across and included a huge selection of amenities. We chose the 24 hours wedding and did have to taper our guest count down to 150 due to seating space but it was the best decision I made for the wedding. Helpful tip: include cabin rental information when you send your save the date and again in the invitation.

The price is great, staff is helpful and there are plenty of options to do as little or as much as you would like yourself. Loved every minute of our special day at this beautiful venue!

I’m the second bride in my family to utilize this fabulous venue. You truly cannot do any better and the price is fantastic compared to other places where you pay upwards of $6000 for a time slot of 6-8 hours. You can bring in your own vendors, they have a kitchen to accommodate either a catering company or if you want to DIY your food, which is what we did. Mallory was a fantastic contact and helped us with any questions we had. We got the venue Friday-Sunday morning and it allowed us to ease into set up and decorate, host the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner onsite and relax and kick back with all our wedding party and out of town friends. Everything was beautiful and easy even though we decided to do most things ourselves. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

great place for a rustic wedding.. they had decorations to choose from that could be borrowed for free and the price of the place was not bad at all compared to all the other venues!

TL;DR: This Venue is absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. You should put this at the top of your Venue list (we all know you have one). First off, it's family owned and operated which means they give you personal attention into making your big day unforgettable! Plus, they're very quick to reply to emails and phone calls so you don't have to wait to get an answer! Second, beautiful location in the Texas hill country; a great place to get married year-round! Our guests couldn't stop commenting on how incredible the venue and the location was of our special day. For one of our guests, they said it reminded them of Italy. With the garden lights strung up on every tree and throughout Outback Hall it looked and felt magical. Next, very DIY place. If you're tired of "we only allow this vendor or that vendor"...look no further!!! If you don't want to do all the work they have features and services that you can add to put your mind at ease. Finally, and potentially the biggest reason to choose Canyon Lake Cabins and Cottages, they are very reasonably priced. For what you get vs. how much it costs...worth every penny! Side note: they takes your requests seriously. I asked for hammocks to be made and strung up around the venue - thats exactly what I got. If you want a venue that takes the time to give you personal attention and takes the times to find out exactly what you want stop looking and go take a look!!! The entire experience was a blessing; my husband and I were so fortunate to have gotten married here. P.S. Martha, the hair and make-up artist associated with the venue, is absolutely worth it. She takes the time to listen to your vision and will make sure to make it into a reality.

So grateful for Kam and Melissa at Canyon Lake Cabins and this BEAUTIFUL venue in the hill country! The trees with the sunlight made for gorgeous photos of my wedding and the hall was the perfect space for the reception. We were expecting about 130 guests and had worked it out to fit everyone but ended up with about 110 guests. The space was absolutely perfect and not cramped at all with this number. We used the patio for extra seating, food service, photo booth, and bar service through the patio window. Kam and Melissa were exceptional with their flexibility in helping us prepare. And a bonus the venue is currently getting a remodel so it is just going to be getting more and more pretty!!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I was so stress free all day. The staff took care of so much! I had a truly flawless wedding day and canyon lake cabins and cottages played a huge role in that. Plus, it's beautiful! My pictures were absolutely GORGEOUS! All my guests told me how much they enjoyed their little vacation! It was really nice to be able to stay on the property also! ❤❤❤

This is the best place to have a wedding. The price is right, the hall is beautiful and everyone has a cabin to stay in. Lynn and Pierre (the owners) were so sweet along with everyone else that worked there. There are so many wonderful things about this place and all our guests loved it there as well.

This is a great place to have a wedding! You get the venue for the whole weekend!So, we had the whole family there all weekend it was great!! The owners are so sweet! and very helpful! The view here is amazing! and the Hall is beautiful!! We had so much fun! And we are very pleased with how everything turned out! We will be going back here just to visit!! WE LOVE THEM!

This venue was awesome for our wedding! We could not have asked for a better deal! The gazebo & the surrounding lawn & landscaping is just beautiful for an outdoor ceremony. The hall was perfect for the reception and all the amenities....just can't beat this place for the value! The price includes use of the hall from Friday to Sunday..and it includes the cottage behind the hall for 2 nights! The couple that run it are super nice and very easy to work with! Definitely would consider using again for other parties!
