Matt and Jessica were both very friendly and easy going, which made our big day so much smoother. Their professionalism is beyond 5 stars. Anytime I had a question, concern or idea, Matt was very quick to repond. We received our photos back so fast and they were absolutely breathtaking. This team is the BEST! Matt is super fast at replying, communication is a 1000/10. Matt always answered all of my questions and we got photos back from our engagement shoot and our wedding back SUPER fast. They are super affordable in this very expensive industry and they are worth it! I will be recommended to all of my newly engaged friends to hire this lovely team!

I'm a Wedding Coordinator and had the pleasure of working with Matt and Jessica on a wedding in the Redwoods a few weeks ago. What a great team! Their photos are beautiful. They worked so well with the wedding party and made everyone feel comfortable and excited. As a fellow vendor, working with them was a breeze. They were communicative ahead of time, accommodating to last-minute changes, and always had smiles on their faces. They even saved the day with a creative alternative for a dessert photo op that the bride and groom LOVED when we realized the cake did not make it to the venue. With our engagement photos to our wedding day photos, the Clausen Gallery did an amazing job! We love our photos and get many compliments on them! Matt & Jessica are very professional and have the best insight on how to pose to make everything picture perfect. I love how they have a sample of poses during our photoshoot to give us ideas. He was so bad that we used Matt for three different ocassions, for my wife and I's wedding, for our first child baby bump pics, and then for our daughters baby bump pics. Matt took our engagement photos over the weekend and got them back to us so fast! He was super responsive to all our questions and picked the perfect location for photos. We love the engagement photos so much and cannot wait for him to shoot our wedding as well!

We cannot recommend the Clausen Gallery enough! From the very start Matt was kind, extremely responsive, and so knowledgeable about his job. We can’t imagine our day without him and his incredible partner Jessica! (She even saved the day with extra strength hairspray :) ) They made us feel so comfortable and went above and beyond to capture not only great portraits but also all of the authentic moments throughout the night- from emotional ceremony tears to a packed dance floor. Their turnaround time for the gallery was also less than a week- insanely impressive and so appreciated. They knocked it out of the park!!

We hired The Clausen Gallery for our wedding in Fresno, CA on 7/1/23. Matt was able to capture every detail of the event (ceremony, reception, and party). He was very professional, detail oriented, communicated via email, texts, and through phone conversations. Photos were available in a timely manner. I'm absolutely obsessed with the photos from The Clausen Gallery! Matt and Jessica are amazing photographers and great people to work with. I had a full-service planner for my wedding but they provided so much information ahead of my wedding date along with tips and tricks, vendor recommendations, and info about timelines that I felt like I could have planned it myself. They were so responsive and checked in regularly ahead of the wedding date. On the day, they arrive on time and ready to shoot. They were great at catching the most intimate moments between myself and the bridesmaids as well as my husband and his groomsmen ahead of the ceremony. They also had a great eye for the little details we would want to be captured on film. I didn't feel like they were directing us too much, rather, they were capturing the important moments as we enjoyed our day and experienced it fully. The posed portraits we asked for were not awkward and went by so quickly. We were able to get great shots and authentic smiles with the direction and assistance from Matt and Jessica. Where they really shine is action shots! When I saw the bouquet toss photos I was so impressed. We were joking that my aunt pushed someone to get the bouquet and Matt and Jessica captured the exact moment when it happed. The reception was captured perfectly! With the same care and attention to detail as our getting-ready photos, we have all the best moments on film without feeling like we had to ask for anything. They instinctively know when a photo moment is happening! We had preview images in less than 24 hours and we received our full gallery a week after the wedding. Their speed, quality, attention to detail, and professionalism are absolutely unmatched! I've worked with other event photographers all over the US for my day job and I can honestly say they are the best photographers I've ever worked with. We are beyond grateful for their amazing work and I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer!

We originally found The Clausen Gallery on Instagram and after viewing the posts of the style and quality of the photos they took, we booked them. They provided exceptional communication from first contact through after we were provided with a gallery of the photos taken of our wedding. Additionally, we felt that Matt and Jessisa were amazing on our wedding day. From the time they arrived to the end of their shoot time, Matt and Jessica were great at getting the shot without disruption. We loved how Matt took the photos, Jessica ensured to fluff my wife's train, fanned her, offered refreshments and both ensured to avoid any wet spots around the alter so her dress didn't get dirty or wet. They offered and took suggestions from our guests and to add to the Clausen's awesomeness, there was a guest who had a reaction to something eaten and Jessica offered some meds to relieve the rash. Truly added to our wonderful day!

We are so glad we hired The Clausen Gallery for our wedding and our engagement photos! Our photography package was the one thing in our wedding budget that we would not compromise quality for price, as pictures are the one keepsake that will last forever. Matt and Jessica are incredibly sweet and talented, and the quality of their work is outstanding. They helped make us feel at ease in front of the camera and kept our pictures more candid so it looked natural, as opposed to the very posed and fake photos you may get with other photographers. They blend easily into the crowd during the ceremony and reception while still capturing beautiful close-up photos. My husband and I are also very goofy and free-spirited, and I feel that Matt and Jessica were able to capture our personalities perfectly in our photos. Their turn around time for their pictures is amazing!
