The Clubhouse At Lake of the Woods

I'm so happy I chose this venue for my wedding, we had on ceremony right by the lake and our reception in their ballroom. The manager Joey Welsh is amazing, she was so nice and happy to answer any questions. The staff was equally amazing and my wedding day went by really smoothly. The ballroom is gorgeous and such a great layout! It has a large dance floor and plenty of room for for a lot of tables for a large wedding. The food was delicious And I received so many compliments on it and I was very happy with the open bar I ordered. I did wine and beer and they had a great selection and worked quickly so there was never a long line which I appreciated. Everyone is just so accomadating and they know what they're doing so you don't have to worry about a thing. Conveniently I was also able to have my rehearsal/rehearsal dinner there as well and I was able to set up the ballroom after the dinner so I didn't have to worry about it Saturday morning which was really helpful. It was worth every penny, just a lovely venue with a very attentive staff. I couldn't thank them enough.

We had a great wedding at the clubhouse. The clubhouse manager, Joey, was calm under pressure when a storm broke out and we had to move the ceremony inside at the last minute. Food was great and we were even able to make beer requests for the reception. Thank you for a great night!

Our wedding at Lake of the Woods was a "Dream Wedding" Joey and her staff made our day so memorable and stress-free. It rained the morning of our wedding (in which we did have a rain plan), but by the afternoon it cleared up. Joey was very accommodating even at the last minute and we were able to have our ceremony outside right by the lake. It was so beautiful we didn't even care that it was 50º outside! Our wedding was on a Saturday and we were allowed to come in on Friday to set everything up for the wedding and they have renovated a small bridal suite that can be used the whole day of the wedding. The reception area was so gorgeous we couldn't have asked for a better venue. My only advice is to make sure you ask a lot of questions and be very specific when making all your decisions regarding the contract. It can be very overwhelming. Although they were over our initial budget, it was definitely worth it! Joey and the staff were amazing!

Lake of the Woods is a gorgeous place to have a wedding reception! The room used has huge windows showing the lake, and access to a deck to soak up the views. The staff was tremendously helpful and took care of all of our needs. We were able to set up the day before, which really helped and everything turned out perfectly. The guests are still raving about the incredible food. One downside is that there were lots of people around not associated with the wedding and they ended up in the background of a lot of our photographs. Overall, I would book them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to others!!
